The cream cheese won tons were really the only thing that was delightful and the egg rolls. Everything else was aaaaiiight. the pu pu platter was a little dry ( maybe its meant to be that way?), the veggie delight was covered with a semi sweet sauce (not fond of it) and just over all not a great impression over the food. Also it took 1 hour for the delivery to arrive. On the other hand, ordering the food was quite easy and the young lady on the phone was friendly and clear. No worries, we were ordering during lunch time on a Saturday so no biggie. We understood that being busy is part of the gig, well, she doesn't take our name or give us the total but she tells us food will be ready in 20 mins. We show up to pick up and are met with no order was ever placed. We say OK, wow. And walk out. This was our first time trying to come here and left pretty disappointed. I would never recommend anyone to order food from China House. We bought some rather mediocre food and discovered the next day they charged our bankcard 8 times. So we paid $305 for a $38 dinner. Saturday night when we ordered the food from China House, they never called us to tell us there was issues with the CC machine, but after I called them, one hour later they said the machine was not working-- so we said fine deliver it and we will pay cash-- which we did-- The next day, we found the 8 charges for the food on our bank account totaling $305. They told us to call the cops if we want, but they did not charge us this money and hung the phone up on me. I called about 8 times and could not get anyone to accept any responsibility for these 8 charges despite the proof from my bank account. They just kept saying they did not charge the card 8 times. Not only were they nasty to us-- but told us we were lying. NEVER use a BANKCARD here. They don't know how to use it and they don't care about the customer. We will have to dispute it with our bank. Which will take us 30 Days to get our money back. CHINA HOUSE is not a good place to spend money on food and honestly it is not good food either. What a dreadful experience it was for us. read more
