We stopped by Chung Xiang Chinese Restaurant on a recommendation for good fried rice. There were no other customers in the restaurant when we got there. However, the two people working behind the counter were on the phone taking mobile orders. There are two kiosks available for ordering. I started to order on one of the kiosks when one of the workers who had finished on the phone asked if she can take our order. We ordered and paid. We were told it would be about fifteen minutes so we decided to go next door to Publix and then return for the food. Upon our return, there were other people waiting in the restaurant. Our food was ready shortly after. We gathered the box that everything we ordered was packed in and left. The Fried Rice was as good as suggested. It had the vegetables and sprouts included. The Krab Rangoons had a generous amount of filing and were delicious. The Tofu was also tasty and flavorful. It was served with mixed vegetables and cooked well. I would definitely return and order again from Chung Xiang Chinese Restaurant if in the mood for Chinese cuisine. read more

My family and I have eaten at Chung Xiang a few times, and we have always had good experiences. The food has always been fresh and delicious, the service is friendly and accurate, and the location is clean. We ordered the steamed dumplings, and krab Rangoon, a thai tea, a hunan beef, and a general tsao's combination. The dumplings had a wrapper that I think was too thick, but the filling was delicious, and the sauce pairs well with it. The krab Rangoon were crispy and fresh, just your typical krab Rangoon. It was the first time I tried their thai tea, but it was delicious, and I would definitely order it again. The hunan beef was spicy, and the variety of vegetables with it were yummy. The general tsaos chicken was crispy, had a decent amount of spicy, and was a very generous portion. The whole meal was scrumptious and was enough to have leftovers for the next day. Easily my favorite Chinese take out so far in a large area. Good portions with lunch special for $6.85. The Chicken with Garlic Sauce has sliced chicken, well cooked large pieces of pepper and broccoli. The General Tso's is a bit sweet, but well done. You can ask for anything spicy and they'll actually come spicy with large dried chilis cooked in. The pork fried rice is also a highlight with noticeable pieces of pork, bean sprout, and other vegetables. When we picked up our order it was nicely arranged in a box, making it super easy to take it home, so my first impression was already wonderful. Then I tried the food. I ordered General Tso's Chicken with an order of fried wontons. The chicken was absolutely delicious! It was all white meat chicken, which really impressed me, and the sauce was just perfect. I always get vegetable fried rice and spring rolls which are both pretty good. Unfortunately, the customer service is bad and they charge you for anything extra. You could order a large meal ( example: 2 large fried rice, One Large white rice, and meat of your choice) and it'll only come with 1 sauce. If you ask for more, they say you have to pay because they only include 1 sauce per order no matter how much food is in that order. If I'm buying TWO or THREE large fried rice, why would you only give me ONE sauce?? On top of that, their customer service is bad. It seems like the two younger girls that work at front always have an attitude despite me being a consistent customer. I tried to ignore it but the last time I came their attitude was too much that I decided that will be my last time. Overall their food is good but it doesn't outweigh their bad customer service. Then I found the second, so I searched the rest and found the third piece. Had to toss a whole plate. I get mistakes happen, but it's like they dug my meal out of the kitchen trash or something.
