This as a solid restaurant. All of the dishes were good but not the best I've ever had. I had the chicken pynang curry. It had green beans and green pepper as the vegetables. I prefer broccoli which is how it's usually prepared. The Chinese noodles on the table were good and the egg rolls were ok. I would return because it's a decent local option. read more

The food is always amazing We order from dragon city at least 3x a month and frequently eat there in person. The Thai food is authentic and delicious (I know bc I have been to Thailand multiple times). The portions are generous. The staff is friendly and they make you feel like family. This is the worst Chinese food place I've ever eaten at. What a disappointment! The large general tso seemed like they counted the pieces of chicken. I ordered the large and they spread the pieces out to make it seem full. Additionally, I don't know why they bother to ask how hot you want it. I said I went the chicken to be hot, instead it tasted like it was made with sugar and no other season. I asked to get chili oil and I didn't get that either. The chicken lomein was terrible. The noodles tasted like nothing at all, and the chicken in it was barley noticeable and to top it off it tasted like nothing at all. However, they do give you a bucket of tasteless white rice that can feed the neighborhood because they probably think that it's proportionate to the amount of chicken they give you. Overall, it's garbage, no good tasteless food. I wish I could give them negative stars because they don't even deserve one. read more

Friendly service, but that's about it. Oh, and the food was prepared relatively quick. Unfortunately, the food was subpar on both quality and quantity (especially when the price is a bit high). I had a combination dinner, as did two others with me. We all were of the same decision; there would be no reason to return to this establishment. Let's start with the egg roll. There was literally no meat within it. Bland, horrid. For my soup I had a wonton egg drop soup. As I bit into the wanton, again, a lack of meat. For the last one I cut it in half and there was a minuscule amount of meat. A piece so small, it could have passed for a scrap of food. Look at this photo. Ridiculous. I had the curry chicken. Again, small portion. A little meat and they couldn't even be semi-generous with the rice. A small meal. It wasn't only about the quantity, it was the quality. It simply was not good. Bland, boring, subpar. These are the kind words that come to mind. read more

Stopped here our 1st time on Friday night to get Thai take out dinners - all our food was fresh and delicious with large portions. We had Pad Thai beef and chicken, and curry with Squid. We waited inside and restaurant was nicely decorated and very clean with a relaxed ambiance. Employees were friendly too. We plan to go back and try more Thai dishes! read more

Honestly - this was terrible. The chicken was somehow dry and yet weirdly chewy. Sesame chicken and general tsos were both flavorless! The lo mein and egg rolls tasted old. Even the fortune cookies were all completely stale. We have nothing good to say about our experience with their food other than they gave us mounds of white rice that somehow managed to be the only semi decent tasting food from the meal - and that's saying a lot. And sadly, we had family over and this was the garbage we fed them. read more

I have been a resident of Oviedo for a year and a half and drive by the shopping plaza which Dragon City is in every single day. However, I just recently had my first Dragon City experience. I met a friend here for dinner on a Wednesday. Walking in I was pleasantly surprised how nice the restaurant is. My friend had arrived before me and had already been seated so I joined her at a booth. Service - C. Unfortunately, I didn't experience amazing service. I had to ask 3 times for a glass of water and it took our server close to 20 minutes to cash us out. I would be a little more lenient if the restaurant had been busy. Food - A. Both my friend and I were very pleased with our meals. I ordered the general tsos which was very tasty and the portion was HUGE! I ate everything on my plate besides the egg roll. Again, I drive by this location every day. I will definitely be back to Dragon City. read more

Oh, egg drop soup...you are so golden and deliciously warming! And the beef and broccoli that follow...tender and flavorful, every time. I may be obsessed with the soup, but the dinner itself is the real reason we keep coming back here. So many Chinese restaurants serve chewy, tough meat, but not Dragon City. Only rarely do I run into a difficult piece. The restaurant is comfortable and family-run. They keep busy, so order take-out if you're in a rush. Otherwise, enjoy your night out. Stopped here for takeout during the pandemic. I've been looking for a Chinese food joint near my house since I moved. This place is right around the corner. they are currently offering takeout only (Nov 2020), The menu here is really more suited for a full service sit-down meal in my opinion. The food is average chines food, but I haven;t been wow'd by this place yet. The Lo. Mein is pretty decent though. I'm disappointed that there is no Bourbon chicken on the menu. But there are some other decent menu items here. Of note the Orange chicken has a true orange zest flavor in the recipe.....none of this cheap orange chicken that we see so much of. The lobby is super-small so it can only hold 2 people socially-distanced. There are 2 doors so it works really well for entry/exit without getting too close to anyone in line during the pandemic. In general, its a decent Chinese meal. read more

Dad and I went to Dragon City in Oviedo because we checked Yelp and they had 4 stars. The food was delicious. We had steamed dumpling and vegetable spring rolls for appetizers. Chicken Pad Thai, Crispy Bejing Beef, and pork fried rice. Everything was made to order, hot, fresh, and SO good. Our receipt just says Server #1 but was great! read more

This was average Chinese food. We ordered both chicken and shrimp Lo Mein and they were very bland. Maybe that means no added MSG? Also had Crab Rangoon. I have had better, but they were "4 stars" good. Moo Shu chicken was also a bit bland. The steamed dumplings were great. Chicken and broccoli in white sauce had lots of big veggies - carrots, too. I would recommend getting some of the dishes here that have a sauce with presence - like General Tso's or Sesame Chicken.... we have had those before and they were better than the dishes we tried tonight. read more

$15 for an order of sesame chicken... I'm expecting to receive pork fried rice with my sesame chicken, as is what I've always been served at countless Chinese takeout places when ordering a sesame chicken combo...instead, once I get home I find I was given plain white rice... For $15 you are giving people a few pieces of chicken and a buttload of plain white rice??? Oh, and they threw in two sad pieces of broccoli with the chicken...and got a really stale fortune cookie...like REALLY stale. Even the sesame chicken wasn't so great... And I've never ever had bad sesame chicken before... They didn't even throw in an egg roll .. not sure what kind of Chinese food place this is. Needless to say I most likely won't be back. $15 is too much to pay for PLAIN WHITE RICE. read more

This place is kinda your average Chinese place, however they offer a bomb lunch special that's super cheap. It was like $7 and it came with soup rice and your main meat choice. I felt the chicken was a little over fried and too chewy, but the sauce was good and the service was perfect. Our glasses were never empty and they checked on us often. For a quick cheap option for lunch, I'd definitely recommend this place. I would recommend for the establishment to clean their fish tanks. They were kinda gross. read more

We have been customers at this restaurant for 15 years and through 3 owners. Howeve, the service has gotten so bad that we walked out after eating our soup and egg roll and waiting for our main course for over an hour. All the people that arrived after us had been sat and some were finished and paying for their dinner. The waitress never came around to update us on our order or see if we needed any additional drinks. Pros: food was not greasy. Everything taste fresh and flavorful. Friendly staff. General Tso's chicken was the best I've ever had with REAL white meat! Cons: portions are smaller than your average Chinese restaurant takeout. we ordered 4 lunch specials to share proteins but was not enough. It's a better deal to buy a la Carte for sharing. You will get more for your money. No upgrade option on the rice that comes with the Lunch specials (not sure if it's the same for dinner). It makes a HUGE difference with your meal by getting house fried rice wow! So delicious! We just bought it separately. read more

As someone who is born and raised my entire life in Oviedo, this restaurant is well-known for being good to the locals here. I know there are a lot of people moving into this town so if your new to the area and looking for a great restaurant, I highly recommend it! I ordered take out earlier tonight. The food was amazing! The General Tso chicken is very high quality white meat chicken and they can make it as spicy or mild as you want. I love their krab rangoon. Very creamy and fresh with a delicious sweet and sour sauce that is light but extra tasty. Both the vegetable lo mein and the General Tso chicken are the best. My mom had the Young Chow fried rice which she loved. (And, she's extremely picky and hard to impress.) Dragon City is very nicely decorated. It is unlike most asian restaurants that fail to take the time to decorate and clean the interior. There are two waiting areas for takeout orders. You can place a take out order and have a drink on their comfortable lounge chairs. Prices are really reasonable and the food tastes fresh especially their vegetables. We have eaten here many times. Food is consistently good. The portions are large. Even with the lunch specials most people have to save some for later. The restaurant is always clean and a big plus for me is the restrooms are always clean (this is a good indicator of how they treat the rest of the premise). I have never had an issue with asking for changes to meals. With my specials I get house fried rice and hot & sour soup...never an issue from the friendly accommodating owner. read more
