The food is always hot and fresh but the main difference I can really see/taste is that they seem to change the oil out often. Their food doesn't have that weird taste when fish is fried with chicken and that old oil yuck taste. I really appreciate that. I just had my son yesterday so we decided on Chinese delivery. We don't normally order delivery or take out because we prefer to dine out or cook in so this was a rare occasion. I'm not a fan of any of the other Chinese take-out/delivery restaurants in the area but I've never tired this one so I figured we'd give it a try. Plus I could order online, I can't stand when you call in the order and can't communicate with the person taking the order. Well, we had to do that anyways because apparently the order didn't print out readable or something. Luckily it was an easy order this time. The food came super quick and it was actually really good. I'd definitely be ordering from here again next time we want Chinese delivery. Good potions, good price and quick service. Food is almost inedible, I ordered wonton soup and the sesame chicken meal for delivery. Soup was cold, the rice was bland, and worst of all was the chicken. The chicken was so fatty/inedible, had to spit out multiple pieces of fat or whatever that is (shown in picture). I suppose you get what you pay for, but I still can't believe I spent $20 for this garbage. They also have another lunch special section for "healthy eating" - all steamed - which is a bit more $ but less than $8.00 per lunch, and also includes soda. First, I wish they had a better photo for their restaurant. It doesn't do them and the food justice at all! I absolutely love this place and of course the food! My family and I used to order from another place near by for many years. Unfortunately they exchanged hands and the quality went downhill. We searched for another place and found this gem. For take out Chinese, this place is very good. We really enjoy their general tso chicken, which is a huge portion (large entree). Their dumplings and egg drop soup are good, and I really enjoyed their beef with mixed vegetables. We've gotten food from here a few times and the quality has been consistent. Much of the staff at China Moon are outright hostile to Americans. Especially the lady that takes the calls and orders. I am not difficult to deal with - 'heres what i want', and let me be on my way. Avoid this place unless you want to deal with that. Somehow my last 1 star review of this place has been removed after more than a year of it being live. So, I am resubmitting it here. Ordered food to go in the afternoon for a 6PM pick up on Christmas Day. The quality of the food was pretty good however, the pick up was completely mismanaged! I arrived to a crowd of frustrated people waiting for their orders. It was a Stockholm Syndrome experience of people knowing what should be but were accepting to have their food orders withheld by a younger "Gatekeeper" who was behind a plexiglass window with a small opening for the exchange of food for cash. Considering the community that, for generations celebrates Christmas Day with Chinese Food it felt like a very dark and ironic Saturday Night Live skit or Seinfeld episode. Finally a customer began asking for phone numbers on ready to deliver orders sitting on a counter which started the process moving. Again, the food was OK, was surprised at being charged $1.50 per container of hot mustard considering an $85. order. Hopefully Christmas 2022 will not become an insult to patrons. read more

I don't know what is going on with my other Chinese restaurants but there has been frequent owner and chef changes. That is why I came here, as my regulars keep going downhill.
