The menu has plenty of options, but we decided to focus on the dumplings and noodles. We started with the soup dumplings. They were good, but this might be a me problem. I always want soup dumplings to be better than they end up being, and I inevitably break them open and lose all the broth before I can enjoy them. If you're a soup dumpling expert, you'll probably have a better experience than I did. The real star of the appetizers was the pan-fried pork dumplings. They had the perfect crispy exterior while still being tender and juicy inside. Add a little dumpling sauce and chili oil, and they become downright addictive. For my main dish, I ordered the beef noodle soup, and it was exactly what I was hoping for. The broth had great flavor without being overly spicy, the noodles were perfectly cooked, and the beef was incredibly tender. It was comforting, satisfying, and filling without feeling heavy. This is one of those places that proves you shouldn't judge a restaurant by its location. If you're looking for delicious dumplings and a bowl of noodle soup that hits the spot, this place is worth the visit. Noodle and Dumpling has an authentic Chinese taste. The Xiao Long Bao are freshly made and not from frozen pre packaged. I would say they stay true to their name and the best dishes are the noodles and dumplings in comparison to other menu offerings. Service is standard and value is good on some dishes and okay on others. If you're craving an authentic, consistent taste for XLB, this is a good spot to come. PLEASE BE AWARE - CRITICAL FOOD SAFETY RISK We ordered the Pork Soup Dumplings, Beef & Onions Steamed Buns, and Edamame. Unfortunately, the pork inside the soup dumplings was served completely undercooked and raw in the center. When I brought this to the staff's attention, they apologized and took the dish back. While they clearly discarded the specific dumpling I had bitten into, the remaining dumplings they brought back out to us a few minutes later felt tough and rubbery, as if they had just reheated the rest of the undercooked batch rather than making a fresh plate from scratch. Trying to salvage undercooked pork that has already left the kitchen is incredibly unsafe. Because of the raw pork and the questionable food handling practices, I have decided to report this restaurant to the local health department. This place is so good that my husband and I went back before I could even write my original review. I had seen this place on social media and knew I had to try it when people compared it to din tai fung. Over both visits we tried the braised beef noodle soup, the orange chicken with fried rice, pan fried pork buns, and the pork soup dumplings. All of it is AMAZING. They are hand making the noodles and dumplings and it shows in the quality. They are so delicious and I could eat them over and over and enjoy them!! I'm not normally a fried rice person but theirs looked so good I tried it and actually loved it. I loved it so much I ate it as a leftover the next day. They have a stellar Diet Coke brew. Super super crisp. Also, I asked for a refill at the same time I asked for a box/the check, and they brought me the refill in a to go cup without me even asking. Okay customer service!! *snaps* The inside is really cute with tables for smaller and larger groups. They have a bunch of fun neon signs. He greeted us, sat us down, took our order, served us, took our payment, and then gave us stickers at the end. The food was so tasty. Brought my out of town visitor's to try this spot. When we arrived that evening there were only 2 other parties seated. No one greeted us so we were unsure if we should seat ourselves or wait. My guest saw a sign at the P.O.S. machine that stated "wait here to be seated." A server came out from the back kitchen and saw us. He finished serving the other diners and then seated us. We got our order in and shortly afterwards it began to get busy with more diners. Upon observing there was only one waiter. He started to get overwhelmed and the customer service began to decline. We were very patient as we knew it wasn't his fault. He was host, server, food runner, busboy, cashier. All on his own. He did the best he could. All with a smile on his face! My soup was very delicious. A flavorful broth, tender beef, and perfectly cooked rice noodles. The dumplings were good, not the best I've had, but good. I would like to try more food items on this menu, but I don't think I would go out of my way to return. Especially if the service takes as long as it did on this visit. Despite this, the service we received was friendly and the one gentleman covering all the tables was working incredibly hard. The restaurant itself isn't very large. I'd say there were about a dozen tables at most. The decor is very bright and cute. The food was delicious. Great flavors and a great menu. Our soup dumplings were a bit overcooked making them very very flimsy. Other than that, everything else we ordered was fantastic. The portions were generous and the prices were fair. Dan Dan noodle - loved the flavors spice level mild so added garlic chili oil condiment on the table . The noodles are the perfect thickness and tons of meat ! Great flavor Soup noodles w/ pork belly - the pork belly is braised in Chinese spices and very tended - soup is full of flavor and again loved the noodles. Ordered dumplings but it was late in the day and was sold out. We'll be back as we loved the authentic flavors of their noodles and soup. The general tso's chicken had great flavor, but the chicken was very old and tough and over-cooked and was very difficult to bite through. The green beans were on the saltier side. The dish came with a side of rice to ease the saltiness. The green beans were nicely fried - had a good crisp without being burnt or soggy. The chocolate "soup" dumplings were yummy and a great dessert choice. Please know that they are VERY CHOCOLATEY! One bite felt like being hit with 10 chocolate bars at the same time. That's not a bad thing; it's just the chocolate flavor is definitely there and heavy haha It's semi sweet chocolate so a bit dark. My leek delicacy dumplings were super good and soft! Before ordering them, I asked our server what is in them other than leek. She did not mention any meat, but there is definitely meat in it; I think pork and shrimp.
