We were in town on vacation and just got in from a long day of traveling so we decided to order delivery. This restaurant came up and we both love good Chinese food and this place did not disappoint. While the prices seemed higher than other cities the portions are rather generous and the food was great. If you are in the area and in the mood for good Chinese food stop by or order in.

The food I ordered on Uber eats looks nothing like the pictures. Obviously doesn't take pride in their work. Everything is flavorless. The egg roll did not taste good. I waited a hour just to get disappointed and still hungry because I'm not eating this.

I don't usually go to buffets but one of the guys talked me into it. This place is almost hidden in a little strip mall outside the Gov Hill hate at JBER. When you enter you'll immediately notice the large picture of what looks to be the Chinese government, kind of an off place for not. We made our to a table and was invited to help ourselves to the Buffet. It was well stocked with a nice variety of choices. The food seemed to be fresh and well seasoned. They continues to bring small portions out as needed versus filling up a large amount to sit, I like that. We each had a couple plates and could have had more. The ladies working inside were all very sweet and accommodating. Nice place, I would go back again for sure.

12.50 it's pretty good for an all you can eat Lunch buffet during the week in Alaska! Some of the dishes are deep fried and Americanized, while some are more typical Chinese cuisine and therefore healthier. For dinner there are some combo plate options, so you don't have to choose just one entree. Will definitely be back!

Came here for dine-in and wow I forgot how good Chinese food can be when fresh out of the kitchen. Place has been remodeled and menu tremendously truncated. We were the only diners here at 7pm Sat night, but witnessed many takeout orders picked up. No more traditional authentic menu (super sad!); see new menu photos. Egg rolls were delicious and well seasoned, but small for $2.50 each. Sesame chicken, Mongolian beef, and chicken fried rice were perfection for our Chinese fix. Peking pork (off menu but still available, without wrappers) was good, but needed to be fried a little more to caramelize the sauce and crisp up the meat; as-is, the sauce was overpowering. No more bonus treat with our $100+ order: they used to give crab rangoons, or a meat pancake, or something else which was always fun to experience things we wouldn't normally try. Not even fortune cookies with the bill (and told that's Japanese culture). Had to ask for a refill on waters. Soda was served by the can. Still recommend for the essentials and will be back.

Not complaining ab the price because I did use doordash but thankfully my white rice was good

I ordered my all time fav (chicken fried rice) every bite of chicken was slimy and felt like a p3ni$ in my mouth got egg rolls and they had no meat and the sweet & sour sauce tasted like water #disappointed

China Town has remodeled! They now have a new private room up front, updated entry, and expanded main dining seating. Looks great, but we're here about the food! This remains the best bargain in town for a lunch buffet at $10.50 including your drink. They've stepped it up a notch with sushi rolls everyday, and several different ones! Yes, these are what some people called "American Specials." But, hey, if you stuff something with cream cheese and shrimp, bonus if you fry it, I'm your biggest fan and you can call it whatever you want. Simple, fresh quality ingredients in their beef and chicken dishes keep you going back for more. I adore the green beans with garlic and Mongolian beef! The crab and cheese stuffed won tons are house-made and worth the price alone for all you can eat. A recent addition to the buffet is the Chinese Pancake. I'd never had it, but am now addicted. It's a savory blend of meats and spices that I could not get enough of. The pancake itself is light with a wonderful flavor of sesame oil. The ladies that work the lunch shift are always smiling and happy to see you. "Make people feel welcome and feed them well." A simple recipe for restaurant success that China Town has perfected.

Pretty darn good. The best locally owned Chinese restaurant I've encountered since I moved to Alaska. The owners are actually Chinese, rather than Korean, so the food is a bit more authentic (made the way I'm accustomed to back on the east coast.) They're in the middle of a big remodel right now, so when we went we were the only people there. Our food came quickly but was also obviously made to order. In particular the mongolian beef was out of this world... it had that fabulous grilled beef flavor that is missing from every other place in town. And the Chinese donuts were off the chain. I'm looking forward to going again to sample more of their offerings. It just sucks it's in such a weird, out of the way location.

Nothing really negative to report. But nothing really positive either. It's typical American Chinese food. It works if you have a craving.

The family that owns and operates this gem is Greek and they are not only amazing cooks, but they care about their community!! I have been there eating several times this winter and obviously homeless people would come to the door and be given water, hot soup, half a sandwich, etc. that just made me love this place more. Now to the food. First of all I had the meatball sub which was not only delicious but super filling. The meat was very well seasoned, and the fresh basil just made the marinara pop even more, add the freshly shaved Parmesan cheese and you've got something special. The homemade bread puts this thing into overdrive! Crispy on the outside, light, delicate but not falling apart and heavy enough to hold together all that deliciousness without being filling like you just ate a large pizza. Now to the ridiculous tomato basil soup. I love the clam chowder but the tomato basil is my favorite. Savory, full of flavor, smooth, creamy and not greasy. This in my opinion is the perfect pairing to the meatball sub. You're welcome! The customer service here is amazing too just like the owners and the food. You will always be greeted by a smiling face, and treated like family. You will not regret stopping here. I've eaten the Meatball sub, The Philly, the lasagna and The Gyro ( lamb and chicken) all have been 10 out of 10. The ambiance is like a neighborhood dinner with a small dining room. You will love it!

Nice quaint family run local restaurant. I would try the Alfredo next time assuming they make the sauce in house?
