It's better than Chipotle any day of the year. It had a lot of flavor with the Yum Yum sauce added. It was like they cooked it with some sauce and then topped it with Yum Yum sauce. It was perfect. Service (3/5): Service wasn't the fastest considering we were the only ones in the place and they only had 1 online order before us. It took about 10-15 mins to get our 2 chicken bowls. We thought it was a bit long considering Chipotle can get the food out in the time it takes you to walk down the aisle. Overall, it was a tasty bowl. I did feel that the portion was a little off though. There was a ton of rice- in comparison to the vegetables and protein- but then agin this is a rice bowl. Some people wouldn't mind half the bowl being rice. Also there was a ton of sauce that the protein was drowning in. Again, some people like the sauce over powering everything, but for me it was too much. Next time I would probably get a salad bowl or request light on the sauce. I like the concept, and the food is fresh and plentiful. I didn't find it too flavorful spice wise, but I'm definitely wanting to try other dishes. I got the white meat chicken bowl with white rice, wonton, cucumbers, and the yum yum sauce. The chicken was chicken breast cut into half dollar size pieces (I was expecting more like shredded chicken I think). It was good, but I think the next time I'll try the tofu or shrimp bowl, and a different kind of rice or noodle. I also got the fried chicken bao which, I love the idea of. It was nice and crunchy, the bao was soft and fresh, the cucumber gave it extra crunch and I liked the sauce. But, I could taste the oil from the fried chicken, and the chicken itself was bland. I would order it again though - I did enjoy it. I'll be back to try other menu items, because again, I love the concept, and I bet the other offerings are even more tasty than what I ordered. I've ordered from Grubhub every time I've eaten from this restaurant, and the food has arrived hot each time, so that isn't the issue. The food here simply isn't good. I've tried this restaurant at least 3 times, and each time the same issues occur: The appetizers are cooked perfectly well, and yet are absolutely tasteless. Just bland! I've had every variation of the steamed buns, the pancakes, and the spring rolls. Same problem, every time. The bowls are the same each and every time as well- a melange of salt and grease with literally zero other flavors. It doesn't matter which sauce you order, either- it will still taste like the same greasy pile of nothing. It's inedible. I have yet to desire finishing any bowl I've ever ordered.
