I was a little hesitant when I saw the Yelp rating; however, I went ahead and gave the restaurant a shot. I was not disappointed. The food tasted wonderful and the portions were large! ***Carryout Order*** The woman child decided she wanted Chinese food for dinner so we called it in. Food was ready upon arrival and the gentleman who assisted with the check out was friendly. The chicken was tender and the broccoli was at the perfect crunch level. Soggy broccoli is the worst! I came here as a kid and rediscovered online when I moved back in the area. Holy shit is it still delicious. The portions are INSANE for the price, so much food im full but I keep eating. It's dangerously good I can feel myself gaining weight. Ill eat here till the day I die. ALSO, excellent service. They're nasty! Make sure you check your food first before you live because they can give spoiled food, that happened to me twice. I will never go back there again. We used to love this place! We have been ordering here for over 8 years. They must have changed ownership though because the new service is terrible. Ordering was a disaster. They told us 30-40 minutes. It took almost 1.5 hours. When we called they said "sorry" and that was it. We told them it was unacceptable and the response was "well what do you want? Something for free?". Ugh. No we want good service like we used to have. And we want good food. We ordered what we usually order and it did NOT taste the same. Giving 4 stars for the simple fact that they offer boneless chicken and it was good! Rare to find a Chinese restaurant that carries this nowadays. Grew up eating a non-Hunan style Chinese food (not sure what type it was exactly, but def not Hunan) and it's so hard to find boneless chicken on menus. We ordered multiple dishes including Singapore noodles that was very good and kung pao chicken. The lo mein was not great, but not horrible either. I would say the standouts were the boneless chicken and the Singapore noodles. Given the amount we ordered, they could have thrown in some egg rolls (we were supposed to get general tso's chicken for free based on the amount, but we did not get it). I called in my order and I was quoted 30-40 minutes. After an hour and fifteen minutes went by, I got my food. We ordered General Tso's and Sweet and sour chicken combos. Usually with the SSC, there is a little bit of green peper and onion and maybe even pineapple. There was nothing. The flavor was so bland, I had a few bites and threw it away. The General Tso's was also pretty flavorless. We even offered some to our always-hungry dog (because otherwise we were going to throw everything away) and even he turned his nose up to it.
