However for the cashier to think that it is okay to curse at customers is crazy. He's going to get the right one and we will be reading about it in the news. Best chicken fried rice outside of SF Chinatown I've ever eaten. And I don't like chicken

My BFF from high school was telling me about China Liu's and we decided to get lunch here for the day. It is located in a strip mall next to the Publix, and when you walk in, it is a window you walk up to to place your order. The order takes about 30 minutes to an hour, depending on how big your order is and how busy the take out place is for the day. The inside is strictly designed to be a take out place where you go to the window to place your order and pick it up from the window when it is ready. We went to Publix to go grocery shopping for about 30 minutes, and when we came back, our order was ready for pick up. We ordered the steamed chicken with veggies, kung pao chicken, General Tso's chicken and white rice, and crab Ragoons. Everything was wonderful like my BFF said it would be. The crab Ragoons were excellent! The steamed chicken with veggies was cooked perfectly and tasted great. The kung pao chicken was not too spicy, so I enjoyed it very much. The General Tso's chicken was wonderful. China Liu's is an excellent Chinese take out place and I highly recommend it if you are in the Lithia Springs area. They do it right! read more

But the reviews on here made me shy away. But OMG am I ever so glad I went. We ordered the boneless spare ribs combo with house fried rice extra onions, sweet and sour combination, crab ragoons and fried scallops. Everything was GREAT the fried rice was nice and hot with PLENTY of meat the boneless spare ribs were cooked perfectly. The sweet and sour combo came with a large sauce. The scallops were fried just right. And the crab ragoons where fried good too. Service was very prompt. By the time we ran to wendys for our little one and got some gas food was ready. Extra 20 minutes before we got home and food was still smoking. Will definitely be my new Chinese spot. All of these bad reviews. I don't understand. I am a huge foodie and Chinese food can be easily messed up. They have done outstanding during the pandemic but we have been going for 4 years. I've ordered quite a few things from the menu including house fried rice, shrimp egg rolls, chicken & broccoli and they were all pretty good. The other day I was in a mood & had a random craving for spare ribs from the takeout which is a very specific flavor. I ordered a small ($6) & it came with about 5/6 very nice size pork ribs. The sauce was sticky & sweet & truly hit the spot! One of my favorite take-out spots because it's right next to Publix and their order of crab Rangoon comes with 10 pieces so it's enough to share. I've noticed they can be quite inconsistent with their seasoning and spice levels. I've ordered the same entree several times and it was different each time I had it. China Lui's is one of the better Chinese take out places I've been to since living in Georgia (in comparing Atlanta and Savannah, I highly recommend here). They have seating inside, but it's primarily a take out place. They have large portions and everything I've had here tastes great. Some recommendations/faves/etc.: Every day of the week they have a list of lunch specials for just $4.95 between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., with options like pork chow mein, egg foo young, ribs, sweet and sour, lo mein, general tso's, sesame chicken, hunan, kung po, etc. They also offer a lot of steamed versions of food, with healthier options. Egg rolls and fried rice are run of the mill; wings are tasty; steamed dumplings are a personal fave; and the fried crab rangoon is different than I've seen from other places, but very good. Soups are all good - but don't expect chicken noodle to taste as such. Expect it to taste like wonton soup just with noodles and chicken in it instead of wonton dumplings. I love their lo mein, the noodles are really good and I like the way they cook their meats. You can't really go wrong with any of the varieties, I've tried several of the chicken, beef and seafood dishes and all were tasty. The combination platters are also nice since they include rice and an egg roll with the meal. The chicken with mixed vegetables is one of my favorites, they cook the veggies perfectly. I wouldn't necessarily tell you to drive from Atlanta out to Lithia Springs just for some Chinese take out, but if you're in the area or coming from Douglasville, I would definitely recommed you swing by for some great food! The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the portion sizes. Any of the meals you get are enough to share with another person. And if there's anything else you need to add to your meal that you won't find on their menu, there's a Publix right next door. :) read more

I went to China Liu's for dinner tonight. I ordered both meals with Fried Rice. I got soup for 2 and 3 spring rolls. Total of $29.84. I waited over 40 mins for my food. Several people being served but not to nicely. See, they have a window up and it opens and closes. One lady ordered Shrimp with veggies. They gave her Shrimp and broccoli. That poor lady got that window slammed in her face 3 times. She got her order after she had been there for a hour. Ok my 40mins are up and here is my food. Only 1 fried rice and one white rice. I told the lady nicely that I had 2 fried rice not just 1. She said "1 dollar more". Hummm nope I paid for 2 fried rice already. She slammed the window in my face. I kept my cool. She came back and said "one dollar more" again. I said no I already paid you. I had ask for a receipt but they never gave me one. I seen her when she wrote the ticket and it said 2 fried rice. I paid for 2. She slammed the window in my face again. Ok this time I'm a bit ticked off. The gentleman behind me said, "how much more rude can they get" I told him they had one more time slamming that window and I was gonna make it a drive thru. lol. She got my order after another 10 mins. and brought it to the window., set it outside the window and you guessed it....slammed that window again! I tapped on that window and ask her to hold on just a minute that i needed hot mustard. She threw 6 packs in the bag and slammed that dang window again. SMH. I have noticed that China Lui's has a good crowd of people coming in. I decided to stop on Sunday to try it out. After asking if I could substitue the Spring Rolls for the Pork filled egg rolls in the Combination Meals and being told "NO!", I decided to just try the wings. I did enjoy my Braised Wings but I still had to go over the the Station 1 Hot Wing cafe in order to get fries to go with my wings. Why? Because they don't have Pork in them. :) I will probably not patronize this spot again because I'd like to get a full meal at one location. Overall, the wings were good and a nice size. Used to come to this restaurant often but noticed over time the quality of the food kept going down hill. The other day, we ordered food from here. We ordered Crab Rangoons, Spare Ribs, Fried Wantons, Soup, and Chicken and Rice. Picked up our order and came home. Discovered the soup we paid for, was not in the bag. The Chicken & Rice was dry with very little flavor. The Crab Rangoon's were terrible. One would think that they would contain crab meat but one would be wrong! There was no crab meat in them, they were empty, just a void of disappointment! The fried wontons and ribs were ok but nothing special. Needless to say, we will not be back here. I love chinese takeout and I don't expect much when I get it but this was even worse than normal. The customer service was fine but the food was lacking... literally. I ordered the general tsao's chicken a pork egg roll and my wife got sweet and sour chicken and crab rangoon. The general tsao's was well portioned and average in taste my eggroll was 50% full it was mostly wrapper. My wife's sweet and sour chicken was average as well but her crab rangoon literally had 3 of the 7 pieces with 0 filling and the 4 pieces with filling couldn't have amounted to more than a tablespoon combined. We carried out so we didn't complain but being new in the area we will not be going back here. read more

We like this place. Our orders have always been correct and it's good food. I was skeptical for a long time to order shrimp anything but went out on a limb and tried it-VERY well cooked and seasoned. You get a lot of bang for your buck. The issue I have is with the lack of Covid precautions. Yes, the staff is behind glass doors and with masks, etc...but there is zero crowd control. Too many people in the waiting area. Several people in there without masks and several trying to cut in line and not allow the 6 ft space. Just earlier this week this dude comes in with NO mask and cuts in line right behind me. I ask him to give me 6 feet, he states there is (there wasn't) not to mention he was only two feet away from all the OTHER people around me too. Another guy approaches counter with no mask and has no idea what he wants (there are menus to review while you wait) so it forces the lady behind to open window to have him ask a million questions on food/prices. They really need to get that in check. No mask, no entry and limit the amount of people allowed in the building at once. A lot of the people ordering a rude, try to cut in line. The service IS slow and typically your order is ready 20-30 mins after they tell you it is. Could see some improvements. read more

I ordered from here tonight for the last time. They have screwed up my order (General Tso's chicken) three times now. The first time I chalked it up to a miscommunication. The second time I clarified that I wanted white meat instead of dark meat. No problem. It was wrong, so I took my order back. No customer service, only dirty looks. This time, I ordered in person and she repeated my order. It's not that hard to make General Tso's chicken with white meat instead of dark. I can't tell you how many times I've asked them to make my husband dish extra spicy and they never do. I'm done. Lets see where do I start. Ive eaten at China Luis on more than 1 occasion so im going to write this review in considering my last few visits. The food itself is not bad at all. You do receive a nice size portion and the price is pretty good as well. They offer several lunch specials during the week for less than $5. Each special includes your choice of soup to go along with your entree. The dinner portion is pretty much just like the typical dinner size portion the large box or small box whichever you choose. Now my issue is with a situation of finding hair in my food. I ordered 2 lunch specials, took them home, I opened one and started to eat ( It was the Chicken and Broccoli which is "ok") My husband ordered the general chicken. Well as he took his fork to lift the first piece he noticed a long peice of hair. So of course I told him that I wold take it back. While heading back to return the food I called to let them know that the hair was found and that I would be returning it. The fellow who answered was nice enough to apologize and encouraged me to bring it back for something else. Everything went well with the return of the food until.... The man working gave me the new meal. I then asked him what about the soup, now at this point the soup was cold and was still in the bag that I had brought back to him. He then said he would get me another soup. Well that is when he took the soup out of the bag, walked over to his big pot and poured it back into the pot. Huh...did he really do what I just saw or are my eyes lying to me??? He then took the same cup and scopped the soup back into the cup. Oh heck no!! He doesnt know if I tasted the soup, stuck my finger in it or what. How can he take soup that I took home and pour it back into the main pot. Showed up about 25 minutes later, the restaurant was empty except 1 customer and the guy said that I have to wait for them to make my order. I indicated that I called 30 minutes ago, I canceled the order and went through a drive through. I've been here before but, the food is average and the service not great. I think I will take a pass on going again... it's pointless to call in an order if they don't start it until you get there. Waste of time. read more
