We like this for a quick afternoon lunch. We do the combination curry fried rice. The spare ribs are also nice. Service is decent for a fast food take out place. It's not exactly a sit down style restaurant but nice that they offer seating in case someone needs to wait for any reason or even eat their meals there. read more

This place is so trash! They are rude as heck! So it's 2:40pm and I go to their website to order food and the website doesn't allow me to order lunch. Mind you lunch ends at 3:00pm. So then I called to order over phone. Lady there was very rude on how she picked up the phone. And then I say hey I'm trying to order lunch special (it's 2:43 pm). She says "oh lunch special is over". I say "we'll your website and the brochure you sent me in the mail says 3:00 pm." She says "oh well it's almost over". I said "what...?" She says "oh we can go ahead and take..". I said "no so you sit there and half ass my order? No I'm good. And this how you do business? Ok, won't be eating here." This just goes to show you how trash these establishments are. They want you to pay all this money for their food but don't want to treat the customers right or follow their own hours. Aside from the food not being tasty (ordered entree with scallops which was imitation and the zucchini was very bitter which means old already), the lady was extremely rude when we were asking for suggestions. She said this: "We are so busy to answer your questions. I can't even hear your question. Just give me your order." While looking at the menu and deciding what to order, she kept mumbling that they are so busy. She was just so impatient to get my order. I highly recommend the Panda Cafe in Wellington Rd also here in Manassas. Their food is very very tasty and have good portion. The staff are very courteous and polite. 5/11/2019 I ordered shrimp with garlic sauce, extra hot. It was delicious, the vegetables were crisp, a nice amount of heat. Nice size portion, at least for the dinner entree. We weren't looking for the worst Chinese food in Manassas, but we found it here. Our delivery order was: eggrolls, spare ribs, and sweet & sour shrimp. What we got were spring rolls, parboiled ribs that were tasteless, and mostly breading with a few that actually had shrimp inside. One piece of pineapple and a huge container of sickly sweet sauce. I got a flyer in the mail that this place is having it's grand opening, and we are desperate for decent Chinese food in Manassas. So, I was hungry and it was too coincidental...so I ordered online. Their ordering system is nice as it is more transparent than other restaurants, and they deliver for free with a $15 minimum, which let's face it, is barely two meals so essentially a non-issue. They have a section of their site where they ask for your feedback and suggestions, which is also novel. So, as a NJ native I have a specific and dare I say high expectation for what "good Chinese" is. Not too greasy, meat unlike rubber, a good brown friend rice (not yellow or artificial looking), robust brown sauce, etc. Order arrives in 25 minutes, a plus. The beef strips are what you expect - teriyaki skewers and tasty. The lo mein is a home run! No weird, oily yellow noodles here! Decent chunks of quality, marinated pork, nicely coated in sauce but not overwhelming. Piping hot. Here we go...The mixed vegetables. The brown sauce. Sigh, what I expected but not irredeemable! Was hoping for more flavor but it was edible and I am happy. It's the kind of common brown sauce you'll get anywhere despite my hopes it'd be a surprise hit. I get Chinese takeout often, and am used to my order getting a reaction. However, I always wait until it's repeated back to me before I hangup. When I got my usual order. Large fried rice, no eggs just peas carrots and onions. I go pick it up and it has eggs in it, no big deal. I'll just return it and go to my usual, Panda Cafe. But the kid ( and by kid I mean 12 looking) got an attitude w me and told me it was right, saying that's what I ordered. I said I just want my money back. This continued until his mother came out and stopped him, it wasn't until then I got my refund. I said have a great day and left.End of story, all I'm saying is if he can't be respectful maybe he shouldn't be upfront. read more

Just tried this place...order carry out. 10 min for pick up. Started out well. $20 for lo mein, soup and 2 appetizers. No napkins, utensils or sauces in the bag when I got where I was going. Food isn't any better or worse tasting than other similar restaurants in the area. Seem skimpy on the noodles for won ton soup. Egg rolls are small. Crab Rangoon is mostly pasty with a very small portion of filling. Meh. read more

Well, this is mainly a carry-out restaurant. The food was just ok. The general tso chicken it tasted as though the oil was old that they fried it in. I am sorry but the egg rolls were not for my taste. Happy family was tasty and plenty. Lo mein was dry but had plenty of beef and shrimp. It is clean looking. We ordered vegetable chow main, family style been curd and green beans. The food was fresh and seasoned just right. There was just enough light and tasty sauce with no goopy sauce like most carry out Chinese places give you. Even though it was delivery, it was still hot and fresh with the green beans just the right amount of crispy. This is our go to place from now. This is by far the worst takeout I've had. The egg drop soup had a gelatinous consistency. The Kung pow was breaded and the meat was mushy and the after taste was horrible. The general's chicken was so bland and lacked sauce. The crab Rangoon was probably the only thing that was good. To top this off... the food was over an hour late. The first time I came here - I just happened to stumble upon it. And what a lucky coincidence that I did! The food is always delicious and clean tasting. My favorites are Kung Pao Shrimp and Mongolian beef. I love that the shrimp in the Kung Pao Shrimp is pretty decent sized as opposed to other places that give you tiny shrimps. Just thinking about it makes me hungry . This place has become my #1 go to Chinese restaurant . Would definitely recommend! read more

We got a flyer in the mail and decided to check out the food. We ordered delivery online and the food came in about 28 minutes during the dinner hour, so we were pretty impressed. I got the chicken pad thai and my roommate got the beef and broccoli. They gave us a ton of food-the to-go containers were packed. The food was a good flavor and we have enough to make two meals out of it. The peanut sauce didn't have that overpowering "fake" peanut butter taste to it. We had to add a little salt, but I'd rather add the salt myself than have food over-salted. Our total came to about $10.50 each because they only do dinner portions on Sundays. The delivery charge was only $1! We will probably be ordering from here again. read more

I've given this place several chances and ultimately am disgusted.. first 2/3 orders were fine, good portion, fast delivery, appropriate pricing(chicken/beef lo mein). Wanted something different next time so I tried the chicken and broccoli, which tasted fine, but upon further inspection I found what appeared to be a grub or some type of maggot looking bug. Now, I tried to convince myself it was just a piece of garlic or other seasoning or something but even my boyfriend who will eat almost anything agreed that THERE WERE EYES LOOKING BACK AT US. A few weeks went by and we decided to give this place another shot. I ordered chicken fried rice and received warm at best, STALE and MOLDY food. Yes. Stale and hard like it was days, dare I say weeks old and the chicken was MOLDY. Again tried convincing myself maybe it was just some coloring from the red onions they add... alas, almost every other piece of chicken was tinged blue and I was sick to my stomach all day the following day. Not sure how this place has received the highest rating out of all the Chinese places in Manassas but I will never be back. read more

Had a local favorite closer to home it was a hit and miss under the new ownership/management this past year had to say sayonara ya'll and that jazz sadly enough. So thanks to yelp I bit the bullet and tried this place out per the reviews and so glad I did! First impressions always count ya'll and this place rocked it from appearance to how they packaged up the "to go" order etc... Here's the breakdown... General Tso Chicken (good sized portion sauce was spot on best part broccoli even balanced not just a crown or two like others I've encountered because we all need our veggies right?!) Same could be said for the Kung Pao Chicken just the right amount of nuts added not overwhelming but veggies spot on! Vegetable Egg Rolls light and crispy cooked just right not greasy ya know what I'm saying? Hot and Sour Soup really hit the spot tasty not bland two thumbs up on that.
