It had a bit of a caramelized sugar flavor reminiscent of waffles with syrup. The spicy oil splashed noodles, one of the noodle dishes on the menu, was generally lacking: some nice toppings, but not much flavor. Overall, this is a nice little place that seems to be fairly well run. I suggest going for the dim sum and giving up on expectations for anything on the menu that isn't dim sum. Find another restaurant for your main course.

Dined there with my sister for the very first time. Did not know the place existed, but found it in…read morethe listings of restaurants in the area. The food is great, the people are extremely friendly and accommodating. We arrived for the lunch deal around 3:00 p.m. and were seated immediately and we stayed very close to 6:00 p.m. (not eating beyond the normal, but enjoying our conversation). The staff checked on us to see if we needed more water, they noticed that we were not still dining, but enjoying each others' company, we had paid our bill and were done eating. Did not bother us, or ask us to leave as the place started to fill up with dinner guests, we removed ourselves to the outside (no chairs there--but standing and chatting for at least another 15 minutes). It would be nice if there was a bench there to sit on outside; but the place is large enough that I don't really see the need for a waiting area that would require them to put in one (outside). Not one time did a staff member ask us to leave because we were NOT eating...we had come for a late lunch and good conversation. It was really rewarding to have a business ALLOW us to sit there that long and not continuously ask if we were done, or to leave. They definitely get my vote! I will be returning.
