China Garden is by far the best chinese cuisine to be found in the Old Town and Bangor area. They will cook for you to spec. Allot of folks don't know this, and have to ask, but Christine and Mary will ask if the pick up on aa cue. CG doesn't rely on a buffet serving things till they are dried out like cotton. Each order is given direct attention. I have rodered Egg Foo Young for 20 years, and can get it no where elese the wayu i like it. Is it perfect every time? Of course not, I can live with the occassional deviation. Allot of local chinese palces will serve the same dish the same way no matter what. Not here at CG. I read a few reviews here about staff being rude. I am sure there may have been a newbie or short timer that was pleasant to work with. But the current lineup, I would be SHOCKED if there was any rudeness. They go aout of their way to treat customers they way to be treated. I hate to see those reviews impact their business today, just doesn't happen. Believe me, I am probably a every 2 week customer. read more
