I used to order takeout from china town when I worked in the area several years ago. Since then I believe it has declined in quality. We ordered moo goo gai pan, sweet and sour chicken and chicken and broccoli. All the entrees were just meh. The white rice was wet and clumpy. Soups had no flavor and appetizers were nowhere near the quality they used to be. I'll be skipping china town in the future. read more

My wife and I were hungry for Chinese and were to busy to go out. What do we do to solve the problem? DoorDash to the rescue. We pre-ordered and we received our order almost on time. It was a bit late due to evening traffic and not a big deal. I decided on the Shrimp with Garlic Sauce accompanied with hot sour soup, an egg roll, a foil packet of chicken and a crab rangoon. This included as the $3.00 add on to make it a complete meal. That was a darn good deal. My wife ordered her favorite Kung Pao Chicken with steamed rice. Our "Dasher" delivered our order promptly. As we sat down to eat we were pleased both of our entrees were still very hot. They both tasted SO good. As usual with Chinese food, there were enough left of each our our entrees for another meal. We ordered for the first time a week ago and it was the best we have had in a long time. We ordered General Tso's Chicken, the flavor was amazing and it was enough for all of us. We liked it so much we ordered same dish the next day,and still amazing. We decided to order again Monday and it was ok but alot of hard pieces that were just the batter. So now this weekend, I didn't feel like cooking so we ordered again, and now even more hard pieces, and not much Chicken. So disappointed in the quality of the food. Im not sure if we will order from here again due to half was inedible because of social many hard pieces and really no Chicken, just batter. I placed an order for pickup and found this to be one of the least appealing Chinese restaurants I have ever eaten at. I ordered the crispy lemon chicken with fried rice and the orange peel chicken with fried rice. we added soup, egg roll cheese wonton and paper chicken to both dishes. the crispy lemon chicken was thin cut chicken breaded and deep fried and sliced. the chicken was overcooked, dry and incredibly bland. $12.00 for what was a totally cardboard piece of chicken. no sauce, seasoning, vegetable,....there was not a hint of lemon. the orange chicken, portion generous and the sauce was acceptable but again, not one vegetable. I have ordered a lot of orange chicken in numerous Chinese restaurants and have never had one served without some vegetables. the fried rice was a joke. it was NOTHING more than rice that had a faint brownness to it. No meat, no veggies, no eggs, nothing! The Wonton soup was as bland as imaginable with one overcooked wonton. the egg rolls were bland with a little veggies going on. Fair is the best I can call the egg rolls.....and that is better than the rest of it. Total waste of $35. We will not order from them again. read more

I used to order carry out from here often when I lived in Bedford, but I hadn't had a chance to stop by since we moved. So I was glad I got a chance to dine in and enjoy a delicious meal. there is plenty of seating and the service is good. For an appetizer I ordered some beef on a stick. It wasn't my favorite and I wouldn't really recommend, but they have plenty of other options to choose from. For my meal I ordered their lunch special and it was plenty of food, even for a foodie like me. You get to choose an entree, soup, and it comes with an egg roll. Prices are pretty good for the portion of food you get. This place isn't close to me anymore, but I haven't found another place quite like it. It's worth the drive. read more

Great food and inexpensive delivery charge ($3.00). I love their chicken fried rice, such a great flavor and the container is stuffed for $9.99- I get several meals out of it. Their Szechuan Pork is awesome with small lean strips of pork, carrots and celery in a spicy brown sauce. If you spend $15 you get 2 free eggrolls (from a coupon on their website). I've tried several dishes and I'm always pleased. The food is packed securely in a brown paper bag with a cardboard insert in the bottom to keep everything stabilized. The chicken had good flavor is some of the best sesame chicken around. Order the egg roll as well. That had good flavor too. The size was about as big as my finger though. Ordered delivery to my hotel and it came earlier than expected!!! The total for a bunch of food was $29.83. That included a $5 tip and $2 delivery. My girlfriend ordered me Chinese right away, even though I told her I can just have some microwave popcorn or instant ramen instead. To my surprise, everything was beyond fresher than fresh. All the veggies were bright and shiny and the meat texture was not old, soggy, and chewy like you would expect from your typical American Chinese places. The General Tsao chicken and sesame chicken tasted almost identical as always. Wonton and Hot/Sour soup were tasty. The only not so tasty item was fried cheese wonton. They were fresh but too chewy instead of crunchy. I've developed distaste for American Chinese food ever since I was a teenager working as a waiter in one (just sick of it after eating it everyday), but I would recommend this place to anyone. Heck, I think this is the first decent Chinese place I've come across over almost 20 years, and it all thanks to my girlfriend. She never fails to pick good places to eat. A small, unassuming place with low prices, quick service, and decent food. I come here more often than I should admit to, but I thoroughly enjoy everything I order off their menu so I continue to return. It is not a great sit down place, I would recommend ordering pick up if you're in a time crunch (they usually have my food ready in less than 20 minutes) or delivery if you have some time to spare. I lived in an apartment that was confusing to get to and they didn't ever have trouble dropping off my food, so kudos to them for that. Try the brown ginger sauce! read more

Our new favorite! We just moved to Bedford a couple of months ago and had tried a couple of different Chinese food places and they were pretty average. One day we got a flyer for China Town and decided to try it out. Now we are hooked! I'm not really a beef person when it comes to Chinese food, but the Beef with Snow Peas is wonderful! My all-time favorite menu items are their egg rolls. These are the best I've had...next to homemade. We always order extra to reheat the next day.
