Probably the WORST Asian food I have ever had. The fried rice tasted like plastic. The generals chicken was watered down and had no flavor. How are people even liking this place is crazy. The chicken had a grayish tint to it and the breading was soggy and sticking to each other. read more

The soups are still good, and I do like some of the new items like the crispy chicken or fish but my old favorites are not the same recipe anymore. The dishes that Tom used to cook just don't taste the same anymore. At first, it was similar but now it's like the seasonings or sauces are less flavorful now, dishes are more plain, especially any of the stir fry noodles like the Lo Mein or fried rice are too plain now. read more

What a surprise hit from a normal looking plaza. Do not let the simple storefront fool you, they are excellent. The Singapore noodles was amazing and the side order of crispy beef spring roll was so good, I could've easily finished two orders. 100% we'd return to eat again. read more

I just want to say that this place is amazing I don't care what anyone says. The food is great and the service is amazing. My daughter is a Leukemia patient and sometimes I'm in a rush of things and forget to grab my daughter her blue lollipop and the owner is always very diligent and makes sure I have all my stuff. Pretty good, I picked up our order today 10/18 since they don't deliver. I got sesame chicken, orange chicken, beef and green beans, wonton soup , Singapore noodles and chicken lo mien and beef egg rolls. I don't recommend the orange chicken, it's not orangey it's Just sweet not good. Sesame chicken was delicious we loved it and the beef and green beans were soo good I recommend those two entrees. Singapore noodles were good too but next time I won't get it , I'll try the beef and rice noodles next. Chicken lo mien was good and I absolutely loved the wonton soup , it was hot and delicious had flavor. Also the order came with chili with chili oil soooo good I added the oil to my soup!!! Delicious!! Egg rolls aren't those big traditional ones it was more of a spring roll it was ok. But what I didn't like was the portion sizes. For both the orange and sesame it had 4 each pieces we are a family of four and I was shocked how little the portion was. Also , they skimped out on the chicken lo mien I was like wait a minute! Why they add so little??? Just saying for $60 i expected more serving from each entree. read more

oh my gosh, the crispy fried legs are amazing, the beef egg rolls are amazing, the egg drop soup is great! it's a small place and they stay busy. call ahead for sure. mainly for pick up. the combination fried rice is really good. the only bad thing i can say is they use an air freshener in there and it is almost overpowering, you should take those out. i had to wait outside for the order as i couldn't take that strong scent. We'd rather smell the yummy food. they only have like four tables so it can be a dine in but it's mainly for take out. read more

Great friend rice! Most places you go have so much soy sauce that the rice turns brown, but this was white and fresh. The shrimp weren't over cooked or itty bitty like a lot of other places. The egg drop soup and the hot and sour were fresh and tasty. Which was surprising because a lot of places are almost congealed. There's wasn't. Fresh, hot and crispy egg rolls. Chicken egg foo young was excellent. Not the nest I've ever had but for a quick in and out it was damn good. Definitely recommend read more

We live near Toms and always wanted to try but hesitated due to the lack of info online about the place/menu and it has been closed for a bit. What a hidden gem!! Saw news that the place was opening back up and we decided to give it a try. We got fried rice, sesame chicken, (2) egg drop soup, and crispy beef spring rolls. All delicious - and only $24! This is just a really cute, humble spot for some legit, home style Asian food. We popped in one afternoon to get a quick bite, and were just so enamored of the cute couple who run this place! The cook in the back is an older Asian gentleman (I do apologize, I did not ask where they are from, as I felt it might be rude) who was just rocking and rolling back there in the kitchen. An older woman took our order, and we got some street noodles, spring rolls, and string bean beef with fried rice. Everything was tasty, and very reasonably priced! For that price, you should not expect the highest quality of meat, and we didn't, so we were satisfied. If you have issues with chewy chicken and beef, this might not be the place for you. Literally Walking out now full and happy. I've added this place to my favorites lol definitely worth a try. I tried the South China sirloin steak with green beans and noodles. I also tried their sweet and spicy chicken wings and everything was amazing and so fresh. I had to let the cook know that he did his thing back there. Not what i remembered but ok. I had three piece of chicken fried rice with about a pound of rice. Very bland. Wife had broccoli chicken. Same thing, three pieces of chicken and a ton of rice. I live in the neighborhood so I've been going here for years. Hard working family and Grandpa Tom is still flicking the wok with his wrist and whipping out good ol, inexpensive Chinese fast food! I was sitting there last night saying a little prayer that they will hit the lotto and sell the place and retire, because I see how hard they both work. But as I was watching I could totally see that it is their passion!! I'm sure they don't even play the lotto and even if they won, they probably won't quit! There's no better Chinese food in the entire Hurst/Bedford/Euless area, partly because none of the other Chinese restaurants in this area are any good. You can call ahead to place your order for pickup, or else you'll be waiting a while, and the spot is pretty popular/always busy, and there's not a lot of seating while you wait. read more
