A friend of mine grew up in this area and warned me against this place. I was pumped he was wrong because this is now super close to work. First the down side: I wish the drive through was on the other side and I wish they had deliver. Only one of those can be fixed so thus the reason for 4/5 stars and the both of these desires are out of my own sloth. Here is the good: The food is delicious. My favorite cold buster is hot and sour soup and there egg rolls. My coworkers are also fans of the cashew chicken and sesame chicken. I usually call in my order and they have always been punctual. They are affordable and they staff always joke along with me. And finally, they have a punch card. Who doesn't love a bunch card? Oh, they are closed sundays so stock up on Saturday like I do. read more

The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. I wasn't certain that the food would be good, because of the location and building, but this place is a testament to not judging a book by it's cover. I had the General Tso's chicken and it was excellent. Some restaurants make it too sweet and some make the chicken soggy. This was perfect. I will definitely come back. read more

I have been here multiple times, it is one of my parents favorites. I have only had the cashew chicken, but it is by far my favorite place to get this entrée! I am not a super adventurous eater and I don't like spicy food too much so this place is great for me. It looks a little run down, but the food is good an the people are very friendly! I used to work across the street from this place, which is how I discovered this hidden gem. Great for a quick lunch stop, or a casual dinner. If you are looking for something high end, this is not your place. But if you want to pop in somewhere and be pleasantly surprised, this is your place. Honestly this restaurant has the best Chinese food in Utah. The cream cheese wontons are very very good. I like to get the tangerine chicken/tofu (they let you substitute tofu for chicken) and my husband likes the general Taos chicken. The staff are friendly and refill drinks promptly. Definitely good food, better than other fast food Chinese options for the same price. I didn't realize it had a drive through...that's going to turn in a weakness for me I'm sure. We went in this time. The restaurant is small but clean. Staff was nice. It's always a good sign when the room starts to fill up at dinner time. Didn't seem to affect food coming out of the kitchen though. Our food came quickly. We had the Sesame Chicken and Teriyaki Noodles. I enjoyed both as did my husband and 5 year old. I was a bit disappointed when I tried their weekly special of green bean chicken and a side of egg rolls. The egg rolls were hard to bite through and the green bean chicken which is one of my favorites was the worse I have ever had. The chicken had a rubbery texture and harsh taste to it. Did they use frozen chicken? I won't be returning. On a positive side I have to say that the jasmine tea was good. Too bad, I have passed this place many times on the road but it looks like I will be passing it again from now on. read more

Absolutely don't order takeout unless you want a mess! I have never had takeout where all of the sauces have leaked out of the container and into the bag as was the case here. I'm not sure if it's their cheap containers of if they were rushed, which leads to my next point .... drive through?? Why have a drive through if your going to ignore the customers in the car. Then we were met by a very rude lady who kept questioning my order, if it's on the menu then you make it, that simple. The only reason this place received two stars was simply for the fact that the food was tasty but the Kung pao shrimp was a little too oily for my taste. I hit the grill almost monthly. It's the best take out Chinese food in the valley. I especially like the Walnut Shrimp with broccoli and the mango chicken. They have plenty of seating but we always takeout. This is not "Chinese" food, but very good and consistent Americanized Chinese food. Even better is the price. I typically get 4 entrees with rice for under $40. It's enough for my wife and I for 2 meals. It can't be beat:) read more

Egg Foo Young is excellent. Light and crispy cream cheese wantons. The hot and sour soup is on point. (I didn't order this but the server brought us out a sample to try since we were new to the area and they are known for it.) Crazy cheap for the quality of food. We made it in time for the lunch special. My wife ordered the sesame chicken plate with egg drop soup and cream cheese wontons and I had the orange chicken plate with the egg drop soup and potsickers. The ham fried rice was hot and yummy, the sesame chicken was tender and flavorful. Also, the cream cheese wontons were very good. At 6.25, the lunch specials are a great deal. My family has been coming here for over 10 years it's our favorite. We get something that's not on the menu it's called savory chicken fire. Everything under $10 it's awesome. Highly recommend. Would also recommend sweet and sour or teriyaki chicken my wife loves the pineapple chicken. The most expensive thing on the menu is the walnut shrimp for $12. Everything else is under $10 most is $8 for the entree which is a hearty amount of food. They also have a drive-thru for all you to go people. My family usually averages 3 times a week. Love it. I have been eating at China grill for over 13 years.. I always use to love it, today I am disgusted with what was served to me, I picked it up through carry out. I told them that the lo mein had very little flavor and absolutely no chicken in it. Also the teriyaki chicken had very little flavor as well! I have never had a problem with either of these things in the past I called to tell them these things and they told me that there was nothing they could do about it because I had tried to pick the chicken out and make it a decent meal even though I told them I still had all the noodles and rice left so they could have seen how little flavor was involved I really did always respect this restaurant until today but as it has gone so downhill I can't imagine I will be back soon.. The pot stickers were still as great as I wanted them to be.. I hooe it was an off day with poor service and that the whole restaurant had not gone too down hill! read more

Ive been here twice now, first time was on a val-pak discount. I liked it enough that I went back, and will probably be back. It really is quite tasty, nice cozy atmosphere. The outside of the store looks kinda dumpy, but dont let that stop you from trying their food. It's clean inside and like I said the food is pretty good. Tried this for the first time so we got a variety of things and I must say this is the worst Chinese food I have ever had. The shrimp fried rice was mostly grease same for almost everything else. Teriyaki noodles oily and had a strange bitter taste. Fried shrimp again all grease. Egg rolls soggy and inedible. They also use ALOT of MSG. read more

We ordered the chinese chicken salad which consisted of hunks of iceburg lettuce bland pieces of chicken and 1-2 huncks of tomato along with some soba noodles on top. The dressing was good and they provided a good amount in a cup so you could apply as much as you wanted.
