Yeah the service here sucks, like most of reviews said. I was taking my time figuring on what I wanted and when I was ready, the lady at the counter was taking my order while ringing up and giving another customer prior to my order. It could waited for me to place my order. Also I asked for hot oil since I like to make myself spicy and she said 50 cents, so I give her two quarters, than she mutters something about how is 60 cents two quarters, I mean seriously going to bust my balls over you telling me the wrong price. Purchased a 15$ meal and rather a thanks I get attitude, also give me a look when I asked for a fork, to eat my meal with, kind of funny the guy before me they automatically give him utensils a chopstick, but me nope. Honestly the food was great, the triple delight all shrimp, pork and beef was cooked perfectly and the sauce was savory and not cheap on it. But I will say way too much veggies over meat. White rice was good no issue. My review being three is mostly for the food being great, but the service nah they get a one. They should be grateful to get business considering the main draw of the plaza was ShopRite and now that out of business it's pretty deadman's land over there. read more

We have been their patrons for the past 17 years. We are Seasonal Campers in Greenfield Park and always place our orders by phone. When we arrive they are always ready when we get there. I must agree they weren't very pleasant in the past, however we noticed a big change lately. Their food is always pleasing, never disappointing. Love their soups too. Sadly their business has fallen off a bit since Top's has moved there, however that will not stop us from going there. We highly recommend them to all loving Chinese Food. read more

Surprised to see so many negative reviews. I'm Taiwanese and I can say their food is delicious! We came here twice in two days to get take out. Everything we ordered was very fresh and delicious and the sauce they used was honestly not overly sweet like some Chinese take out places. Their hunan beef was awesome and so was their lo mein and their beef Chow fun. Ohh and their steamed white rice was soo yummy! Tasted like the nice quality rice that are usually used for sushi rolls. Prices were very reasonable and the portions were generous. The woman behind the counter was more than friendly. This is mot a fancy place so please don't come expecting anything. I'm not totally proud about this place. They certainly can get your order, right. They speak a little differently, so it's harder to understand that. They're also kind of inappropriate. We were on the way to get our food. They inappropriately ask where our location was. Then we told them we were on the way, and they told us to hurry up and they were very rude. the food was delicious I think, disregarding personal information. I really should of not bought any food solely by the cleanliness and most disgusting personality on a human being. The woman who took my order was unbelievably rude. We went to China house in ellenville ny just now to get some food. We spend alot of money there so when we were starting to order the lady said no lunch specials , it was only 12 pm so I asked the rude lady why I could not order a lunch special and she acted like she didn't understand me and mumbled so I asked her again and she yell throwing her hands around " everyone coming to order today we only place open " so.obviosly we left i mean how do you have menus sitting right on the counter and in big letters it say lunch special until 2pm so she said we had to order dinner special which is likealmost 3 dollars more per meal so we left. How can she just change prices one day we just ordered aame lunch specials a few days ago. Crazy how she is ripping people off , taking advantage and on Christmas. Terrible! The fried rice has the worst sour weird taste; I literally couldn't stomach it. The chicken lomein also tasted very weird, edible but not worth giving a second chance and the egg roll was undercooked and soggy. They didn't put any napkins or anything in my bag and when I asked for duck sauce and soy sauce she didn't seem thrilled and gave me 1 of each. I've been coming here for about 15 years, and I've never had a bad experience with the service or food. The opposite actually, the food is always fresh and prepared well, and the service is friendly. I am surprised at the other reviews of China One on Yelp. I'd also like to add that the owners of China One work very hard to run their business, and they do not deserve to get a bad review, especially over something as ridiculous as a left over dish smelling like cabbage the next day. Whoever these people are writing bad reviews must have never had Chinese take out before. Ordered one menu item then added 1/2 cooked chicken to put in with my dog's food, Picked up and was charged many dollars more than listed menu prices. Worst food I've ever had!!! Avoid this place. Ordered sesame chicken diner special because I love the steamed broccoli it comes with. The egg roll had almost no filling and was actually flat due to lack of filling. It was SO GREASY! There was a tablespoon of grease in the bottom of the bag. Really! There was only one piece of broccoli and it was under the chicken. It was frozen and heated by the warm chicken. I use the term chicken loosely, as it was breading with chicken in there somewhere. The sauce was overly sweet. The fried rice has only a few peas in it, no other vegs. Also, this was the first restaurant I've even been in, including fast food places, where I could not get a glass of tap water. And the first Chinese restaurant that didn't have free hot tea or give me a fortune cookie. Bad food, no service. Do yourself a favor and find another place. Actually, any other place to eat. This was my first time ordering from here and it was absolutely terrible. The wife had a bad attitude over the phone while I was ordering (mind you I was nice and respectful the whole time). I called again because I forgot to ask them to call me when the food was done and the husband picked up who also seemed rude but when I went in, I realized that's just how he speaks in general. Food is beyond amazing. This is a family owned Chinese restaurant! Extremely friendly people highly recommended!

The food is fine if you eat it that day but I wouldn't recommend it if your planning on eating it afterwards. I have had food go bad from there in less than 12 hours time the first time I got a combination platter and the next morning the pork fried rice was bad. Thinking it was a one time thing I stopped ordering the combo and just got chicken and broccoli and the next morning it had gone bad smelled like garbage and was just horrible stunk up my whole kitchen. When I ask her why it is so much, she always claims they have a "new" menu. Every time I ask for delivery she tells me it would be faster if I came in, or they are too busy to deliver....SO TAKE DELIVERY OFF YOUR MENU!! I am literally 5 minutes from the restaurant. Lately we have been driving to Middletown where it is WAY cheaper and so much better tasting. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!! Food here is the real deal. They don't hold anything back. Any negative review has to be from someone who didn't even bring a problem to the staff's attention because they would right any wrong. Good people who want you full and happy. Good food made the right way. Anyone complaining about flat greasy egg rolls and "one piece of broccoli" seems to be omitting a great deal of information. When I do go here I assume it's owners are a family a very rude one at that, wife tends to ignore what you say and had a attitude from the start most of the time. I usually get a general Tsos combo which the chicken doesn't quite look like chicken it's really fatty and hard to eat sometimes way to much sauce and they dump it in the dish so it makes a mess.
