Food is bottom tier Chinese fast food. I've eaten here twice because my kid likes their doughnuts, but there will not be a third time. it's been about 16 hours since I ate and I cannot get off the toilet. I have mild food poisoning and paid $70 for shitty food to get it. the dining room was 80%+ humidity both times I've been, and the food always tastes old and poorly prepared. We have gotten takeout from here 2 times. We were disappointed the first time (about a year ago), but tried it again yesterday. We got the orange beef and it was pretty tough and tasted of baking soda. I think they must tenderize with it, but maybe too much was used? The General Tso's chicken was jaw tiring tough and over cooked. The steamed dumplings had large brown areas on them, from maybe sitting out in the air too long before steaming? The egg roll was just ok. We didn't get the normal bag of crunchy noodles this time. We were hoping for a better experience this time, especially for over $40.00 + tip. To say this was the worst Chinese dinner I've had would be an understatement. Took family here for a post-Christmas dinner and was so disappointed. Food: being a buffet, I didn't try everything, but what I did have lacked any real flavor and appeared to be frozen items they simply threw into an oven and then brought to the buffet bar. Staff: our waitress, a young female, had terrible body odor so that was not pleasant. Restaurant: floors were extremely slick with some unknown substance mixed with moisture. My order was ok. Shrimp roll was nasty. Cabbage inside, or whatever it was, was old. My coworker returned her meal. Nothing was good. Fortune cookies were past stale. Hot mustard was brown color which means it's not good, old. Hot mustard on buffet was watered down and stale. Not going back. read more

This is a great neighborhood restaurant. The lady that runs it is so friendly and nice, also a great friend of the community. They have been faithful and hard working for over 30 years. I've eaten the buffet and gotten the take out both are great. The restaurant is getting a needed facelift but it is still open. Whenever I have gone the service is always friendly and helpful without bugging me to death. One of my favorite take out dishes is the honey chicken. read more

We live 30 minutes away we drove all the way over there to get dinner from that specific restaurant we got home starving couldn't wait to eat we opened the containers and to our surprise there was meat and vegetables in a bowl of straight grease it was not the normal juice that was supposed to be in it. The grease was orange i had chicken and broccoli he had pork fried rice and the beef on a stick was more like beef jerkey way to dry we threw $50 worth of food in the trash I will never go there again that's a promise the 1 star was for the fortune cookie worst Chinese dinner ever read more

Average food for takeout. Very nice staff at front desk. Ordered steamed pork dumplings. They were a little over cooked but not horrible. Beef and broccoli was average. Little chewy but good sauce and rice. Didn't care too much for egg roll. Again average but nothing excellent. Would go back for takeout again. read more

We chanced upon this place while driving from Montross to Tappahannock and took a menu. Before heading back, we phoned in our order. The order was ready slightly before the promised time. The food was well prepared, and the portions were generous for the price. I intend on returning. read more

Best Chinese food in town! The Hot&Sour Soup was my favorite. The buffet was very fresh with a good variety of dishes. You can always tell how good a restaurant is with the crowd. Even though it was pretty busy during dinner, service was excellent. I'll definitely be going back. read more

I tried this place when I was visiting home from NYC and my brother and I got ill from it. I took my sister there in December 2014 and it was cold in the dining room. I forgot what two entrees we had but one was a mediocre curry and mine was spicy but still rather boring. I ordered a pint of chicken fried rice last month and it was oily with old onions and not much chicken; overall there wasn't enough for 2 people; whereas 3 people could split the same "tastier" pint of CFR from Hunan Village. skip this place, go to Hunan, closed on Tuesdays now I think. read more

Did not like it at all! It was buffet only, which I don't care for and half of it was empty, the restaurant wasn't really too clean, the service was terrible and the food made me sick. I'll stick the other Chinese restaurant in town...I'm not a fan of having every other person that's eaten there sticking their head under the glass and breathing on my food. read more

I wouldn't eat here again if my life depended on it. We've ordered here twice within the last month and both times got spoiled smelling shrimp fried rice and the shrimp had a funny spoiled taste to it and still had the vein inside the shrimp meaning they were not cleaned and still had the shrimps feces inside. I've been eating here since I was a little girl and I'm very surprised at how low their standards have dropped. Being 9 months pregnant and having been served old Un-cleaned shrimp fried rice is a disgrace. I tried twice and was disappointed both times. I wouldn't even give this place 1 star. read more
