Dark with a little spicy kick, not just sweet like many sesame chicken dishes. Beef & Broccoli - fine. Meat not the best not the worst. Had some ginger flavor but overall sauce felt lacking. Portions were big. The box was overflowing Spring rolls - strange. The most "airy" under-filled spring roll I ever had. Very little filling. The woman behind the counter was great. Radiated good energy with an infectious smile. Overall good, but I need to go back to see if it can be better. We have gotten carry out from China Moon for years. Ms Mae always had the BEST in the area, but tonight was disappointing. We are wondering if the restaurant changed hands. Ms Mae was not there. Delicious and huge portions! We ordered the general tsos and pork fried rice, along with vegetable rolls. We were so surprised on how they could offer such great food, at a decent price AND large portions. I would recommend ordering ahead as it seems this is NOT a hidden gem and they stay very busy. We ordered on a wednesday night and did not expect to hear that our food would be ready in 45 minutes. Typically, Chinese joints give you the usual "15 to 20 minutes" turnaround time. This is certainly not the case for this spot. However, if you're willing to wait the 45 minutes or so, you will be rewarded with fresh, delicious Chinese-American classics. The inside is small, and is really only a carry out spot. Good amount of parking, and easy to find as people are in and out. Although I did not personally go inside, my husband said the woman at the front has a fun personality and knew a lot of the customers that came in on a first name basis. When I was 16 and had a part-time job at Stebbins-Anderson in Towson, I used to come by here after work all the time and hurry to pick up food here before closing. That was 30 years ago and I live 500 miles away, and I still make sure and stop by here if I can every time I'm in town (and I'm still remembered just from my voice on the phone somehow!). Best Chinese-American takeout I've ever had. Even sometimes as simple as pork-fried rice, an afterthought in most places, is rich and delicious and dark. I would advise, however, ordering for a time well before you need it. Business here is always booming during peak hours and they do fall behind. That's the cost of getting good Chinese-American food; it's like waiting in line in LA for a cronut. read more

I chose this place because the normal places I go to are closed on Mondays. I called in my order about 15 minutes prior. I ordered the Lunch Portion Triple Delight. It was cooked with FRESH vegetables. The broccoli was ginormous and crunchy. It also had carrots, mushrooms, and water chestnuts. There were slices of chicken, beef, and best of all, large shrimp. Normally you'd get those penny sized shrimp at any other Chinese place but not here. This place is definitely not meant for dine in. It's just big enough for the counter itself. In a word, yummy! We called in our late lunch order and were told it would be ready in 20 minutes. They offer specially priced lunch specials from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM - Monday thru Saturday. They are closed on Sunday. We started off with a quart of Wonton Soup - it loaded with wontons and pork. The two shrimp and pork egg rolls that we ordered were so crispy and fresh. For our entrees, we had Shrimp Egg Foo Young and Sesame Chicken. We had our choice of steamed rice or fried rice. We decided on the fried rice. Our total bill was $19.10. Everything was delicious. Today, we learned something new. Previously, we had always paid in cash, but today we charged our lunch. Please note that when you charge, they assess a 4% surcharge for using a credit card.
