    Egg drop soup.

My friend and I were up here from Springfield, MO. Now you have to understand that in Springfield, Mo they don't have cashew chicken. What they have is Springfield cashew chicken, which is not the same, nor is it wonderful at all. In fact finding decent Chinese food anywhere in Springfield is like searching for a needle in a stack of needles. In the middle of a hurricane. Naturally we are thinking where can we get some decent Chinese food that's not in Springfield, MO. and somehow we came up with next the Kansas City Raceway??? But don't let the geography fool you. This is some dang good Chinese food! Everything was wonderful. I had Kung Pao chicken, and my frield had just the regular old Cashew chicken. Boy oh boy did this just tantalize the taste buds with terrific taste! The waitress was super friendly and attentive, and it was nice and cool inside with plenty of seating. Definately a five star experience. So I guess the next time we're in Missouri and hankering for some decent Chinese food we're going to have to drive up to Kansas City!

This is my favorite Chinese place. I could and have gone here multiple times a week. My boyfriend and I always get egg drop soup and split the combination fried rice and the sesame chicken. The chicken is one of the crispiest ones you'll get. It's always hot and the sauce is the perfect consistency. The flavor is there but not overwhelming. Their fried rice is also to die for, as it's very moist and flavorful. They're generous with the amount of chicken, beef, and seafood you get as well. The egg drop soup and crunchy things is also a great way to start the meal. Their soup is unique and unlike other egg drop soups I've had but I love it. The service and consistency here never fail to disappoint. They're quick and friendly. We aren't too close to Red Fortune but the drive is always worth it. I'd recommend eating there if you get any of the chicken and want it at its top crispiness.

I lost my first tooth here. Now I'm 30 and whenever I go home I try to stop in. Delicious food. Nostalgic interior. Great people.

Asked for snow peas & beef & got snow peas & some other vegetables to go for $13 plus. What a surprise upon getting home.

The best Chinese. The Crab Rangoon and Egg Roll are the best I have ever had! Their fried rice is my favorite.

I enjoyed Khai Noy's Asian fusion flavors. We got the spring rolls, wings and soup -the tapioca noodles were new for us and the chewy texture was fun. All were tasty. This place is a really nice addition to the plaza area and has an equally fun/tasty drink menu. You can text your order from any table or order at the restaurant. And they text you when your order is ready just like Strang Hall in OP. Only bust was Strang Hall bar was out of both happy hour cocktails while we were there and they did not replace options...(not Khai Noy's fault- but a bummer none the less)

How do I even begin to put into words the level of gratitude I have for this place?…read more Chris, owner & chef of Khai Noy, masterfully introduces asian cuisine to the KC food scene with a true appreciation for the traditional cooking techniques that you can actually taste. Every dish we ordered today was matched with that authentic kick of tangy flavor, a signature of true Thai/Laos cuisine. What we got: * Khai Noy Noodles (10/10) The beautifully roasted veggies paired with the deep flavor of the broth and the flame-grilled chicken perfectly compliment the chewy noodles you get in every spoonful of this delicious dish. Oh my goodness, I fell in love all over again with every bite. * Banh Mi Sandwich with Pork (9/10) The marinated pork in this sandwich was to die for, and it melted together immaculately with the baguette, mayo (tasted just as good as kewpie), cilantro, and the pickled veggies. I only wish it came with MORE of everything, but that's just me in my "nursing-mom" stage speaking. iykyk. * Laab with Fried Chips (10/10) This was an off-menu dish that Chris introduced us to and my God was it delicious. THIS is what truly sold me on Khai Noy. I have not tasted asian food here in KC that tasted MORE authentic and true to the original flavors than this dish right here. Chef Chris REALLY knows his stuff. The food was just so good, I went up to have a chat with him after our meal. That's when we found out he had 10+ years immersed in the culture and cuisine of Thailand and Laos. NO WONDER! Just do yourself a favor and check this place out!
