We order lunch from here regularly and it is always good Chinese food. We order for about 20 people and they are always meticulous and never get the order wrong. They are always prompt for our lunch order which is pretty darn good cuz we order so much. It's one of the preferred lunch choices for the office. Poor fried dumplings. Dry and not tasty. Egg drop soup was ok. Shrimp with Chinese veggies ok and Shrimp hot and spicy ok but not enough shrimp. I don't know what is going on with my other Chinese restaurants but there has been frequent owner and chef changes. That is why I came here, as my regulars keep going downhill. If you're hungry and want a reliable meal, this is NOT the place from which to order. Let me tell you why: until this week, I was a fan of China Mood. Their food is often tasty despite offering very small portions, and because it's located so close to my home, it usually arrives in under 30 minutes. But not tonight. After waiting an hour and forty five minutes, I found out that the restaurant's printer failed to print my order, and therefore the restaurant didn't process my meal. When Beyond Menu called China Moon to report the problem and explain that I was upset and hungry after waiting close to two hours for food that never arrived, the restaurant staff didn't care at all--not for me, or my hungry belly. Beyond Menu called me back and explained that the restaurant was unwilling to DO ANYTHING to compensate me for this very serious mistake--they didn't even offer me a free appetizer as an apology. I was stunned and must admit that I thought the staff at Beyond Menu was lying because my interactions with China Moon were positive in the past, so I called the manager of China Moon myself and much to my shock and dismay he refused to even apologize let alone offer me a few spring rolls as an apology. I told him that I was profoundly disappointed and wouldn't ever order from the restaurant again--despite the fact this was indeed my second order from China Moon this week--and that I often order from this restaurant. Was the price of an appetizer really worth my weekly business? Of course not, but the manager didn't care. In fact, he rudely hung up on me. That's when shock turned to annoyance and I decided to post this review. If you're looking for reliable Chinese food delivery this is NOT the place to go. The restaurant's competitors deliver quickly and their portion sizes are bigger so save yourself a lot of aggravation and an empty stomach by ordering from them instead of China Moon. Honestly some of the best Chinese takeout I've ever had! My family and I chose to pick up our food and they were very quick and efficient. There was no contact with anyone, just picked it up outside, so it's very comfortable and safe. They provide a very easy and helpful app where you can order anything you want as well as pay. I live a few miles away from this restaurant and I have to say I have about 5 other Chinese take-out places that are much closer to me. But there isn't another Take-out place I would go to rather than China Moon. It's fast, the people are nice, and of course it's a great amount of food for a great price. I always get the same combo- sweet and sour chicken with pork fried rice. And it's the best I've ever had. I absolutely love this place and will continue to drive out of my way for my meal as well as a great experience. My family and I have bin ordering for china moon for a long time now and really never had a any complaints.

I previously wrote a review on here and it was good, because the food really is great. BUT... I am updating because it is important. **** I had them ring up an order that was over $20 and it went thru (it was taken out of my bank) but the restaurant says it didn't go thru and refused to return my money... and didn't bring me my order!!!! AND another order (which will now be my last) I used my credit card... and at 4 a.m. that morning I received a text from my credit card company asking if I was purchasing a membership to somewhere in Hong Kong (no coincidence I'm sure). So hope that purchase for $25 was worth losing a customer! Damn shame! read more

Worst place ever!!!!! Food tasted under par. There's better places in the area, but I decided give them a try. Worse mistake possible. Chicken and garlic sauce tasted rubbery and made my stomach hurt. The fried rice looked like yellow rice with vegetables and the egg rolls are about the size of your thumb. AMAZING FOOD!! Called at quarter till ten on a Saturday night when they close at ten (I wasn't aware of this) I Placed my order and they were here in about fifteen minute. I want to point out that this was my first time ever ordering from this place and Boy did it exceed my expectations! Especially having placed my order at near closing time. I Ordered two dinner combos, vegetable low mein and General Tso's chicken. Per usual the combos came with fried rice, an egg roll and soup. All the food was delicious and was some of the freshest Chinese delivery I've had in as long as I can recollect. I even ate more then I usually do. I would have given them five stars if the phone service would have been better. The person who answered put me on hold as soon as they answered, I understand being busy but they just answered the call and put the phone down, when they got back on the phone the person taking my order had me repeat my address three times and my phone number I can't recall, maybe five times. Their English was sub par and they had a hard time understanding me and me them, typical for a Chinese take out place but this person was exceptionally difficult to speak too. My other issue with them was the person taking my order had a bit of a bad attitude. The phone service is my only criticism but this being my first experience with this place and it being close to closing time I won't let that deter me from ordering from them again as there are other things I would like to try being that their food was as good as it is. I've used them for years...probably once a month for delivery. Food is always delivered hot, it's good, and they give you reasonable estimates on the delivery time. They have an extensive menu. I usually get standard Chinese fare like Shrimp Fried Rice or Sweet & Sour Chicken or Pork. My fiance` goes more for duck or Moo Goo Gai Pan. We almost never have any issues with our order. One time when we did have an issue, we called them and they sent a driver back with the missing item...quick response to our problem. They're located in the Sawgrass Promenade shopping center, close to Walgreens. South of 10th street on Powerline in Deerfield. You'll like the food here. read more

I tried to be understanding. My first order was fine nothing special. I thought I will give them a 2nd chance. We ordered pan fried dumplings only to get them with a burnt flavor. I went to my main dish to find that there were onions in my order. I said please no onions I'm allergic. Also the vegetables were freezer burnt. I called the location to let them know what happened but they refused to come out with a replacement order. I was offered a credit though. Today when I tried to use my credit I was hassled and told he was doing me a favor. I questioned what he meant. I was offered the small size of my original order and refused to replace my other dish. the worst place on earth to stop and eat to if this was the last place on earth that had food! i ordered my lunch to be delivered at my job. for 1 they bought the food cold , i paid for shrimp fried rice the shrimps was not cooked all the way they were squishy and soft and have veins in as if they were not cleaned appropriately!!!!!!! the chicken was horrible hard as a brick & all stuck together. upon calling to let them know how dis satisfied i was when explaining my concerns to the lady who answered the phone she begin to laugh at me , i then asked her what was funny because i wasn't happy at all! i didn't have my car to go buy something else & i hadn't eaten all day. she then told me oh this is our 1st complaint, i then let her know it was a 1st time for everything and hat was very unprofessional and i would like to speak with a manager . manager takes the phone and i express y concerns to him along with letting him know she laughed at me he then told me i was lying and he was standing right by her and she never laughed from here i knew it was going to be an issue, i still told him how dissatisfied i was and he told me i'm mistaken because they don't get complaints . never once tried to help me and customer service was aweful! i wouldn't recommend this place to a posse of rats that need food because its horrible i would die and starve before i stop here people please watch what you eat! china moon is not the spot! i even told everyone at my job about it as they saw it to and we all agreed to never give them any more buisness as they don't deserve it! warning don eat here read more

Their menu isn't the most diverse, but the items that we've ordered have been fantastic. We get their garlic sauce all of the time and it is the best I've ever had - better than pf changs and a variety of other chinese restaurants.
