I stopped in here after a day of running errands. I'm so glad I did. I needed something that gave me a home feeling and this did just that. It's in a good location with a lot of things near by plenty of parking. I was greeted as soon as I entered. Since this was my first time here I had questions and he answered them and was very very patient with me. The menu has pictures on the wall so I love that I can see what I am getting before ordering. I felt very welcomed so I decided to dine in. The food came out hot and it was delicious. It's small but cute inside and very clean. I ordered the TC-1 triple combo with Jja Jang Myun, Jjam Bbong and Tang Soo Yook. It came with dry noodle, seafood soup noodle and tangy sweet pork slightly fried. They used to be good. Like really good. But not anymore. Food taste is getting worse, service is getting worse. Especially the lady who worked today on 04/24/2025, when the restaurant first opened, I was always satisfied every time I visited during the first six months. But recently, the quality of the food has been declining, and today's visit was especially disappointing. My wife ordered the Seafood Gan Jjajang, but it only had four tiny shrimp about the size of a thumbnail and just two small pieces of squid. In the past, she had ordered the Seafood Jjamppong, and even that had more ingredients than what's shown in the menu photo now. It seems like they've stopped using the large shrimp with the head still on. I ordered my favorite dish, the Sichuan Gan Jjajang, but the cashier mistakenly rang it up as the Seafood Gan Jjamppong. When I pointed it out, they insisted that the Sichuan Gan Jjajang wasn't even on the menu and made it sound like it was my fault. Only after I showed them that it was listed on the menu did they agree to change the order. As for the taste... it was supposed to be Sichuan-style, but it wasn't spicy at all. It just tasted like they sprinkled a bit of chili powder from the table on top. Is that really supposed to be Sichuan Gan Jjajang? I used to go all the way to Manassas because the service was always friendly and the food was good, even though it was a bit far. But now, I think it's better to just eat at another restaurant closer to Centreville. Also, no apology at all for the order mix-up, and the staff seemed really unprofessional. The cashier didn't seem to have any experience with taking orders or customer service. They even raised their voice at some foreign customers who came to pick up their food, asking for their names in a very aggressive tone. It would be nice if the staff could be more polite. read more

They also looked like they were struggling with their POS and ordering system. The Tang Soo Yook 탕수육 is on the chewier/softer side, whereas jangwon's is crunchier. Both are good IMO. I took a gamble ordering door dash from this place, and I was pleasantly satisfied. Don't get me wrong. I wasn't looking for the best Korean-Chinese food in VA or whatever was their slogan. I just wanted some typical Korean food done right. Galbi (the best meat at Korean BBQ) Bibimbap (rice with mushrooms, vegetables and fried egg) is what I ordered. It came sealed like bubble tea, nice portion, was freshly made and piping hot. It was delicious! It also came with side dishes (banchan) kimchi, radishes and red sauce (gochugang). The meat was a little sweet and had bones in it (grilled rib meat), which I wasn't expecting, but I just ate around the bones and everything was A-OK. Recommended. I'd go back. You can either order through the QR code and pay online or order at the counter. They'll bring the food to you, however everything else is self serve. So utensils, water, napkins, sauce caddies, etc. you get yourself. The owner is really friendly and accommodating. We had the kkangpung mandoo and asked for the sauce on the side. The spicy and sweet chili sauce that it came with was good. We also got a large pork tangsooyuk with the sauce on the side. It was really good. I love how it's fried at this place. Jajjang myun was fantastic; bokum bap and jjampong were not so good. Payment was unpleasant - server expected a 20% tip for less than great service and was upset when I adjusted it to 18.5% (still a $15 tip, nothing to sneeze at) and it was awkward to do it in front of her on a handheld payment device. I admit I dislike it when a 20% tip is automatically presented and I have to adjust it. Not sure when the restaurant industry is going to figure that out. This place is a new sino-korean place that opened up in Manassas and I'm a fan. Sino-Korean food is basically Korean Chinese food. A few staples of these types of places includes jajjangmyun, jjampong, and tangsooyouk which are all found here. I love to hit this place up for lunch and get the tangjjamyun combo which comes in a bowl with a divider, tangsooyouk on one side and jajjangmyun on the other. They are more modern than the joongmi in Annandale and the bowls come sealed just like when you get bubble tea which is pretty cool. I see Koreans eating here frequently and it's a mix of older and younger people. The online ordering had some issues when they first opened but they've since fixed all that up. I wasn't a big fan of their kanpoongi but I think it's really hard to get that dish right. I've never seen a good version of it in VA. This is the first place I've seen that offered white jjambong and spicy tangsooyouk. Will definitely make this a part of my restaurant rotation. read more
