We are open and serving delicious food Wednesday through Saturday. Our current schedule has us starting our Wednesdays off in King George, VA at the old King George "Bingo Hall" located at 5769 James Madison Pkwy for breakfast and lunch. Thursday brings us back home to Montross where you will find us parked at Stan’s Skateland located at 17408 Kings Hwy for all-day BBQ service. On Fridays we make the trip into the Fredericksburg serving the 4-mile fork and surrounding areas. Finally, when it comes to Saturdays, we try to reserve them for special events but have no fear, you are special Montross and if we are not serving our neighbors elsewhere we will be set up in Montross at Stan’s. They had some tacos I was not used to seeing, such as smoked brisket tacos, sweet chili shrimp tacos and haddock (fish) tacos. I got a shrimp and haddock one for myself... OMG... they were bursting with the flavor and the aiolis (jalapeno and sweet chili respectively) were delicious with them -- you can see the other ingredients on the menu. It's o random side, yes, but I got the seaweed salad with them and was so delicious. I was quite satisfied from this meal alone, but I later on wanted to get nachos. I got an order of chicken ones, and... all the yes. I loved the chips, sauces and everything else that came with it. I don't know when I'll get to see them again, but when I do... I can't wait to try something new.

Perfectly smashed, full of flavor, and cooked just right. You can tell a lot of care went into crafting the menu, and the limited opening‑day selection was a smart move, it kept the line moving and made decisions easy. The atmosphere was another highlight. At one point, a to‑go customer ended up sitting with others when the place filled up, and it sparked a friendly conversation between a loyal customer from the previous location and someone brand new. The fountain drink options included Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Lemonade, Mr. Pibb, etc. I was told this was their new location and the interior looked nice. However, when the restaurant got busy, it felt very cramped given their setup. There was a good amount of seating, however not much room to wait for your order without feeling like you are standing in the way when all seats were taken. The drink station was also all the way in the back and becomes a one way path when it gets busy. The path to get from placing your order at the cashier up at the front, to the drink area in the back, got slim when busy since people were sitting at the tables and the bar. Although my first time here was a bit overwhelming given how busy it was, this place was a great option to get your smash burger fix! They also have other options including hot dogs, chopped cheese, tacos, etc. so there's something for everyone! I enjoy supporting local businesses and I'll definitely be back to try some of their other menu items!
