Food and service was 10/10 I went with my family out to dinner here. I highly recommend! The food, service and ambiance was enough to come back. The pan fried wontons were sooo flavorful and crispy. The Szechuan wontons are my favorite, the perfect heat, flavor and the softness from the noodle is mouth watering perfection. General Tso's chicken was fresh and actually had more chicken than breading ratio. Which is a strong plus. Only thing is next time I'll ask for more of the heat in the General Tso's to be spicer.

Chuan fu does Sichuan justice! Everything we got was super flavorful and the perfect amount of spice. Their menu has such a wide variety and I want to try them all! Literally everything we got was so delicious. I was a little worried that everything would be the same flavor considering they're all spicy and in some sort of chili sauce, but they each have their own distinct flavor.

I generally eat at the strip mall Chinese fast food places, but sometimes I want to sit down and have a nice quality meal in a nice atmosphere with proper table service. I happened to find Chuan Fu as I was with my wife at her doctor and we were craving Chinese after her appointment. I found this place and decided to give it a try. We went for a late lunch; we were the only ones in the restaurant. We were greeted and seated with a smile. We were given menus and water, and we both requested tea; our server brought us each a pot. We perused the menu, and I ordered Hot & Sour Soup, which I always use as a reference on how the food will be. I ordered General Tao Chicken, and my wife had Beef with Hot Pepper. I was intrigued by the "Signature" Pork Fried Rice, so I ordered that as well. had me and was phenomenal! Off to a great start! Then the mains came, delicious and fresh! The fried rice was very different, and very good- you could taste the cured pork! My wife's beef was delicious as well. The portions were huge and we both took a to go box home with us. The menu is quite extensive and we will definitely be back to try more!

My family and I have been to Chuan Fu in Winter Park, Florida 3 times now, and each visit has been such a good experience. We really enjoy coming here together because the food is always authentic, flavorful, and satisfying. We ordered the fish, beef, shrimp, tofu, hot pot, fungus salad, and kidney, and everything was absolutely delicious. Every dish tasted fresh and full of authentic flavor. The hot pot was especially comforting, and we loved having so many different dishes to share as a family. It is always nice finding a restaurant that feels special and stays consistent each time you visit. We highly recommend Chuan Fu if you are looking for delicious, authentic food to enjoy with family.

We went back a 2nd time for a date night! Even better! Plus, we tried a new meal! We went on a Sunday night since we had Monday off and the restaurant wasn't busy at all. Plenty of parking this time around and we sat down immediately. I highly suggest coming on a Sunday. The staff was great and we had a wonderful time! We got three things and ended up paying around $70.

I've heard a lot of good things about this place so I came to check it out with my friend for dinner. The inside of the restaurant is nice and clean. Our server was so nice and helpful explaining the menu to us. We ordered the Sichuan Wontons and the Beef w Hot Pepper. The wontons here were so good! I wish we ordered more. We enjoyed the Beef as well, it had good flavor. It was a tiny bit chewy though. I do want to come back here and try some of their other menu items. If you come here make sure to order the wontons!

We stopped by Chuan Fu for an early, easy dinner around 5-ish, and the place was pretty empty when we arrived. By the time we were leaving, it was completely packed which says a lot. The service was great from start to finish, and the food was even better. We ordered some wings, sesame chicken, and house special fried rice, and everything was delicious. Each dish was full of flavor and so yummy. This is definitely a place we'll be coming back to. We're excited to try more from the menu next time.

Love the Sichuan flavors here. Spicy beef and chicken are fire. Love the chili wonton. Had the cold pork belly in chili oil for the first time and it was awesome. We got here Saturday around 530, seated right away, but after that the line started to build. For lunch the service has always been superb, during the busy dinner rush they got behind a little, but not a big deal. Everyone is very helpful and friendly.

I did not like the food here. Many Chinese restaurants will marinate beef with baking soda to tenderize it, and it creates an almost velvety texture to the beef. However, the beef here was marinated with way too much baking soda. The beef felt too squishy and had no chew, and the texture was a bit nauseating. The flavors here were also extremely reliant on sodium and MSG. Everything was really salty.

Best fried rice? You're looking at it! This is the only restaurant in town serving cured pork fried rice. It's a simple looking dish, but that cured pork adds a bold, smoky flavor and aroma like no other. I've ordered this dish numerous times, and it's a dish I never get tired of. It pairs well with other dishes as well, one of my favorites being their stir-fried shredded pork with bamboo shoots. Salty, savory, and perfectly nuanced by bell peppers and bamboo shoots, I typically order this dish to go since the quality remains the same whether you eat on site or microwave it the next day. I also like to order their cold cut couple, which is a cold dish consisting of beef tender, beef tripe, and beef shank in chili oil, topped with cilantro and peanuts. While the dish may be soaked in chili oil, don't let appearances fool you. It's not spicy at all, but is packed full of rich umami flavor that goes really well on rice.

We came hungry, left happy, and maybe just a little bit numbed by chili oil (in the best way possible). We ordered a TON of food to sample. 夫妻肺片 - Sliced Beef & Ox Tongue in Chili Sauce Yes, it literally translates to "Husband and Wife Lung Slices" (romantic, right?). But don't worry,it's beef tendon and tripe, not lungs. Cold, spicy, tangy, and salty. Basically Florida's answer to air conditioning in appetizer form, incredibly refreshing. Chili Oil Wontons (Michelin Bib Gourmand) These little pockets of joy lived up to the hype. Not too spicy, just the right numbing kick, with a vinegar tang that made me want to drink the sauce straight. Honestly, I'd swim in it. 水煮鱼片 - Fish Fillet in Spicy Broth Childhood comfort food unlocked. The white fish is so tender it basically melts, soaking up that hotpot-like broth. Spicy, flavorful, and a hug in a bowl, if hugs came with chili oil. Cabbage Tofu Soup Simple, light, and refreshing. The perfect palate cleanser after swimming through a sea of Szechuan oil. Stir-Fried Pork Chitterlings Don't let the name scare you, these are crunchy, chewy, spicy, and absolutely addictive. They managed to take out the "funk" and keep all the flavor. Probably my favorite bite of the night. My wife, who normally doesn't like chitterling dishes, actually enjoyed this. Crispy Duck Meal Here's where my taste buds split. The duck was well-cooked, crispy, and paired nicely with the sweet chili and pepper dips. But it leaned oily and a bit gamy for me. Not bad at all, just not my preference compared to the Cantonese roasted versions I usually prefer. Definitely encourage you to try it for yourself as this is another popular dish here. The Service Shout-out to our server, who was incredibly kind, attentive, and gave spot-on recommendations that made the meal even better. The food was amazing, but the service made the whole experience shine. The Price The dishes are definitely meant to be shared between 2-3 people but can still seem a little pricier than other Chinese places. I personally think it is totally worth it because of the quality and authenticity of the food. It's seriously hard to find authentic Szechuan dishes executed this well in Orlando so id gladly pay these prices. Final Verdict Other than the duck, every dish here was the best version I've had in Orlando. Solid 5/5 across the board, duck gets a respectful 3.5/5 but executed well with great technique. If you're like my wife and don't really eat much rice, some dishes might lean salty. Most Chinese food was made to be paired with rice to balance the saltiness, so just keep that in mind. Definitely taking friends and family here whenever they visit and adding it to our regular rotation.

Loved the food. My favorite is the Sichuan wontons, pea shoots and Twice cooked pork. The duck wasn't what I thought it was going to be but just ok. The server was helpful with the menu and suggestive. The restaurant was big , clean and decorated as themed. I totally recommend coming here. The food isn't too spicy unless you want to be.

So if you're a long time Central Florida resident, then you know that street is very walkable and super cute with the park nearby but also high end. I mean it has a Williams Sonoma, like casually. The restaurant is located at 525 S Park Ave, Winter Park, FL 32789. My boyfriend did get the reservation I think about a month in advance. It very much surprised me as one of my goals is to try new places in Orlando, and this was one that he had been to that I hadn't been to. So A++++ for him. So the restaurant had a super nice atmosphere but was very booked out. There were heart balloons at every table. So the decor was absolutely in the room with us lol. The service was very nice and I feel that they were very attentive and almost felt like maybe they had been trained to provide a certain feeling to customers. I'm sure they had been. Getting into the food, I'm not sure what the bill was. I wasn't allowed to look at it. I will say that I'm sure it was at least $100. I did leave feeling very full, but I do feel like that's a lot of money for me to feel full. We ordered the Misoyaki Butterfish, which was a Miso-glazed Chilean sea bass on a plate with ginger-sake eggplant, butter garlic sautéed spinach, and Japanese potato purée. It's a large plate and we did share, but it was not the whole fish. I think if I pay $45 for a fish, I want the whole fish. My rating is 8.5/10. It was incredibly delicious, but I want the rest of my fish. We also got the Kanpungi, which was fried Korean style boneless chicken bites smothered in a spicy soy sauce glaze. My rating of this is 9/10. I think it was great and was very filling for an appetizer. We accidentally ran into our friends at the restaurant, who had sent us a bottle of sake. The sake was great. We sent back a non-alcoholic cocktail they had and a sake based cocktail. I couldn't tell you what it tasted like, but the service presented and delivered back and forth between our table in a manner I can only describe as carrier pigeon-esque. They did great. I love fanfare. I think for a first date, this is a great place to bring someone you have been talking to for a little bit and want to show that you have a good stable job in this economy and like foods outside of American food. I wasn't on a first date as a note lol. My overall rating is 7.5/10. I mean I think everything was great, but that price stabbed me a little. My boyfriend did suggest to me that it would have been a higher rating if we had gotten one of the rolls. So that's on me. It is in a great walkable neighborhood though. So you are getting charged for ambiance.

The tofu was very soft and not my favorite in terms of flavor, but everything else in the Spicy Creamy V Ramen was delicious. I also tried the Impossible meat bao, but the texture of the meat was a bit too firm or overcooked for my liking, especially paired with the soft bao bun. That said, I would definitely come back to try other items on the menu, as there are so many options to choose from. Our server, Carl, was very friendly and attentive. I visited on a Friday evening, and the ambiance was relaxed yet lively, with plenty of groups enjoying dinner or drinks at the bar.

Lots of Sichuan cuisine options as well as some soup dumplings and unique cold appetizer dishes. We started with spicy chicken gizzards. Sliced thin and has a nice chewy texture, this app is refreshing and tasted great. Not super spicy which was perfect for me. Then we ordered the tea smoked duck. Nice big portion of duck with plenty of meat, fat and bone ratio. The smokey flavor is brought out in the meat and it was savory but not overly salty. The braised beef tendon casserole came out piping hot. Tendon was tender and easy to eat. Lots of rice vermicelli in it. Plenty of parking in the lot outside and conveniently located in the Chinatown Plaza.

The key test of the authenticity is how well they can do Dan Dan Noodles and they did very well with this classic dish-subtle flavors, the right amount of Sichuan pepper as well. Good dumplings and cold noodles, too. The space is small, no-frills, and I would guess much of their business is done in take-away as well. However, there is enough room to dine there in comfort and the staff is prompt plus also seems truly interested in their customers enjoying their food. I highly recommend it for casual Chinese right in the heart of Orlando's little Chinatown plaza.

The service is always fast and the food is fresh and delicious. Pro tip. I order in advance before arriving and it's ready when I get there. There are always good tunes playing and the restaurant is modern and clean. Lots of tables even though it's not a huge space. I usually get the build a bowl with glass noodles, the Korean fried chicken and a medley of veggies. It never misses. It's a good sized portion so I never leave hungry. Must try and worth the drive.

Think of it as the Korean version of Chipotle. Glass noodles and the marinated mushrooms were good; kimchi and bulgogi I've had better, more flavorful; overall flavors were more muted and slightly less salty than equivalent restaurant experiences, so probably healthier for you. Limited menu means they have a straightforward build for you. Cold ingredients added at the front; the kitchen does the warm/cooked ingredients, so the service speed is a bit slower than expected but probably good that they're making some of the proteins fresh, at least.
