Had dinner at this place the China King .I guarantee you I will never eat there again . This place is dirty salt and pepper shakers were filthy so was the sugar container you don't even want to touch them. Bathroom doors and wall were also filthy. Don't pay at China King w a card, they upcharge you to the nearest 10th dollar, and my brother was triple charged tonight. They told us the total was $17 and some change and he got charged over $60. They all but refused to give him a refund until he caused a scene that made potential customers turn around and leave. Then they gave him a refund in cash even though he paid with a card. At the end of the day they still stole 9 unaccounted dollars from him. Sucks cause I loved China King. A mess. read more

I have heard for a few years now that the food is really good in this place but at the same time I always see violations that are published in the Casa Grande Dispatch that they fail the Board of Health checks... needless to say that is why it has taken several years of living here for me to try this place. I went during the week at lunch with my son to have the buffet. Price is good for what they have but honestly there is not much to choose from on the buffet. What I did get tasted very good and I was pleasantly surprised however the cleanliness of the booth we sat at was absolutely disgusting. We sat next to the window and the walls and curtains are covered in filth. There is old food on the curtains and walls, the salt and pepper and soy sauce containers are so covered in black filth you don't want to pick it up or put the contents of it on your food. The dining area is so dirty that you leads one to believe the kitchen area is probably even worse. Never, never will I ever eat here again and discourage everyone from going here. We order dinner to be delivered. After waiting 2 hours I called them to ask where it was. Whomever answer the phone just yelled at me and was very rude. She said it would be 10 to 15 minutes. We waited another 45 minutes and I asked where our dinner was and she replied it was ready for pick up. I paid a fee for delivery so why would I pay that if we were going to pick it up? I do not care at this point how the food taste, I will NEVER order from them. Our late lunch will now be dinner. We are disabled and very difficult to go pick it up. This place has really stepped it up since the new owners took over. The best part is the grill. Pile it on a plate and they will cook it up for you. Almost as good as the hibachi grill. The closest thing you'll get to it in town.This is our third visit since the new owners and it's just as clean as it was the day they reopened. read more

Place was dirty, used dishes everywhere. Waitress was pleasant enough, although was eating and chewing something. Buffet was luke warm, nothing great. My husband used the mens room right before leaving and said it was deplorable. I got sick the next day, and had stomach illness for three days. I called the Board of health. I NEVER drive past Casa Grande without stopping at the China King Buffet even though it's about 10 minutes off I-10. Where else can you get a wide variety of (all you can eat) tasty food AND a drink for $7.95? Staff is efficient, steam trays are kept full, and the place seems clean. read more

All I can say is Wow! I was up in CG for a ride and my father just saw this place as we drove by, and decided to just stop by, BIG MISTAKE! You walk in and have to pay first, which I can see why, I keeps you from walking out! They had about 6-7 dishes set up, that was it, none of which were labeled. The "lo-main" was flavorless and I have no idea what noodle they used. They had some sort of beef with broccoli and a few other things in it that was decent. The egg drop soup tasted like they had taken half a gallon of soup, and added 2 gallons of water to it, and the "egg roll" I spit out. You have to walk up to get a refill, even though they have a "waiter tip jar". I have no idea how this place stays open. I guess its good for them they are in a smaller town, no competition. This is best tasting China food in Arizona. The portions are large, with excellent pricing. It's well worth the drive from Phoenix.

This place is fawking amazing !!!! Travelers and passer byers, hobos and what not don't get it. It's NOT only a buffet, they have a long list menu and the food is made as you order, fresh. And amazingly delicious! My fav is the spicey mongolian beef and moo goo gai pan. People, the buffet isn't the end of selection on the menu, okay. This place is super tasty!!!! Well this was the last buffet in Casa Grande for Rand H. and I to try. The place is a little old and beat up but not to bad. The buffet was small for a Chinese buffet (about 25 items) and everything i tried was good. So for $5.50 I left the place quite full a pretty good value meal but if I had a list of Casa Grande buffets they would be at the bottom. Will I return? no. read more

Well I am not going to tell you it is the most fancy or fine dinning, But it is one of me and my friends favorite places in Arizona. The menu doesn't change this is true but there has been three other buffet places in Casa Grande and out of them TWO has closed. One had a larger and fancier menu and it was right next door. I have been going to this establishment for close to a decade. Owners are friendly. The place is dated but it is always clean. Ate at the buffet and found all of the food to be hot and tasty. We saw them continuously add new food to the buffet line even though most of the patrons were either leaving or had previous served themselves. However, there is a limited variety of food, but enough for patrons not to leave this restaurant hungry. The the price point for the luncheon buffet was fair no one should have any complaints. The most memorable buffet item was the hot and sour soup which was delicious and up to par with finer Chinese restaurants. Unfortunately the chicken was overcooked and was hard, plus it did not look appetizing. We recommend you try this restaurant is you want quick and fairly decent Chinese cuisine for $5.75 per person. The floor space has been drastically reduced, steam tables have been reduced by two-thirds, sushi has disappeared, food selection is what you would expect at Panda. Quality and presentation of food is terrible. I'm comparing it to what it was the last time I was in there. I tried to find out why they made all the changes, but there is a serious language barrier. My husband and I ate here today for the first time. We live in an RV and travel around the country and we eat at a lot of Chinese buffets. I can honestly say this is the worst one we've ever been to. Such a bummer. Drove from Tucson to meet a family member coming from Yuma for lunch. Of the two "troughs" of food, only one had anything in it. And nothing available tasted any better than what I could've bought from the freezer section at Walmart. We were all so hungry from the drive, but even our hunger couldn't make this food taste good - we reluctantly forced it down with disappointment. I feel sorry for anyone who enjoys this place - they must not know what good food tastes like. You should come to Tucson and eat at New Town China Buffet on Cortaro. this place is the best chinese food i have tryed!!! My wife is chinese and i would like to eat at this place just as much as her home cooken. If you ask for a meu they will give you one and you dont have to eat the buffet. they have cooks that have cooked in china for many years and the owners have other restruants in chandler and gilbert. the place has been there for over 20 years and the cooks have not changed. go there and eat as much as you like or ask for a menu. no haters pls. this place is great for the family and teams. read more
