I'm usually skeptical about different Chinese joints..very picky. However, I love that China King delivers, relatively on time, and on to post. The food can, at times, be moderately tasteless, but I find that it's when the food is ordered after peak hours. We just ordered delivery from here for the first time and for once it looks like we are living near decent Chinese Food. The customer service on the phone was excellent and our food arrived in the timeframe they had told us. We ordered the beef broccoli, pork fried rice, and mushu-pork. The first two were excellent really flavorful and not too greasy but the mushu-pork was not my favorite. It was mostly onions and dripping in sauce which is not what I'm used to with this dish. The "pancakes" we're really stuck together and not the the soft floury kind more sticky. Just not my favorite overall. We will definitely order from here again though since the other dishes and service was excellent. read more

I get take out frequently from China King and usually end up getting sweet and sour chicken with crab rangoons. Love it. I eat in sometime and enjoy their hot tea with lunch. Highly recommend them. They are fast and efficient and delicious. read more

We tried this place tonight, delivery to post. It took well over an hour to get the food, it was mostly still hot. The food was not terrible, but not great. I think we may be resolved to not have good Chinese food until we PCS some where else. I guess in all, if we are absolutely craving Chinese, we would order from here again. Rude employees. If you have something wrong with your order don't bother calling them. They don't care. They forgot my drink, messed up my food, didn't want to refund my money or bring me my drink then an hour later they called me back and told me to not call them again and to not order from them again. Really good food that is made fresh when you order! Love the Honey Chicken with fried rice. The price may seem a bit steep, but you get very large portions, could easily split between two people OR save for the next day's lunch. read more

Went into restaurant to place an order for two take out meals. The staff is cordial. The food was rather bland however. One of the cooks had long black hair, with nothing covering his head and hair. When we got home, we did find long black hair in one of the meals. The meal immediately went into the trash without being eaten. I would rate this a 1, based on their hygiene. read more

Terrible!! We ordered larges and there were "large" enough to feed my 2 year old. I even asked the lady if that would feed a family of 4 and she said oh yes. I called back up there and she said "everyone knows our sizes". It was our first time ordering from them because King House is closed on Sundays. We will never order from here again. While we do have options when it comes to Chinese restaurants in this area, it is hard to find quality. King House is the place I frequented for the past few years since Human Chopsticks went away. That isn't to say King House was good all the time, more often than not it was not so satisfying. Then I found this establishment decided to extend their delivery area. Granted I am only a couple miles away, how a company chooses their delivery lines can sometimes be a mystery. We ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken, and General Tso, with an order of crab ragoons. This place has revitalized my faith in the local Chinese food options. The food was fresh and the delivery was well within the time estimated. The help was friendly and there were no mistakes made. All of those things are fine and dandy, but if you're anything like me you want to know about quality. The food was hot and fresh tasting. The sweet and sour chicken from King House always needed time in the over to make it crispy, as well as finishing when it comes to cooking. That was not the case here. The food chicken was of good quality, the crab ragoons and chicken were cooked to perfection. The chicken was not gamey or funny tasting, which is a nice change at this point. The crab filler was creamy and very flavorful. In all the quality was great, and the prices were on part with anywhere else, if not better than many. Decent food. General chicken was good as was the fried rice. However the Hot and Sour soup was horrible.

I tried the General Tso's chicken, and it was like they got the recipe mixed up with sweet & sour chicken, discovered their mistake halfway through, and switched over to the other recipe, giving me the worst of both. The sauce was thick and cloying, very sweet but in a citrusy way that wasn't very appetizing. My wife went with another Chinese food staple, Kung Pao Chicken, and said it was the worst she ever had. Price for the two of us with drinks was over $20 for a place that serves you on disposable plates with cheap plastic forks, and asks that you order at a counter. Everything about our experience was awful except my Orange Crush, which met my standards for an orange soda well. read more

The worst cashew chicken I've ever had, The chicken was definitely not fresh. It was dry, hard and rubbery. The spring roll was awful as well. The only thing that was half decent was the fried rice. Very disappointed. read more

Their customer service sucks, they asked me, "what is your problem" when I called to say I got home with the wrong order then proceeded to tell me I'm wrong when I have ordered there numerous times in the past, and this time is was not good, not cooked all the way, and I spent way to much for how little I got. This place is a legit chinese food carryout. The best tasting I found in the Leavenworth/Lansing area so far. I ordered the General Taos chicken, pork lo mein, and two pork egg rolls. Everything was right on point in terms of seasoning. This will definitely be my new go to Chinese place while I'm here. Experimenting with finding a good place is over. My rating is based on customer service, the taste and quality of the food. The little eat in area could be a bit cleaner but I am only interested in carryout so I could really care less. read more

I ordered food from here a couple of years ago and it was "ok". Decided to give it one more shot today and regret it terribly. We were the only customers there (during the lunch hour), so that should have been my first clue. The staff were friendly, the dining tables were clean. I ordered our food for "here". While we waited for our order to come, two other men walked in, walked up to the counter and then changed their minds and walked out, my second clue. When our food came out, my toddlers' chicken fried rice was pitiful. Dried up pieces of chicken and there was zero flavor. My older son and I ordered Lunch Specials - Sesame Chicken and Orange Chicken. The white rice was fine, but the chicken and sauces were not something we could eat and we opted to not even try the crab ragoon that came with the lunch special. The only beverage options were either tap water, or hot water in a coffee pot that could be used to make tea, or bottled water and bottled sodas. The price was fine (had we been able to actually eat the food). We left with 90% of our order untouched. WON'T be coming back. read more
