After seeing the rave reviews pour in for this place, I was super excited because I have yet to find a good Chinese carryout spot in our area and this one is in North Liberty, which is close to home. My partner called to order the food and everything seemed to go off without a hitch. No issues ordering over the phone, our order was ready on time (within 20 min of calling), and we received everything we ordered when we went to pick it up. Here's a breakdown: -Sesame Chicken: A little on the sweet side for my personal taste, and not as crispy as I like (carry out problems) but I would order it again. -Beef and Broccoli: The sauce was good, but our particular order was heavy on the broccoli and pretty skimpy on the beef which made me sad. Would be interested to see if the beef to broccoli ratio is more balanced in a regular sized order (we got a small). -Lo Mein: Salty and delicious. Could probably use a few more veggies but I was hangry and woofed this down. It did its job. Would order again. -Crab Rangoons: Delicious. These are obviously always better fresh but they were still yummy and I would order them again. TL;DR: Get the Lo Mein, this is perfectly serviceable carry out, and I'll be getting it again next time I get off work at 8PM and don't want to cook. Recommend pick up instead of delivery.

Enjoyed delicious authentic Chinese food. Fast delivery and reasonable delivery fee. Vegetables were fresh and Shrimp fried rice was very tasty.

Great Chinese food at affordable prices. A hidden gem in North Liberty. Highly recommend any protein in their garlic sauce and the lo mein.

We don't stray far from our regular of veggie fried rice and General Tso chicken, but it is almost good, hot and so fast!

We always enjoy the lo mein from here! My brother is vegan and they let us sub tofu instead of meat which is very appreciated

Pretty good but messed up my order a bit. The lo mein was too soft and mushy for my preference. Very polite, fast and friendly.

When asked, "what's in this tofu dish?, he said, "tofu". My wife asked if it had vegetables and he said he didn't know and made some odd comment on how expensive tofu was as though that made a difference in the recipe. At one point he scoffed and said something like, "the picture shows...". We had so-so beef with scallions and ginger and the green beans. Both were just average. We ordered pot stickers before all the questions and they arrived in time for dessert. My wife also has a Diet Coke which the waiter never offered to refill.

They have the cool round tables that can fit up to 10 or more people for Chinese New Year which is awesome. You can absolutely come here for solid American Chinese classics (yes, the orange chicken is good!). But if you're ready to challenge your taste buds a little--or want to impress your Chinese foodie friend--here's what I recommend: 重庆辣子鸡 (Chongqing Spicy Crispy Chicken) Crispy, dry-fried chicken buried in a mountain of dried chilies. Numbing, salty, and packed with wok hei. A must if you're serious about spice. 四川烤鱼 (Whole Fish with Szechuan Sauce) Whole tilapia swimming in bold, peppery sauce. Flaky, flavorful, and unapologetically spicy. This one earns respect. 干煸包菜 (Stir-Fried Cabbage with Hot Pepper) Don't underestimate this dish--it's got deep wok flavor, a little heat, and balances out the heavier mains perfectly. 担担面 (Dan Dan Noodles) Nutty, garlicky, and just the right amount of heat. Toss them well and you'll see why they're a classic. Yes, it's a bit oily--that's part of the deal with traditional Szechuan. But the flavor payoff is so worth it. Portions are generous, and the spice is real (so come prepared). Pro tip: This is what my Chinese dad would order. And if you're ready to go beyond orange chicken, you just might find your new favorite here too.
