Found large plastic sheet inside Mu Shu pork , spend $147.00 and owner complained after charging delivery fee that a $5.00 tip wasn't enough for a large order not be grateful for my business. Reporting them to Board of Health tomorrow. Meal was terrible and always buy at least twice a month large orders big household. They are ungrateful and can't handle the business since the Dynasty restaurant closed down down the road near I4 expressway. Worst food I've ever had. Ordered Subgum wonton for delivery. Came with inedible fried wontons on side. These absolutely had been fried prior (last week?) Beautiful piece of lobster in shell on top of the meal. Lobster could not be pulled from the split shell. Tried to pull out a sliver but it was beyond rubbery, not at alll fresh. I eat at this restaurant constantly due to it being so close to my house. I've only gotten the ribs and the house special fried rice however I've gotten it around 10 times. Each time I go I'm given one to two packs of both duck sauce and soy sauce. I do not like this. If you ask for extra, you will STILL get one to two packs. In addition every time I get a small order of the ribs. The sauce is everywhere. This is the third time that it has happened to me so I know it's not just a one time mistake. You are unable to dine in. However, the food is reasonably priced. The large rice feeds two people, no more than that which is unacceptable for a large in my opinion. Overall, it's a pretty average restaurant. Not too good, and not too bad. There is a little girl that works there and does the pick up orders. She's amazing. Never had an issue with her she's very polite and professional. Would I go back to this restaurant? Absolutely! without a doubt am I still gonna complain about it every time? Probably so lol. AN FYI....the wording on the online lunch menu is wrong. It states: Lunch Special Monday to Saturday 11:00am to 3:00pm. Served with Wonton or Egg Drop Soup or Can of Soda. Roast Pork Fried Rice or White Rice & Egg Roll I read this as my meal, a choice of soup or soda, choice of rice, AND an egg role. The reality on the ordering form is soup or egg roll....not both. I have been ordering from this place for well over 15 years. They are my favorite place and I haven't been able to order from them since I moved. They have since expanded their delivery area. They charge a small fee if you're further than 5 miles (I'm 5.3) but I'm telling you it's worth it. The chicken wings are amazing. The combo meals are the best and you get an entree with pork fried rice or white white, your choice of soup, and an egg roll for under $11 depending on what you order. I love their beef and broccoli, happy family, and shrimp lo mein. Super happy I can pay for them to come to me rather than get it from closer places that aren't up to par. read more

Ordered China Gate online tonight and had it delivered to the Spring Hill Suites hotel we were staying at nearby. Across the board, the food delivered was great and as ordered. Prices were very good for the quantity and quality received. The food ordered/received were the fried pot stickers (dumplings), eggrolls, buffalo wings (medium), shrimp fried rice and salt pepper shrimp. The order was accurately fulfilled, packaged well (food was VERY hot when delivered) and delivered within the timeframe promised. A couple of comments on the food - the shrimp fried rice could have used a shrimp or two more for the rice received. The salt pepper shrimp was very good and the quantity on shrimp received was perhaps overly generous. Loved the dumplings and buffalo wings. If ever back in the area ... which not likely ... Had the orange chicken combo the other day. Everything was fresh and generously portioned but being charged .50 extra or 1 tiny veggie spring roll that is half the size of an egg roll is stingy AF. We love the food at this restaurant, and takeout during COVID is great. Very clean and healthful practices, even closed their dining room before any other places did or before it was mandated. The people are very nice and helpful. Not sure why they are stingy with giving you normal amounts of hot mustard, and they shouldn't charge extra for it for takeout. And sometimes they have trouble getting all the meals out at the same time (or even close) when dining in. But food-wise it's one of our 2 favorite Chinese restaurants in town. I recently wrote a great review on here. Although me and a friend ordered from here on Friday. I had the Hunan beef and my friend had beef and broccoli. Great entrees. We got it delivered and they were piping hot when they arrived. My only disappointment was the crab rangoon. I love some crab rangoon! But these were not up to par. It was mostly pastry and barely anything inside. The ends were hard as a rock. I had to break the ends off to eat the middle because the ends were not at all edible and I didn't wanna break a tooth. I'll still order from here cuz the food is good but I won't be ordering my rangoons from here anymore lol read more

The egg drop soup was what I would expect and tasty. The pork fried rice, and chicken were also very satisfactory.
