Also, it's SO hard to find restaurants (outside of NYC) that make good tofu, and Hong Yip has nailed it every time. I've tried the Mapo Tofu, the Sesame Tofu, and the General Tso's Tofu and they were all amazing. I keep going back for the General's Tofu with vegetable fried rice on the side. I eat a mostly vegetarian diet, so I haven't tried many of their meat options. I did enjoy the Crab Rangoon, the Shrimp Rolls, and the Spring Rolls however. I wasn't a big fan of their Lo Mein noodles because of the sauce, but I'm picky about sauces though. That's a small thing, and shouldn't stop you from trying their Lo Mein because you might enjoy it. All in all, I would recommend Hong Yip if you're in Lake City and you're looking for good Chinese-American food. I usually call in my order and it's ready when I arrive. I am very generous in giving tip only for those servers and staffs who are nice and happy to provide their service to us! When she came to our table and saw the $2, she said; Oh my God! Just $2??!! The audacity, for you to expect a good tip whilst being rude to us! Hell you don't deserve any tip in my opinion.
