I didn't pay much attention to it being a buffet-style but decided that was okay -- it would give me the opportunity to try some different things. The buffet was fine, with quite a few choices, but most were heavy on the sauces or fried, and the vegetable dishes were sparse - maybe 1 or 2. What I did try was fine, satisfied a craving, but not necessarily something spectacular. I attribute that to the buffet-style food. The things you typically expect in a Chinese buffet were available: sweet/sour chicken and pork, a beef dish, chicken skewers, noodles, rice, two kinds of soup (the sweet sour soup was pretty good, too). Of the things I did try, the coconut shrimp was the winner. It didn't look like much but ended up being one of the better things despite the heavy sauce. The sesame chicken was also good, and the cream-cheese filled wontons were worth a second trip. Overall, Jen's is fine, plenty of food for a reasonable price and with service that is available, but not intrusive when you need a beverage refill.
