Both my boyfriends General Tso and my Singapore noodles were delicious. I don't know what style the teriyaki chicken was cooked in but it was really good! Noodles & Company serve fresh Chinese entrees and sides for in-house and window pickup. The flavoring is very good and plenty of variety. The pricing is fair and the portion sizes are large so plan on it turning it into 2 meals. Not sure what the best time to visit is because when the noodles call we answer! read more

This place is my usual go to for Chinese in Bangor/Brewer. Last night I placed an order that totaled 16.65. Picked it up through drive through. Now if I'm gonna tip I will use cash. But tonight I only had my card , and an exact amount on my "play money" card for things like last minute take out. Today the charge added to my card was $19.98. I called the store to speak to the manager about it and she was "out" and never returned my call. Now my account is overdraft for a few dollars plus a $30 fee for overdraft because someone either reconciled my order for more than I authorized, or someone helped themselves to a tip. Never again. I really thought I was going to a REAL Noodles & Company. I'm really not sure how they get away with the same name! A Chinese restaurant wasn't quite what I was looking for, but it all worked out. So firstly, this is NOT Noodles & Company the chain. It's an independent American-Chinese restaurant. The servers are very friendly and helpful, and the food was fairly bland, but tasted perfectly fine. It's nothing exciting, but it hits the spot. They bring out fried dough strips (wonton-style dough) with duck sauce for dipping, which is great. Many of the dishes are fried, but there are plenty of fresh vegetable options if you look for them. Was very disappointed at out first visit since they reopened the dining room after the pandemic. Noodles was alway a favorite eatery when we lived in Maine, so we always look forward to visiting when we come back. The atmosphere has taken on that of a fast food restaurant. You have to order and pay at the counter like McDonald's. Do not order an appetizer or soup with your meal because it will all come out at the same time. You'll have to order and pay for your app and then go back to order your entree. There is no such thing as "Chinese tea." You'll get a paper cup with hot water and a tea bag. They do serve you, but your food comes in a take out container instead of a plate. If you'd like a plate they'll bring you one...a paper one. The size of the dishes are still large, but the whole experience has been cheapened. I get what they are trying to do, but if they are trying to cut costs they should have just stayed take out only. Sadly, Noodles has been crossed off our "must do" list when we come back home to visit. read more

Last night my family and I made the drive from Northport ME to pick up our grocery order in Brewer. My boyfriend and son have never had food from Noodles so I suggest we get some and take it home to eat it. Now I know this means the food would be cold but that's the least of my problems. We got 2 combo meals and a pu pu platter for 1. ALL of the fried food was DARK like the oil was old and had been used to much. My boyfriend went to brake a chicken finger in half and the huge dry hunk of chicken came out. Several of the Crab Rangoon were still frozen in the middle they were at the bottom of the container. The egg roll to the PU PU platter was so over cooked I couldn't even cut it in half. So this was 40$ completely wasted. I drove by 5 chinese food restaurants that we have always gotten good food from to even GET to Noodles and on the way home. I am so disappointed. I know its not like this all the time as I have visited my parents in orrington several times and we've had food from Noodles that was to die for. Do better. read more

First time coming here was a fantastic experience!!! Absolutely the BEST chicken pad thai I've ever had in Maine. Crab rangoons were perfect!! I have eaten at many a Chinese restaurants. This one is about as average as you can get. Everything was tasty but nothing stood out. For $28 we got a veggie noodles, drunken noodles, and 12 crab Rangoon. The rangoon was good, but everything else tasted about the same. For the price the food could have been packaged a bit better. My wife's veggie dish leaked all over the inside of the bag. All in all an average rating for an average place. read more

If you are from out of town, know up front that this is NOT a "real" Noodles & Company. This is a local Chinese/Asian restaurant. I liked that there was a drive thru, and I loved their duck sauce. I mean, loved. We were told that it was good with the Szechuan style food, so we sort of jokingly asked for a tub of it. We were offered a pint or a quart! Yes please! We got a pint, and I'm glad, because we used it later with grilled chicken. Good stuff. Anyways, the food was decent overall. Nothing special. I thought my vegetable dumplings were a bit weird though. They were really large and doughy, and came sitting in a tangy peanut sauce. They weren't bad, just odd. I had ordered the Shezwan Tofu as a takeout and they gave me the wrong item and when I called and asked for a refund the owner said maybe you will have good luck next time and you will not get the wrong item, after which she hung up on me. I was not amused. I called back after a couple of months, placing another takeout order to give them a second chance and asking for a free entree item for the last time they messed up and they refused. So I am giving them a second chance and they refuse. I had to come here to write this feedback. I would say the food is great, but the service was not as I would have liked it to be. So I am not one who posts on Yelp often but when I am given the most terrible meal I have eaten in a long time, I must say something so that others are aware of what they may waste their hard earned money on. I had the wonton soup which had wontons that looked like shrivelled rat testicles and a bland broth. I also ordered a noodle bowl with boneless spare ribs. The ribs were dryer than the skin on the overly tanned women on RHWONJ. The noodles were stale and flavorless. A pack of Nissan Ramen noodles would have been better and not nearly as much. When I called to complain and told the owner that the food was so terri bbn let that I was throwing it in the trash as we spoke after a near bite of each dish, I was offered $10 off my next visit. I spent $13 on this (lol) meal. I explained that I would not be back to use the credit and that I sent more on what was now wild animal chow in a dumpster. I guess the integrity of the people behind the food and pride in ownership doesn't exist here. No stars. And no shot at redemption. My family and I always get the chef's combos, which are all really good and you get a ridiculous amount of food for $6-$8. I normally can't even finish it. Our favorite local Chinese place! The portions are great for the money. The veggie dumplings in peanut sauce is my favorite, but the yellow curry is also a regular favorite for us. I wish the wait staff were consistently attentive and friendly, and the restaurant interior is cluttered and worn. The food is worth it though, and if the interior was less dingy and the wait staff always great it would get 5 stars easy. read more
