Overall rate: If I could give half star I would because overall it's like 2.5-3/5 at best. But here are my reasons: 1. The price: the price at lunch for their lunch special is about $8 something, almost $9, which beats it in a lot of other places including fast foods. 2. After the price comes the portion: a meal comes with an egg roll or a soup. Which is pretty good for $9. 3. Menu variety: for $9, they have over 15 options to chose from ranges from veggies to meats dishes. 4. Service: service was super quick! We got our foods under 5 mins after order. 5. Ambiance: this restaurant is more of a food to go kinda place than eating in, but regardless it's very cheap and quick! What I don't like that makes it not more than 3 stars: foods were bland. The flavors are there but it needed a little more seasoning. The wok hei, the fragrance it's all there! Just need a little more heavily seasoning in my opinion! Would I come back? An order of tofu and vegetables is $6.38 according to their menu. They rounded up to $7. Okay. Then they did not give us one of the orders of shrimp egg rolls we order. They had 45 minutes before they closed and would not answer the phone when I called about the egg rolls. They are highly COVID phobic. So much so that they have the dining room sealed off and you pick your food up in a booth that manages almost no contact except for when they take the money or your credit card. The food was not that good and match that with their abysmal customer service and flat out thievery, they get the lowest rating I can possibly give. I will never eat there again. read more

Better than I thought it was going to be. I was a little worried about Chinese food in the Midwest, but this place was better than I expected. They only take phone orders, even if you are there in person (Covid downer). I ordered orange chicken, Chicken and vegetables, and beef Lo Mein (soft noodles). Everything was very good and made to order, which I like. The Beef Lo Mein is probably the best I've had, plenty of beef and flavor. Everything was cooked perfectly and I could even taste the orange in the orange chicken. I highly recommend this place. read more

They want you to call for pick up and have made it so there is a wooden structure by the door so you can only come in the entryway where you pay and receive your food with contactless delivery. The woman who runs the register and takes the orders is rude and unprofessional. When I called in my last order I explained that my previous order was incorrect. She was extremely rude and hung up on me while I was still talking. I didn't ask for a refund or ask them to remake it. I was calling in another order and simply wanted them to double check it. I have a big family and it's expensive. This place used to have my favorite hot and sour soup, but they've changed it. It's been watered down and the only flavor is red pepper flakes. It's unfortunate this is the better of the 2 Chinese restaurants in town. I don't think they deserve the business they get by default. read more

I ordered four dishes. one for someone allergic to Eggs. I told her three times, it has to be rice noodles as she is allergic to Eggs. Three times. waited for 15 minutes. not a bad wait. brought food home. opened the rice noodle dish( with veg and chicken) and it is full of scrambled eggs. I called the restaurant told her what I ordered and she remembered it. I told her it was full of eggs. she yelled at me that I did not tell her there was an egg allergy. I told her the reason for rice noodle dish was an egg allergy. she yelled at me that I never told her. she yelled to bring it back I said I was too far away. she hung up on me. A hidden gem. The beef lo mein, garlic chicken, and egg rolls were all delicious. This is your basic Asian food grease spoon, but all the dishes had their own flavor with ginger and heaps of beef in the lo mein. Garlic chicken we got with spice turned down, the veggies were crisp. Food is okay and the service is fine but the restaurant is very dirty. I doubt that the floor has ever been cleaned. The windows are smudged with grease and dust. It makes me wonder what kind of cobwebs are hanging over and falling into the food that is prepared in the kitchen. This use to be my favorite carry out restaurant in the area. The food is hit or miss now. The fried dumplings use to be my favorite appetizer. Now they are just gross. Fried dumplings aren't supposed to be literally deep fried. They are tasteless, rubbery, globs of oil now. To say they are horrible is an understatement. The vegetable low mein isn't as good as it once was. The main dishes are still good although with a different flavor from the past. If you are craving Chinese and don't want to drive far, the food is average and the price reasonable. Avoid the fried dumplings though!! Yuck!
