DON'T PAY FOR DISRESPECT!!! The girl that works the phone and register was very rude. Beware they try to talk to you with no respect. I ordered over the phone. When I got there for pick up, I asked for ketchup. The girl was very disrespectful, saying that I should've ask for ketchup when I ordered. When I checked her, she quieted. I would've asked for the manager but it wouldn't have made a difference. I should've gotten my money back but they would've screwed that up too. If that business can't respect their customers, they need to go. I'm NEVER giving them my business again, and I suggest you don't either. F@&k em!! Buy black or white or asian, but not China Wok. When in to have lunch today and poor service order chicken chow mein found out I was getting chicken lo mein they charge me for the lunch special and then afterwards told me the lunch special was over with and wanted to charge me more money after they already took my money so I decided to get a refund and I left hungry never experienced something like that before I want be coming back here any time soon. Just your average Chinese takeout place! Nothing special. I came here during lunch one day and got a lunch special. I had ordered online and got the pork Lo mein. Their online ordering process makes you pick a rice type, and I just clicked white assuming they wouldn't give me ride considering I had ordered the Lo Mein. Instead, half of my bowl cake full of white rice and the other half was my order. This was annoying but for the price ($7) I can't really complain. The lunch special also comes with a drink. The consistency isn't 100% - sometimes they have slight off nights, but the quality ranges from pretty good to great, and the prices are absurdly affordable. The staff is polite and efficient. I love their eggfoo young with jumbo shrimp , shrimp egg roll, chicken Lome in and shrimp fried rice with Juno shrimp. It is hard to come by good Chinese food or at least the American version. Even when they changed hands the food for the most part stayed the same. After moving to DC a few months ago, we were on the hunt for a go-to Chinese place -- and definitely failed at least a handful of times before we found this one. Great portions, and solid General Tso's and lo mein. We recently tried starting to eat less meat, so I can vouch for both their chicken and tofu General Tso's -- the sauce has a distinctive pepper kick, and doesn't have the chemically taste of some Tso's I've had. I am highly allergic to garlic, and although they are convenient to work, I avoid this lunch spot. They have an open kitchen with bins of cheap soy sauce. They add extra onions on their cheap fried rice with ultra tiny shrimp which much be canned from watching restaurant shows. They only offer white rice. I ordered food from here off door dash because it was free delivery over $15. I ordered general tso's chicken with fried rice and a steak and cheese egg roll but had to add spring rolls and extra chicken to get to $15. I got everything within 25 minutes and took the food out and realized I was missing the fried rice. I called the store and explained I was missing the fried rice and they not only delivered it for me, but they upgraded it to a large! And yes it could have been the door dash driver that misplaced the fried rice, but this restaurant replaced it no questions asked. They placed the order through door dash and when I went to give the driver cash he informed me they even tipped him! Very nice business and great customer service. As for the food - it is exactly what you expect from fast food chinese. Nothing amazing, but just what you need for comfort food. The rice was actually better than most! read more

This restaurant can do a lot better considering just a few months ago, I wouldn't purchase food from any other Chinese Food establishment unless it was China Wok. My family, a few friends and I have all underwent a less than favorable experience in the last few weeks. Upon ordering, General Tso's chicken for Dinner last week, everyone had the same complaint...the chicken is chewy and hard, it's extremely dry and obviously recycled (perhaps from a cancelled order) I was disgusted to the point of no return. I couldn't believe what I was experiencing such an unacceptable meal from my once FAVORITE RESTAURANT! Even the sauce had turned into jelly because it was served cold. I hope someone from this restaurant responds to this review. I am no longer a customer of your restaurant however I hope that for your other customers you upgrade your Chef and your food. I have never written a reivew before but this place is so bad i just had to let others know. It is near my job so i gave them a try. I ordered the bourbon chicken lunch special. I have no idea what they gave me but it in no way resembled bourbon chicken. I had 2 bites and callled the restaurant and asked if i could return it for something else. They agreed to exchange it and they gave me general tso chicken. I didnt think anyting could be worse than the bourbon chicken but this was. When I cut open the peices there was literraly no chicken, it was just small deep fried balls of dough. When i scrapped off the " sauce" they peices had this odd brown color. This " chcken " tasted like it was sitting in the back of a freezer for about 5 years.
