the service is good. very friendly and professional. The food is tasty but if you go after 12:30 when the lunch crowd is gone, the food is luke warm. I was told one time to stir the food the get the hot food at bottom to the top. That does work most of the time. I was also told to let them know and they will heat it up for us by giving them our plate of food. I just don't like that idea. When we tell them some don't offer to heat it up or wait for fresh food. That makes me feel like they just don't care. For just under $38 for two people who don't like Luke warm food, they should care more. I always compliment the chef (very rare for me) when he is refilling the great selections. Beats China Flag all to heck. Like to go around 5:00 p.m. Seems like that's when they are restocking their selections for the evening crowd, and everything is hot. Very polite and attentive ethnic staff, which I much prefer in an oriental restaurant. My favorite is their Gen. Tso chicken. Not as good anywhere else, and believe me, I know. The line has delightful surprises like huge iced down boiled shrimp, scrumptious crab rangoon, hot fried chicken wings, and better-than-Blue Bell ice cream. This buffet style restaurant has been a staple in the Blanchard area for many years and for good reason. The food is amazing and the service is friendly. I hope this place continues to stay open for many years to come and continue to thrive. Best crab rangoons in the Shreveport area too! General Tso's is spicy, but amazing! I'm glad this location has managed to survive with all that's been going on. That alone is a testimony for how amazing this place truly is given that the Shreveport/Blanchard area keeps this place alive. The owners know how to run a good business and treat their customers exceptional. The food the last few times post a Covid restrictions on buffets has been hot, fresh and replenished timely. I love this place! I think Covid is a fear mongering thing that isn't as bad as they say BUT I love how they ask you to wear gloves to serve yourself at the buffet. I was misled by the reviews I read before dining here and decided to leave one to help any unsuspecting person thinking of dining at this establishment. My wife and I went to eat here for the first time since moving to the area. We had a very nice waiter, but that is really the only good thing I can say about this place. The food was cold and hard. I had gnats buzzing above my head while I was eating. The booths were peeling and were uncomfortable. My wife went to the bathroom and told me that they were absolutely disgusting. My stomach hurt for two days after eating here. Overall, the waiter was very nice, the cold hard food really was not great at all, gnats started lurking around my head once I had begun eating, the booths were falling apart as well as uncomfortable and the bathrooms were extremely nasty. I can only imagine what the kitchen must look like in the back and speculate about how the food is being handled. To top it all off, when checking out I asked the cashier if they had military discounts. The cashier said yes and asked for my ID. She gave me $1.10 off of a $28.79 ticket. I do not know how much their military discount claims to be, but simple math shows that I was not even given a full 4% off of my meal. I will not be returning to this place ever again. I really hope this review helps you! You have been forwarned, but I encourage you to just go see for yourself. Now if you really want a good buffet I recommend just going to a casino. It may cost more, but it is worth it. If you want good Chinese food then I suggest trying Beijing Restaurant because it is super clean and the food is insanely awesome! It is very good if you avoid the shrimp. All of the shrimp is cooked without being cleaned. I prefer not to eat the poop shoot.

Super nice owners and great staff. As a pregnant woman during the pandemic I am hesitant to go to a buffet but I actually still frequent this restaurant. I feel like I need to give a review because there's a few negative ones on here. We are regulars and have eaten here for years. They have a good buffet any time of day and that can't be easy. My favorite time to visit is lunch on Sundays. They are also generous with take out orders. We enjoy the family atmosphere and may dine there tonight! read more

This was my first time visiting this restaurant and probably my last time. The food was cooked properly and pretty tasty, unfortunately most of their food was cooked with way too much oil. Which gave the food an oily and grease taste that will lead to the white throne later. The restaurant is very small with three buffet line. Every time I've gone in there the owner is yelling at her kids and/or there is some other disturbance in there, such as they were remodeling and fixing chairs right in the middle of lunch. Or she will be in the kitchen yelling at someone. When I want to go to lunch or out to eat, I don't want to hear someone yelling all the time or maintenance going on that should be done after hours.
