Class there right friends yesterday for early lunch. It located in a plaza with other business and very well hidden. But what a hidden gem it is. It is Taiwanese cuisine and they are yummy. The restaurant is simply decorated with very friendly servers and staff. The menu is wide ranges of Chinese cuisine. We have ordered braised beef rice, stir fried string beans, garlic sauce eggplants, orange chicken and fried dumplings. They are so yummy, especially the dumplings and the string beans. Looking for a good Chinese take away in the area and have them a try. While I understand they are newish the whole process from ordering to picking up the food felt awkward with very poor customer car skills, like walking away while you are talking. I had curried chicken with fried rice combination with spring rolls. The rice had a bad after taste but the curry chicken was nice. The container was 75% rice to 25% curried chicken. Usually I steer clear of Chinese food because it leaves me running for the toilet... however, my husband loves Chinese food. We decided to give this place a try after my in- laws recommended it to us, and it did not disappoint and I didn't have any stomach issues. We will definitely be returning. My husband went inside to grab the food and mentioned that the staff was friendly and that there was some seating inside as well. This place has the best Chinese take out! Every time I've ordered it's always fresh and delicious. This last time we ate inside and it was very clean and the food was so good. We got the crab ragoons, Singapore Mei Fun and the orange chicken all of them fresh and tasty. You can tell they make the ragoons in house and they're fresh. I don't know what I was expecting when we pulled into this parking lot. I have been slowly eating my way through this winter springs plaza and have had some great eats in some pretty dated looking restaurants. This spot was way more modern than I expected based on the outside. The interior is very clean and nicely decorated. I had a fairly large group of people with me and the general consensus was--wow this place is great. One person thought the fried rice fell flat and it honestly didn't look very appealing, but the other dishes were fantastic. Their bean curd and vegetables had fresh, crisp veggies in a delicious sauce. The tofu was crispy on the outside, but nice and chewy on the inside. I had never had a scallion pancake and theirs was delicious. My daughter enjoyed her mei fun noodles and grilled pork. The food came out quick and we had wonderful service. This may be my new go-to spot for Chinese. read more

New Small Business RAVE!!! Taiwan Café is located right next to the old Chilangos's, on 434 near Moss Rd. this place is super clean, the staff is so friendly, and the food is amazing! We have not found good Chinese food ever in this area, this is definitely the best Chinese food I have had in the state of Florida. I had the pepper steak with onions, my boyfriend had general tso's, and we tried their crab Rangoon. Everything was incredibly fresh, very flavorful, my boyfriend asked for his to be extra spicy, and he said it was perfect! The crab Rangoon was very good, lots of crab in the filling. I really like the portion sizes, it was plenty without being three days worth of food. Great prices, our meal came out to $31 before tax (we drank water) please patronize this business, let's not let them go under! So happy we found this place! We recently moved here from California and been sadly disappointed by the asian food offerings in Orlando but Taiwan Cafe is giving us hope! Place is clean and well kept, (yes I judge a restaurant's bathroom). The customer service was wonderful! The owner and his wife were so warm and welcoming, willing to make accommodations without hesitation, and was even memorable to our 6&7 year olds. I duno what the other guys comment regarding the orange chicken was about becuz if you're expecting Panda Express chicken and fried rice, you won't get that here. The orange chicken here is legit! Tangy sweet with a hint of orange, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The combination fried rice was cooked and seasoned to perfection and the Mongolian beef was tender and flavorful. It is a bit far from me but we have been so disappointed with the Chinese establishments near to me recently, so this was a great find! I've been driving by wondering if the food was good, and thankfully we finally pulled in and gave them a try. The room is not "cramped" but it's not huge, it's not too loud but not echoing either. The service was quiet, quick, and interactive! The owner, Andy, took our order so he could explain anything on the menu, with his brother cooking, and his wife and sister running food and drinks. We ordered several things so we could try and take home leftovers! Everything we tried was exceptional. The crab Rangoon needs more cream cheese!! First off , I reluctantly tried their food first time yesterday w my partner. As soon as we got greeted n stated the waitress asked forcefully 2xs what we wanted to drink. We ordered general tso chicken combo, fried scallops side, and beef and broccoli w eggs and shrimp fried rice. The scallops were just air inside of it and fried up , the chicken didn't taste right wasn't even chicken. I felt uncomfortable and my boyfriend got very sick w diarrhea. Never again !
