    Vegetable lo mien
    Sabine K.

In hopes for some quick delicious take out I was extremely disappointed by this restaurant. We ordered the chicken with mixed vegetables and brown rice, miso soup, and the vegetable lo mien. Here are my thoughts. Delivery: The food came in the correct time frame. There was no issue with timing or breakage. All items were also delivered that were ordered. Packaging: everything was safely delivered in plastic to go containers that we can reuse. Soy sauce and duck sauces were provided. Food: This unfortunately was their biggest downfall. The chicken we ordered came almost paper white. It also had a strangle gelatin kind of texture which was super gross. In the picture I have of the chicken I drenched it in soy sauce to help the flavor. The vegetables were ok. The rice was somehow over cooked. My vegetable lo mien looked disgusting quite honestly. It was sad, soggy, and the flavor was below average. Overall I was not a huge fan of this place. I will attach pictures of my orders below. Quite honestly I would recommend instead the restaurant Asian Taste as an alternative. It has good food for good prices. This place however was a disappointment and I will not be a frequent customer.

Lucky me, this is my local Chinese place! Fresh, not too greasy. Really good egg rolls. Lots of beef in the beef and broccoli, and the meat is always tender, not chewy. The interior decor leaves something to be desired, but who is going to eat at the restaurant anyway? A warning: I have had problems with order accuracy. So make sure to check your order when you pick it up. After getting used to their delish food, most other Chinese restaurants' food seems greasy and low quality.

I give it 3.5 because I was hungry. The quality of Chinese food had gone so low that average meals get scaled up. The human shrimp was okay. Broccoli under cooked, shrimp were great, sauce was pastry and won ton soup was great. I would eat here again if I was really hungry and nearby but that is it

One of my favorite restaurants in Towson. Always hits the spot. Closest to NY Chinese food that I can find.

I ordered combo lo mein, pork soup dumplings, combo fried rice, and duck spring rolls. Everything was packed well and nice and hot upon arrival. Everything was very delicious. All of the items had good flavor and the portion sizes for the lo mein and rice were good. I'd like to see maybe four soup dumplings for the price, but definitely enjoyed them as well as the spring rolls. Overall, I very much enjoyed the food, as did my bf, and will make a point to go there in person very soon to try more menu items!

We arrived for Friday $35 endless dim sum brunch, and the Host did not know who we were even though I had spoken with him today before, and I remembered his voice. So not a good start. We were sat upstairs, and we sat there for probably 20 minutes easy before we were even offered a beverage. It was when they first opened, but I would expect you to have staff ready. The hits just kept coming... The ambience downstairs was beautiful, but the ambience where we were sat was just lifeless. It didn't have the same punch. After we ordered some drinks, we decided on what we wanted from the menu. Some things were hit or miss, once they arrived to the table. The soup dumplings were just OK, but I guess I have really high expectations for that coming from NYC. The chicken lo mein wasn't bad per se, the veggie dumplings were delicious, the pork buns were well sauced. Some things I didn't like included the Szechuan beef, it lacked depth, and it was just too hot for my friends to eat. They really loved the fried rice and the sesame red bean balls. The scallion pancake everyone raved about was mid at best. I loved the curry sauce it came with, but it just was a mess to eat. The braised pork belly rolls were lovely, as was the cucumber salad, and the spring rolls. The Mongolian beef and the walnut dumplings were OK but nothing to write about beyond that they were basically flavorless. The cocktails were so so, but nothing that screamed for me to order another. The one highlight I will say is that they did come back to ask as if we wanted anything else multiple times. So I'm glad that they followed up on whether we want more food because some places just leave you be once they drop off. Maybe I'd give them another chance, but the answer is probably no... who knows. It was just generic, and imagining paying the prices that they had for not a $35 dim sum brunch per person, seemed egregious to me for such utterly mediocre food. So I guess I'm glad I came out on a Friday morning.

I ordered UberEats to my hotel. I ordered several things:…read more Chicken with broccoli, Eggplant in spicy garlic sauce, Green beans, White rice, Crystal shrimp dumpling and Hot and sour tofu egg soup. The food overall was delicious. Each of the entrees was flavorful and well prepared. Two things I want to mention: I thought the shrimp dumpling (3 of them) should have been a larger portion for the price and that the soup was a bit salty. Other than that, no complaints. After placing my order online, I called the restaurant to request plates, plastic ware and chop sticks. The friendly person on the phone assured me "no problem," and everything was received as promised. I had ordered a lot more food than I should have, and ended up having some for dinner, lunch the following day and late afternoon snack a day later. The entrees and rice held up well under repeat microwaving. I've been unimpressed by Peter Chang (eating at the testaurant) at another location in the past. I thought it was overpriced for what was typical Chinese food. I will likely try them out again after this experience. The food was much better than I remember it and seemed reasonably priced for the portions.

On day one, we wanted a light lunch to save room for dinner. We ordered the prawn with snow peas and wood ear mushrooms, along with the veggie pan-fried dumplings. Everything was incredibly light, fresh, and delicious! We paired it with the hot ginger honey tea, which was wonderfully flavorful and soothing. The staff was also so kind and accommodated our request for a quiet meal by seating us in a peaceful, closed-off section. On day two, we were craving those exact same flavors, so we re-ordered the prawn dish, the veggie dumplings, and the hot ginger tea--but this time, we added the beef lo mein. It was absolutely amazing! Honestly, it was the best lo mein we have ever had; we've never tasted anything quite like it. The food here is spectacular, and the service is incredibly accommodating that we forgot to take photos. Peter Chang will definitely be our go-to spot whenever we are back in Baltimore!
