Tucked away in a quiet plaza, Pu Thai delivers a dining experience that doesn't just serve food--it transports you. From the moment we stepped in, the atmosphere melted away the stress of the day: Thai music lightly echoing from the speakers, subtle incense in the air, and videos of Thailand playing like postcards across the wall. It felt more like visiting a friend's home than a restaurant. The owner was an absolute gem--warm, welcoming, and attentive in a way that's rare these days. Our server went above and beyond, allowing us to customize one of the dessert options (yes, customize!). It wasn't just about flexibility--it was about hospitality. They genuinely wanted us to enjoy every detail. Let's talk about the star of the show: the Pink Dragon Roll. Gorgeous presentation--vibrant, balanced, and just the right amount of flair. The flavors were clean and layered, with each bite offering that ideal balance of creamy, tangy, and crisp. It was rich but not overwhelming--what I imagine a sushi chef would make for their own celebration dinner. We paired it with jasmine tea, and our dessert was personalized just for us--a combination that closed out the evening perfectly. Pro tip: Ask about their off-menu or customizable items. They're more than happy to tailor the experience. Prices were fair for the quality and experience, and every dish that passed by made me want to plan my next visit before the check arrived

My friend was coming to visit and she was craving Thai food. So we decided to go to Pu Thai. She had never been there she and ordered Drunken Noodles with Chicken and I ordered Pad See Ew with shrimp. I swear I could live on noodles and this dish was no exception. The noodles were wide and there was egg and a lot of beautiful veggies. The shrimp were plentiful and done perfectly. Both of us consumed our delicious dishes along with ice tea with lemon. Our server was very attentive and made sure everything was just perfect. The atmosphere is pretty and welcoming. There is a large TV featuring cooking of popular Thai foods. Pu Thai provides a lovely atmosphere for dining and enjoying friends.

Service here was awesome! We got seated quickly and the food came pretty fast too. The reason it's a 4 rating is because all of the dishes tasted good but not amazing. The green curry seemed to lack flavor as did the massaman curry. Mango sticky rice was good.

Intimate quite place with authentic Thai food. I had the Nutty chicken with flavorful peanut sauce and one of my favorite honeydew bubble tea. The green curry is some of the best I've had since my times working on the ship. The owners are the only ones who makes the curry ensuring its consistency and great flavorful taste.

We went to dinner with a lovely couple we met at a Yelp event. (Hi Judy! Hi Dave!) Their recommendation to eat at Pu Thai was a good one. Sauces are delicious and the owner/chef -- from Thailand -- abides by one's requested level of spiciness. When we go to Thai restaurants we usually start with tom kha gai, but based on a Yelper's recommendation we changed direction. Nam sod it is! With minced pork, ginger, red onions, cilantro and more, we had high hopes for our entrees. Which were met. Almost. The chicken in our green curry was somewhat spongy and the beef in our pad si ew, a bit tough. Next time we'll go with tofu and shrimp. Maybe salmon, which must've been good. Dave said his dish was five stars. Service is friendly and attentive. Though the restaurant was preparing to close, we weren't rushed. All in all, a fun evening out ... and my leftover pad si ew was as good for breakfast this morning, as it was last night!

The wife and I stopped in after hearing about them via SWFL foodies blog. Really fresh and flavorful and loaded with vegetables and pork. Wife had fried rice and it was also really good and loaded with shrimp that were big. Very good service so would recommend you try it.

So, saying that I love Thai would be an understatement and being a million miles away from Bangkok of Daphne, I had ventured out to find a new Thai restaurant while working on Ft Myers Beach. The people are great, the ambiance is just right and the food, amazing. Prices are very reasonable too... So when in the Cape Coral area, you owe it to yourself to visit Pu Thai... Remember, support and eat at your local eateries or we all starve....

We went to this restaurant on a whim and now we can't stop thinking about it. We love the traditional Thai dishes but we especially love the sushi. They don't have a huge selection, but what they do have is some of the tastiest in town. Large rolls with fresh ingredients and perfectly seasoned rice? Yes, please!! My favorite is the Grace roll and I will order it every time I go there without fail. We are not able to give this restaurant five stars because the service is hit or miss. We either have a server with a slight attitude, a new server with zero experience, or the general issue of being understaffed. It's not bad enough to make us not frequent this restaurant, but it's noticeable enough to dock them a star for the overall experience. We really like this place!

Was craving Thai food and decided to have dinner here. The inside of the restaurant is casual and dimly lit. We tried the Papaya Salad, and it was great. It could have had more shrimp as there were only two pieces, but the actual salad was flavorful. We also tried the Thai Fried Wontons. The wontons weren't bad but weren't great either-- I wouldn't get it again as it was mostly fried wonton wrappers with little filling. The Pad Thai with Chicken was tasty and cooked well. I would get it again.

Stopped in here on A rainy Wednesday evening after choir to have dinner. It was empty. What a delight to sit (without bar food ambience) and be able to talk and with best friend over today's memorables. Dimming lights n background relaxing music. Nam Sod salad divided two ways- delish n medium spicy; my mango curried chicken/bell peppers was 5(both spicy, hot with sweet aftertaste). My BFF had eggplant lover, chicken with basil and rice which loved. We savored the jasmine n green teas. Excellent choice on a late night. Our server offered insight. Thai food isn't salted (Wow- what we like) and was ready to make our evening enjoyed. No rush! $46.70 + tip

We also had the chicken and shrimp fried rice which is a favorite of ours. Sue told us she was born using chopsticks! David and I still struggle with them lol! Everything was delicious and piping hot. The Pho had the herbs, lime and jalapeño on the side. The fried rice had broth. David couldn't resist the chili sauce and then couldn't stop coughing! He does this every time and maybe he should just add a few drops instead of a teaspoon. We enjoyed everything we ate and the flavors were amazing! It's located in the same plaza as Sam's Club and there's a large parking lot out front. First off, right outside the restaurant are lush plantings, a trellis with bamboo, flowers, tin geckos on the tree and much more. And inside the decorations continue with birds, more bamboo, and greenery and lanterns etc. The staff is friendly and welcoming. We were here for a late lunch on a Saturday. They were busy when we first entered and people didn't stop coming in the whole time we were there. We started with a shrimp summer roll. As there were two rolls, it was perfect for sharing as we got one roll each. We both really liked the peanut sauce that came with the dish, too. We each got a banh mi sandwich. The grilled roast pork one with the veggies, but I left off the jalapeños and mayo on mine. It was cut in two pieces on a crusty French bread roll. We added some hoisin sauce (on the table along side the sriracha sauce) and chomped away. Just what we were in the mood for today. My husband had an iced jasmine tea to drink. Very light and refreshing. So happy we found this place. If it's cooler next time we are in this area, we will try their pho and bun options. This place is a keeper.

Today is my day at Saigon Baguette located in Palm Pointe Shoppes just south of Page Field on South Cleveland Avenue. Wow, I remembered this location as a former Brazilian Grill many years ago! It is totally renovated with open space and decorated wall mural. Loved that paint of palm leaves on the wall. At one of front corners, they have a sofa and chairs. I assume it is for customers waiting for take-out orders! Is this another Banh Mi shop with Boba drinks? One look at the menu and you can tell it is above the normal Banh Mi or Baguette sandwiches. It listed Vermicelli salad Bowl, Banh Mi Chao, Pateso Cake and crab Rangoon and a Shaking Beef rice plate and other items! I ordered a Banh Mi Chao and a Taro Milk Tea for lunch as my taste test! What is Banh Mi Chao? Banh Mi Chao a rather popular, savory Vietnamese brunch or comfort food dish that tastes like a sizzling, elevated breakfast skillet. It consists of a hot pan filled with combinations of pâté, sunny-side-up eggs, sausages, meat balls, meats (like filet mignon, beef belly, or pork), and combined with tomato or soy-based sauce, served with a crispy baguette for dipping. That is a mouthful! This Banh Mi Chao is rich, creamy, and savory. When I dipped the baguette into that sauce, meat, and egg mixture, and biting into the baguette, I was in heaven! You normally ordered this at specialty Vietnamese cafes and brunch spots, offering a more customizable experience than a pre-made Banh Mi sandwich! The Taro Milk Tea suited me fine. I asked them to adjust to sweetness to my liking! Wonderful lunch. The owners are super friendly and answered many of my questions with wonderful recommendations. Will I or We go back? You bet! Shaking Beef with Pateso is implanted in my brain now.
