    Chili Oil Wonton

Super cute noodle house in Gonzales. Caught my eye in the 225 mag and had to come try it myself! Since my first visit, i've been back anytime in in the area. Interior design is chefs kiss as well as the food! Service was very fast and efficient So far the pork gyoza has been my all time favorite (possibly the best gyoza i've had) not sure if it's the gyoza itself or the sauce but whatever it is- i hope it stays, it is delicious!!!!! I've also tried the beef pho, the shrimp and pork spring rolls, and the chili oil wontons! Super excited to be coming back and trying out different things!

My husband and I have dined here twice and have both had excellent experiences. Each time, I've noticed the staff was very attentive and greeted every customer that walked in. The inside was small, but had plenty of seating indoors and out as well. The decor was elegant, with playful elements that added a unique charm. Their menu had a great selection that didn't overwhelm and included pictures of each dish, which was helpful. So far, I've tried the Vermicelli bowl and the Chicken Bacos, both delicious. My husband's go-to is the Chicken Pho, "hold the onions." I can't wait to come back and try the Chicken Bahn Mi next time!

Been wanting to try this place since it's a newer spot in the neighborhood. I wanted something spicy to help coat with my throat. I thought of what better than to have was some spicy broth. Jennifer was a sweetheart. He was so nice and patient with me while deciding on what to order. She took the time to answer my questions. She smiled. I told her I will definitely come back just because she had a great attitude (the way excellent customer service should be)!!!! My beef broth (w/ extra chili oil). Was super duper spicy but it was much needed. Next time I definitely will try something different. The restaurant is small. There's a cool mural on the wall. There's seating out front of the restaurant.

This place has been open for a few months and near me so I decided to try it out finally. I will be honest that the pho was not even close for me personally. It lacked flavor and the brisket was meh. This is after adding hoisin sauce. The wings with their special sauce were good but the sliders were the biggest winner of the night. They had a special pack of flavor in them that stuck out. Fried rice was meh. I see a lot of positive reviews with dine in vs takeout so we might try one more time with dining in.

Beverages are phenomenal ! Fresh ingredients . Vietnamese Chicken wings are amazing! Best friend rice!! Very friendly and courteous staff. 10 out of 10!

Vermicelli Bowl (the fish sauce sucks)

Went back for lunch today. Ordered vermicelli bowl, the proteins were abundant. The nuoc mam (sauce) was not good. It was too sweet and missing the fish sauce and garlic flavor. Had to add more fish sauce to it. The bang bang shrimp had nice flavor and was good. The Vietnamese coffee is very thick and creamy if u like creamy coffee. I did not like it as I prefer the traditional made Vietnamese coffee. Pho was tasty, and definitely a large portion. I should have ordered a kid's size. Lol

Close to Tanger Outlet so it's a win win for me! The pho only comes in one size and the price is steep for the portion you get. With that being said, if this was the only pho restaurant around, I'll definitely come back since the pho does taste really good and authentic. The kids chicken tenders are huge tenders. Well bread and seasoned, more like for adults than for kids. I had to pack it home since my baby nephew wanted pho after a bite. The waitress also made my nephew a jelly milk tea without the milk for him when I explained he likes the jelly only so she made him a fruity jelly smoothie without milk.

Such a great experience, service amazing very pretty inside, food amazing . Large servings

This place is killer. Better than most places in NYC. Lovely service, such sweethearts. That special Pho was everything I wanted, except for the brisket which was tough. But everything else in it was perfect! Loved the summer roll with chopped up pork chop. A really yummy Thai iced tea. Everyone else loved their soups and noodle dishes. Not being from here, I love Louisiana cooking but it's so nice to see this place giving the community something different and delicious!

Finally got an opportunity to try this new Vietnamese restaurant in the Gonzales, LA area. First off, Gonzáles needed this and I can say that this place is worthy! You just gotta come here yourself! Here's what I ordered: 1. Galaxy Magic Crush: I believe it was mango with Jasmine chrysanthemums tea (?) Correct me if I'm wrong, but it was delicious! Sweet and tarty with crystal boba. 2. Cold Cuts Banh Mi: Mixture of meats, vegetables and pickled carrot and daikon on Dong Phuong bread. If you like meat, freshbveggies, and bread all in one bite, than try this on for size! 3. Special Pho: Beef broth, rare steak, brisket, tendon, tripe, and meatball. This was PHO sure Goodall 4. Bun Bo Hue: Spicy broth, Vietnamese udon, ham, tendon, and brisket. This is the HUE to go! 5. Tamarind dry rub chicken wings: If you're a wings fan, than you won't be disappointed. #LambChopOnTheGeaux #phovietnoodlehouse #vietnamesefood #gonzaleslouisiana

Rare steak pho. Beautiful presentation and HUGE portions! Served with Sriracha and hoisin sauces, too.

The menu here is very vague with not very many options for sides or combinations. As for the food itself, it is not very appetizing, especially for the outrageous prices. Not to mention that I received the wrong meal altogether after relaying specific instructions on what I wanted. To make matters worse, delivery takes forever and although it has nothing to do with the establishment itself, I unfortunately had the pleasure of having a Door-dasher who is a heavy smoker, leaving all of my food to smell like cigarette smoke.

Decided on shrimp fried rice after reading another review here & highly agree it is one of the better I've had. The shrimp were larger than expected, plentiful, flavorful & sweet. Shrimp were Perfectly cooked! The fried rice was perfectly balanced imo. Eggroll was tasty & average. I only tasted the boneless pork ribs & did not like the meat texture and the sauce was not at all to my liking. I prefer the ribs & sauce to be more browned & sauce caramelized, but the sauce just wasn't anything like I've had before. Don't think cooking it more would help it. Blah. Still overall, I will come back even just for the shrimp fried rice when I don't feel like cooking. It's out of my way but I've tried the closer places since I moved from LP, & been sorely disappointed. The fried rice here was as good as Viet Garden way down Florida Blvd, which I used to live closer to. Viet Garden obviously isn't Chinese but it's a nice sit down restaurant with very good food, when out that way.

We ordered the vegetable spring rolls they had very little filling, had an odd flavor from the oil, but were very crispy. I ordered the hibachi lunch. My daughter ordered General Taos chicken. The portions were large. The fried rice had hard dried out pieces of rice, I guess it had sat open somewhere and dried out. the menu said my chicken would have a teriyaki sauce, not teriyaki, some not good sauce which was so salty I couldn't eat it. The raw chicken had not been covered I am guessing, because it had a 'skin' on it? I could not eat it. My lunch came with a choice of salad or clear soup. I chose the salad, was very crispy but it had almost an 1/2 inch of water in the bottom of the bowl. My daughter said her clear soup was excellent. Her General Taos chicken had an old freezer taste she said . We were totally unable to eat the entrees. So sad. We had hoped that this would be our go to place for Chinese food.

We met the owner, Shelly, who is originally from China, and she was incredibly warm and welcoming. What really surprised us was that they served us fresh wasabi instead of the usual paste -- I've never had that before, and it was amazing. Once you try it fresh, you can never go back. Our server, Dashay, was fantastic -- kind, attentive, and just such a lovely young woman. We started with hot sake and Kirin draft beer, then ordered a spicy tuna roll and a hamachi (yellowtail and scallion) roll, both of which were excellent. We also had tempura -- the batter was a little thick for my personal taste, but the sauces were so good that it still hit the spot. My favorite dish was the ama ebi (sweet shrimp), especially because they bring out the fried shrimp head, which was crispy and delicious. The sushi was fresh, well-prepared, and beautifully balanced. Between the amazing food and the genuine hospitality, we had such a wonderful evening. I can absolutely see why this is Parker's favorite sushi spot in Gonzales. Highly recommend, and we'll definitely be back.
