I Do agree with other reviews for here. The food was very good. Got the triple delight in garlic sauce and first all chicken and roast pork were cut very thick and plenty of shrimp and a lot of sauce, which other places can get cheap on. All veggies were pretty fresh and not cooked to mush. White rice was fine, not mush or dried out. For fried crab sticks, first place I been too, that wrap them in spring rolls then fry them as opposed to a tempura batter. It's better since it's more crab than fried batter. Overall worth the drive to try them. Also the staff was pretty friendly, it did not feel like I was bothering them to order, which other take out places give out that vibe.

As of March 2021. Top part of menu. Prices are higher than four years ago.

Pretty good. Lots of crunch in the Kung Pao Chicken lunch special. See my photos for the updated menu (as of March 2021).

SERVICE: College age servers do a nice job- My server, August, is friendly, attentive , and knowledgeable about the menu. He stated that my Allium allergy was not a problem. The food came out at a good pace and was very fresh. FOOD: The menu is a bit more extensive than the original location in Wappingers Falls, but I recognize most of the tried and true favorites: My order: Jasmine tea, SOUP DUMPLINGS: the same excellent flavor as the regular dumplings with very little soup inside. They are delicious but pricewise, I recommend opting in for the one dozen pork dumplings at 10:99 - a better value and the same flavor. Beef and carrot pan fried: Scrumptious!! One of my favorites. Shrimp and pork steamed $13.99 sweet, jut-right shrimp coddled in sweet sausage. Delicate and delicious! TO-Go for my daughter: MALA TANG- Shrimp, Quail eggs, vegetables $17.99 I'm hoping that they packed it well for travel Nice meal, Chef!‍ CONGRATULATIONS on your new location!

A small local chain, this place offers yummy homemade dumplings, noodles, rice and other Chinese…read morefood. The location is clean, modern and in a newer complex. Dumpling varieties included vegetarian, egg, pork or chicken, steamed or $2 more for fried. We enjoyed the chicken and cabbage and pork and chicken and chive (12 each) and it was enough of a snack for 3 people. Their menu has a decent selection so would love to return to sample other things. Pay cash to get an 8% "discount." Service was fine too. It has two entrances on opposite sides which is convenient if you want to explore other stores (Smoothie King, ramen, bunsen lab, Shake shack, etc) in the complex. Shop Rite and Home depot are also close.

I was driving by, and I saw the sign, and so I decided to stop for lunch. I'm definitely glad I…read moredid. It appears that they do a lot of takeout, as there were only three tables inside the restaurant. It's obviously a family run place, because of one of the children was playing with their toys off in a corner of the kitchen. I decided to go for the shrimp toast, appetizer, and the lunch, special of shrimp and lobster sauce with vegetable fried rice, and wonton soup. The food came quick, and it was absolutely amazing. The shrimp toast was crunchy, and had a lot of filling in it. You could definitely taste the shrimp. There were six of them in the appetizer, which was very generous for the price. I was going to take a few home with me, but I couldn't stop eating them. I finished off the whole appetizer. I loved the shrimp in lobster sauce. At first, I was confused, because it was like an egg drop soup with shrimp in it. I thought it was going to be a Brown sauce. Then I realized, that's what lobster sauce is I was confusing lobster sauce with oyster sauce. The soup was creamy, rich, and delicious. There were "only" four shrimp in the bowl. I say "only" because those shrimp were huge! They were tender and delicious, and a very generous portion. The fried rice had a good flavor to it as well the rice was not under or overdone, and they were generous with the veggies.. I ended up taking home some of my shrimp main dish, and all of my wonton soup. The wonton soup reheated, wonderfully, the broth was delicious, and the wontons were tender. With a large amount of delicious filling. The price for everything was absolutely reasonable. I would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you!

We got takeout for 8. Good dumplings, nice firm Edaname, sweet boneless ribs…read more The spicy dishes were properly spicy. The veggies were crisp. Lots of veggies in the meat dishes - good balance. Much better than average!

Amazing! Great authentic Chinese food! (Szechuan cuisine)…read more The owners are super nice if you eat in, but I usually get it door dashed over. Portions are large and the food is well cooked and fresh! I usually get the chengdu chicken, the beef with fresh hot veggies and the egg plant with garlic. Definitely I will. So the warm Dan Dan noodles were good, well spiced, but not overwhelming and noodles themselves were chewy. Sizzling shrimp, first huge jumbo shrimp so very generous on portions, plus cooked just right and bathe completely in the sauce, plenty of diced onions and peppers and mildly spicy over all. Chicken in chili oil was my favorite, I mean a whole cut chicken fit in that container, both white and dark meat, was tender and moist, plus the chili oil was just right spicy level without being assertive. This place I find special considering it's more of authentic Chinese cuisine rather than the typical Americanized version, that alone is a big draw for this place.

But it's not a big gripe because the food is always well seasoned even if it isn't peppery. Great service and friendly staff at this Sri Lankan restaurant…read more The manager/owner used to be a chef at the UN after traveling the world for various stints after leaving Sri Lanka at age 25. He will fill you with his wealth of knowledge of Sri Lankan food as well as how his food is pure and wholesome. Food was very good. I had Sri Lankan rice entree specialty dish. Except for the the shrimp tasting like dried shrimp - which I hate with a passion the rest of the dish was pretty good. No complaints from my other guests who enjoyed their meals. The dessert was great. They have both vegetarian (including goat, beef, pork, shrimp, squid, and chicken) and non-vegetarian options. It fell short of five stars for two reasons: 1. the dried shrimp or dried fish taste in the dish (shimp, calamari, and chicken); and 2. the moderately high prices (I can only compare to prices at Indian restaurants in the city, and what people are typically paying for the same portion size at casual sit down restaurants) Since we don't frequent this location often it is a treat to stop by every once in awhile and introduce my friends to it. If you are on a budget and consume large volumes of food to be full, this is most likely a one off or a place you may want to skip. Otherwise, enjoy it. On premise parking lot and seems ADA compliant. It looks like it is in a house, but inside it is comfortable and casual. It appears there is allot more local customers than visitors from out of town. The interior plays tourist information on Sri Lanka while the interior is also decorated in culturally appropriate ascents. We were there on a Saturday for dinner and the space was fairly empty - perhaps two other tables occupied. It is in sort of a remote area outside the main drag of Beacon most are familiar with (not within reasonable walking distance). It's worth a try, especially if you are interested in healthier forms of food (ingredients).
