Beef lo mein - must've been 2 pounds of food, great veggies, and plenty of thick pieces of tender beef. 2 packets of soy sauce. The egg roll was great, too - crispy, flavorful and they automatically gave 2 tubs of duck sauce. My only complaint wasn't with them, but my Door Dasher, who - despite selecting "hand it to me" AND asking in the instructions to bring it into my room, it ended up in the lobby. Sigh. read more

Only four stars because I haven't eaten inside so I can't give a fully accurate answer but in terms of ordering and picking up/Doordash, this place is AMAZING! So much flavor, and I love the mushroom low mein (as a mushroom lover). The food reheats so well, it's a great meal and the portion sizes are great for the price! I love getting my Chinese food at Four Seasons. I have been ordering here for years. The portions are huge and I find the prices reasonable. The inside could use a revamp, as the interior is very basic, essentially just tables. I have always taken my food to go. The gentleman that takes orders is always the same and he is very friendly, they have never messed up my order. Can't ask for anything else! read more

Ordered two meals here today . We chose this restaurant over others due to higher ratings , big mistake . We picked up a #56 and # 52 late afternoon May 31 2021 . Order total with tax a bit over $21 . Got home , my chicken with broccoli meal was ok though the " pork fried rice " given with each meal appeared to be white rice with soy sauce and pork added . Fried ? No way . My wife's Shrimp with Lobster Sauce was terrible - she didn't eat any more after trying it . Chicken wings were very dry - flavorful - but very dry & tough . Overall ?? One Star is really all I could give in conscience . If you want good Chinese there are other places to get it . This place would do if it's the ONLY restaurant open during a blizzard and it was close enough to walk to . read more

I specifically created an account on here to write a review for this place. It is hands down the best (Americanized) Chinese Food i've had! Their sesame chicken is the crispiest and crunchiest i've ever had, with the perfect amount of sauce! Their crab rangoons are classically delicious and their teriyaki beef skewers are so juicy and flavorful! All this has been consistent the 8000 times i've eaten here! The people there are so sweet and always have your food ready in the time they say. Please make sure you tell them to add a tip BEFORE they swipe your credit card, there isn't an opportunity to on the receipt! Cannot recommend them enough! read more

I had a sudden, intense craving for Chinese food... naturally, this occurred on a Monday when most other Chinese food restaurants are closed. Imagine my delight when I saw that Four Seasons was open! (Side note: clever move on their part to choose to be closed on Tuesdays.) It was extremely easy to find and there was plenty of parking. The sit-down portion of the restaurant is not currently open but a very nice worker met me at the door, handed me a paper takeout menu and told me I was welcome to call the order in and he would deliver it to my car. I ordered two egg rolls, a small Four Seasons lo mein and a small chicken fried rice. I appreciated that he asked if I wanted soy sauce, duck sauce, forks and/or napkins. It was ready in about 15 minutes. The noodles were delicious and the fried rice was so tasty. Both were well-seasoned and I will definitely order them again. But let me tell you... those egg rolls... it's the stuff dreams are MADE OF! They were probably the best I've ever had in my life. Four Seasons is my go to restaurant for when I'm craving some Chinese food! I've never had to wait more than 15 minutes for my order to be ready. Just call in, park out front, and someone will be right out to grab your name and bring your food out! The portions are good, my usual is the orange chicken combo. So very disappointed ...I love Chinese American food, and traditional Chinese food...this meal was a real dud. I ordered Szechuan pork, steamed dumplings, hot and sour soup, a pupu platter, and sweet and sour pork. The pork was overly-breaded, and there was zero flavor in the breading...just fried dough, no salt, no flavor AT ALL. It was like chewing through a bland hot dog bun to get to a pinky finger sized pork sliver. The dumplings were so heavy and thick, just a mouthful of wet, chewy dough. I am used to dumplings with thin sheets of steamy pasta, almost transparent. These could have choked a horse or stood in for a hockey puck. The Szechuan "spicy pork" was TOUGH...I mean tough like an old leather shoe...and the spice level was non-existent. I expect a decent bite to Szechuan dishes... The pupu platter was okay, the rangoons were good, and the egg roll ... But the boneless spareribs were sadly also tough. The soup was passable, but lacked a balance...it was sour, but had no earthiness to it. The worst thing was the "pork fried rice," it was basically rice soaked in soy sauce with a random bit of pork in every 15 bites. I am so disappointed. On a positive note, the delivery was on time and the food was hot. I will not be returning to this place again. Total waste of money and stomach space..and I was so wanting to like it. I am new to Bangor and I was hoping for a great Chinese place. Guess I'll have to keep looking. read more

The Bangor/Brewer area isn't exactly known for it's diverse food options, it's mostly just Chinese restaurants and Pizza joints. So when I first heard about Four Seasons in Brewer, I was a bit skeptical. But I was pleasantly surprised in the end. From the outside looking in, it's a run of the mill Chinese Takeout spot. There's some light decor, and a moderately sized dining area. The location of the restaurant is a little dingy, but don't judge a book by it's cover, the inside is clean and the staff is very friendly. The food is what sets Four Seasons apart from other places in the Twin City area. It's absolutely delicious. The portion sizes are fair for the price, and each bite was better than the last. The best part about the food is that it tastes clean. You know how most Chinese restaurants kind of have a dirty feel to them? It's reflected in the food as well. Four Seasons uses fresh ingredients and while the food selection is standard Chinese fare, you can tell they go the extra mile to provide the best quality they can for your dollar. Four Seasons does everything a standard Chinese restaurant should, but they go a step farther with fresh ingredients, fast service, and kind staff. As a local who has visited every Chinese establishment in the area, it's definitely in the Top 5. You won't be disappointed in this place. 5 out of 5 I'll definitely be back. read more

Chicken in the general Tso and orange chicken was all dough no meat, finding an actual piece of chicken was a surprise, overcooked so much could hardly chew it. You'd thought it was 3 days old. Omg! This is the best Chinese I've ever had! It's also the cleanest restaurant I've ever been in! The staff was so nice! It was our first time so they let us look over the menu and ask questions. They have so much food! We got two combo meals and 10 crab rangoons and it was $30. We went to the grocery store next door and when we were back it was ready. The food was amazing. Super fresh and tasted like a dream. The portions were huge and we both ended up eating leftovers for lunch he next day! I won't ever go to another Chinese restaurant again. read more

We have tried Chinese food from every place in Bangor and Brewer. This one scared us but on a whim one day we tried it and I will not eat Chinese from any place else in this area again. So clean tasting, fried foods done to perfection, the rice is delicious and the General Tao's is to die for. We have it once a week and have told our grown kids and now that is the only Chinese they will eat. What a hidden gem!!!! read more

Clean, generous portions, excellent customer service! I eat here at least a couple of times a month and I'm a pretty picky eater. Everything I've eaten I would eat again. I'm not big on trying new things. I know what I like. The staff are always polite, the restaurant is always clean (on all senses) and never once needed to take something back or complain about anything.
