He left, came back and said that the cook told him she had been making the soup for 40 years and had never added galangal. I said that perhaps there were different ingredients in the soup, depending on the part of Thailand that one was from. When the soup arrived, it was in a really small bowl. I saw the lemon grass and lime leaf but no galanagal. That beautiful aroma from the galangal was missing! The broth was very thin as well. The shrimp were well done and that was the soup's saving grace. The satay with the peanut sauce was really good. I'll go back but won't order any Tom Yum from this place. It was a very disappointing meal.

We order from here once or twice a month. They are a little on the high side with their pricing is why we don't order more often (also why they lost a star from this review). Food is good and they are always very quick to get your delivery to you. Would like to see their prices be a little more affordable. read more
