This restaurant is a buffet, which is almost always bad when it involves Chinese food... this type of food is ALWAYS better cooked fresh and to order. But I digress. And, as predicted, the food was terrible. This sucks for them because the wait staff were very good. Regardless, I'll not ever go back. A few of my favorites were on the menu but a very sad imitation. Their chow mein was plain noodles covered in some butter sauce or something and their fried rice was yellow tinted rice with some fried eggs in it. Neither of these dishes had any of the normal additions like onion, celery, carrots or peas, etc. I requested fried won ton. Nope. Asked for sweet and sour pork. Nope. Then I asked if they had sweet and sour chicken, was told yes. And he was sweet to offer to get it for me, (they have to scoop the food for you due to covid regulations), and came back with a plate of [what appeared to be] beer battered deep fried chicken and a side bowl of dipping sauce typically used for fried won ton. Really? Do these people not know what Chinese food is supposed to be? ‍ Oh, I had their potstickers, but even they were a sad imitation of what they should taste like. The iced tea was the best thing I had. Sorry, but I cannot recommend anyone eating at this restaurant, it's just not worth the money you'll spend. read more

This Chinese restaurant has very good customer service and good hygiene practice compare to a lot of Chinese restaurant. The oolong tea is good either in hot or ice. We ate here expecting the same old kinda chinese food. We have had some exceptional chinese food in the past but i have to say, this place is my favorite. The flavors are spot on and it has a good but not crazy amount of options. I think that is good because then they can focus on what they do have. The food was all fresh and well prepared. I have never seen chicken on a stick (Teriyaki chicken) in such large portions or so well cooked. I would like to say it was the best thing there but that would take away from the sesame chicken, the jumbo shrimp, the peppered chicken and so many more things. This bathroom was clean and respectable! Very easy to find there are signs for it everywhere, no need to ask anyone. The bathroom itself is very clean, but the lighting is a little dim. There is a surprise here in the form of a full-length mirror, so I got to check myself out and make sure I hadn't sat in anything during the long drive to get here. Overall, a very nice bathroom. The service here is fantastic and someone offered to make something for me because of dietary restrictions, which was so kind of them. Ehhhhh, it passed the test for average american chinese. Everything seemed overly salted or sweetened though. The buffet had your classic chinese staples - sesame chicken, beef and broccoli, eggrolls etc. It seemed clean and the staff were friendly. I've eaten here with my family twice. They have a great number of selections compared to other Chinese buffets I've visited. Granted it is mostly chicken dishes, but there are still delicious variations among them. There are also a few non-Chinese-American dishes like bbq pork and fried potatoes. It's a typical Chinese buffet and if you don't know how to give three stars instead of one when you clearly gave a three star review then you shouldn't be reviewing. Staff are very attentive and friendly. Our last waiter even displayed his knowledge of Spanish. The restaurant is clean and decorated nicely with pleasing local photography. For a Chinese buffet out in the middle of the great West, it's adequate. It doesn't compare well to the Chinese buffet places I've visited along the east coast but it wouldn't be a fair comparison. If I lived here in Cody I would be a regular eating there. Food fresh service excellent. Many choices and unlike other buffets each item has it own flavor. This was probably the best Chinese food you could find in Cody!! When my family and I entered the restaurant, there was the choice of either the buffet or menu à la carte. The buffet didn't look that interesting, there were a few selections. For food, we went for the steamed dumplings. Excellent!! For our mains, we shared the Mongolian beef, cashew chicken, and Kung Pao Chicken. Everything was excellent, however the Mongolian beef was too salty. Since my brother and I were still hungry, we ordered bowls of the wonton soup and egg flower soup. The soups were excellent, but the soups were colored funny. So it's Thursday night, 745. I look on their website and they say they close at eight. Everywhere else says ten. Okay..? Figure out what we want and call in, first asking when the f*ck they close. Girl told me 8 in the winter, but 9 if they're slow. Okay..? Give her my order. They tell me they still do delivery. Great! "That'll be 15-20 minutes!" Wait, what about my...address? "Oh, I almost forgot!" OKAY...? Food arrives about 20 minutes later, great. Pay the guy and he leaves. Guy got orange chicken and I got egg drop soup with crab rangoons. So he just told me that there's this slight bitterness to his chicken, but he thinks it could be from the (black) orange that was in there. I spat out an onion from my egg drop soup. Regardless, everything was nice and hot by the time it got here. The -1 Star is for the confused gal who answered the phone. Until recently I would not have rated this well, but the food is now fresh! the variety is great! and all that I ate was very tasty! :-) The owner remembers so many of the customers and truly made them seem like family. I have eaten in several Chinese restaurants across the country and this is by far the worst I have been to. There was no variety and the food had been sitting out for a long time. The egg drop soup doesn't even look or taste like it's suppose to. The beef and broccoli was OK and was the only food that was fresh, but it was still not as good as I have had before. Also,they were expensive for not great food! $12.99 buffet is more than I have paid for to eat chinese for that quality of food. read more

The staff was friendly but the food overall was disappointing. The hot n sour soup was like none other I've ever tasted, not meant to be a compliment and stay away from the Cumin Chicken. Tried as much of the buffet as possible trying to find something that was great, best thing was the green bean pork. Just mediocre at best all around except for the service.
