I came to this little shop for breakfast on a Sunday morning while I waited for my son to finish a driving lesson. There is a lot of outdoor seating with various table sizes and chair heights. As I walked inside I was greeted by the staff behind the counter and I asked if I seat myself. The young lady behind the counter explained that I order at the counter, the menus were stacked by the register, and then can choose my table. The young lady was so friendly with a smile that lights up the room. I ordered Eggs Benedict with a large orange juice, and was offered 3 meat choices, bacon, ham or sausage, or all three. I decided to live a little and chose all 3. I paid for my meal and she was absolutely clear that tipping is completely optional, I really appreciated that. So many places with far below par service have come to expect tips. I was given a table marker and sat myself at a small round table by the window. Within a minute or so, another young lady brought my orange juice in a disposable cup. A few minutes after that, my breakfast was brought to the table. The sausage, ham, and bacon were all on top of the English muffins with poached eggs on top of that. Hollandaise sauce was slathered across the entire plate, it was luxurious! There were not potatoes included, but that is fine, as with the three meats it was very satisfying. I judge breakfast spots on how well they make Eggs Benedict, as not every place does it well, L'grande knocked it out of the park! The eggs were perfectly poached, not too runny. Every bite of my breakfast was incredible!!! This hidden gem in Casa Grande knows what they are doing and I sincerely look forward to returning and trying other menu options. The menu is massive so it was hard to decide what to pick but we both got the half sandwich half soup combo! The tortilla soup was our FAV part of the whole meal. I got the mediterranean sandwich and my Fiancée got the chicken pesto sandwich. Good priced and pretty good tastin (7.5/10) All the workers were so nice as well! read more

L'Grande Café was a convenient midpoint for a family meet-up while visiting Arizona, and it worked well for that purpose. The atmosphere was friendly and casual (very casual!), and they easily accommodated our party of five plus a baby. The menu covered all the breakfast and brunch basics (very basic!) --from acai bowls and burritos (which were more loaded with potatoes than eggs or protein) to omelets, or simply grabbing a latte--so everyone found something that suited them. The food is very fresh and delicious. A good place to grab a bite to eat. The wait staff is friendly and we enjoy dropping by when we can.

Stopped in on Sunday 04-19-26, at 11:00 and ordered 2 Acai bowls to go. Waited 30 minutes and nothing so asked the young man working the counter about our order. He stated he didn't know why it was taking so long. We got our order 42 minutes after ordering. This wait time is unacceptable considering our food did not contain anything that required cooking. Called in an order for pickup. Spoke to Timmothy. Ordered the BBQ Pork platter. Food was fantastic. Very hot and fresh. Meat was tender, the sauce had a good sweet flavor. The baked potato was cooked thoroughly and had good toppings. But the highlight was Timmothy. Super cool dude and a very hard worker, looked like he was doing everything on his own (besides the cook in the kitchen). He was hustling and taking care of everyone, literally doing 3 people's job. He had great customer service, and I see why his tip jar was stacked. Owners, Don't take advantage of this guy. Treat him well, not very many people work hard like him. read more

My son and his team had a super early soccer game a few weeks back in Casa Grande at Grande Sports Academy. We had a light meal and coffee before the game, but the boys worked up an appetite and by the time the game was over, the parents were also in need of a real meal. We found L'Grande Cafe on Yelp and decided to go check it out. We were all pleasantly surprised with the experience we had at this local gem. It's a fast casual concept so you order at the counter and then find a table to sit at -- either inside or out. We sat inside. We found the service to be attentive, the ambiance pleasant, and the food very delicious with generous portion sizes. I had a breakfast burrito with egg whites (which I so appreciated), and my son had pancakes and bacon. Others in our group had juice, coffee, acai bowls, salads, etc... there is definitely something for everyone on the menu. I would definitely return! read more

Should have listened to the reviews. I ordered a turkey panini. The outside had press marks but the meat was cold, the cheese was no where near melted. On top of that there was one other couple in and they got their order 15 minutes after we ordered. The girl behind the counter kept slamming things upset about something. Needless to say we won't be back. read more

Just returned and stopped in as always was good. Very disappointed. 25 minutes for soup and sandwiches. Only one other couple in restaurant. Soup was not hot. Evidently new owner or new staff. To many other places with decent service to come back here. read more

I have had better breakfasts on an airline. Not so Grand. Not sure why this place is so highly rated. Won't be going back. Service was prompt even though it looked like the place was run by high school students. We got the lite breakfast . Couldn't get fried eggs? So got scrambled. If I had to guess I would say they were powdered. Cold sausage patty was uninspiring. The accompanying scant portion of potatoes 0were also delivered cold. High point was the sourdough toast which was at least warm enough to melt most of the butter. read more

Stopped in last night for a sandwich as I was in the area and not familiar with food options near there. The gal helping me was very sweet and helpful. I ordered a prime rib dip but she said they were out of it probably because it was near closing time. Seriously no worries I told her. So I ordered the gyro. It was really good! The bread was light and fluffy. Sandwich was adequately packed full of yumminess! I ate it all! And it came with a crunchy pickle. Cafe was nice inside but I ended up sitting outside to enjoy some fresh air. Had a nice meal! I'll keep this one on my "Yes list" for the next time I'm near there. This place has really gone down hill! We loved coming here in the past. But this time from the moment we placed our order we could tell the difference. We ordered 2 prime rib paninis. The one I had before was so good. But the young man taking the order didn't know anything. He asked a co worker "Do we have that?" And then found it on the tablet and I left a tip when I paid for the meal. It took them 25 minutes to bring us our order. The beef was barely warm and not good beef, very stringy and chewy and tough! It definitely wasn't a panini. It wasn't pressed! The au jus was lukewarm! We won't come here again and management needs to do a lot of training!!!! read more

This is a nice little café. The staff is friendly and the food is good. It's a little pricey but worth it.

Brought my parents who were in form out of town in for my lunch hour. I was going to get a 1/2 blt and soup. They were out of bacon, soup, and ice. Multiple tables needed to be bussed as well. I was soo hungry for breakfast I didn't take a picture. Lol.. The latte's are pretty darn good, not overly syrup'd and the bean isn't too acidic but it's just right there. Highly suggest getting one. I nabbed the eggs bacon and toast and it was pretty legit. Everything was cooked just right and nothing was really overly cold when served to our big table. They little potatoes could have been cooked just a little bit longer for my taste but they were pretty good. Glad we stopped by to give this a shot. You should too! read more

the service was horrible, if you are going to have a dine in option, bring food out to people at the same time, we went in for breakfast i ordered a crepe and my boyfriend ordered biscuits and gravy, i was able to get my food and eat and then sit a while before his ever arrived, we just ended up getting a refund, waited over 30 minutes and never even saw the food. the staff had no energy and no drive to get things done. not a way a so called cafe should be ran, whoever is in charge needs to take a serious look at how they run things. read more

I had eaten breakfast here before. Great coffee and biscuits and gravy. I never ate lunch or dinner here. I went in on Friday evening around 7. A young, knowledgeable lady working the front greeted me. She reminded me they serve breakfast all day. It was hard not to order the biscuits and gravy. LOL. Sometimes you get inferior service from staff who know that a cheap order iš a tiny tip However this very nice restaurant has great food and great service! Came in with some friends who live locally. We were easily greeted and figured out the system of ordering and then getting food delivered to our table. I had an acai bowl, while my friends had egg dishes. Portions were HUGE for all three of us. The acai bowl (Sedona) was good, but felt mostly stored and frozen versus really fresh (like you find some places). The runners that brought our food had us confused with another group and were still kind of figuring things out (like a parfait they kept trying to give us) but overall it was a nice experience. By the time I was finished with the plate they brought me, they brought out my husband plate with missing items from both. After being charged extra. Came here twice while visiting casa grande and the coffee both times was tasty. Second time I ordered an açaí bowl and added kiwi on top and it was so bomb.
