Well we tried it again because we're looking for a good Chinese restaurant that's closer than Youree. The last two meals we got were not that great so this time we got two different meals. Unfortunately, these were not good either. The food here has an odd taste. I don't know what it is. Many dishes smell fishy, literally, which is an immediate turn off. This time we went the girl who takes the orders did have some of the attitude with me I've seen other reviewers write about. Food isn't good. The place is filthy. Attitude from staff. So great! Fast and hot! We got the General Tso Chicken and the Chicken Lo Mien with egg rolls and crab Rangoon.

I've pass by this restaurant many times, but never stopped until last night. I called ahead and ask if they had a certain item on their menu and the lady seemed to be very nice, however when I walked in and started to ask questions about their menu she clearly became very uncomfortable and brash. I initially thought it may be a language issue, but she clearly she understood me, but I ordered the food anyway. On my way home I called a few people who I know have been there to get their input on the service they received and my last suspicions were confirmed from others who received the same form of service. I considered it a loss of 15 bucks because I wasn't going to take a chance in eating the food and put it in the trash. So, I can't say the food is good or not, however due to the service I received I personally didn't feel comfortable eating the food from there. read more

Came here for a quick lunch. I called in my order. I ordered the lunch specials: shrimp lo mein and General tso's chicken. One meal I ordered the rangoon and the other was egg drop soup. My general tso's was delicious with the rangoon. The lo mein wasn't mine but I tasted it. It was good. The egg drop soup tasted flavorless. I was trying to order food for my father and was spoken to with such disdain that I was forced to hang the phone up. Due to the language barrier I called twice and even apologized for calling back for a second time. I knew that the lady over the phone had an attitude and refused to have one back. As I asked her about the orange chicken entree and the side of shrimp fried rice she proceeded to say, "it's $3, do you NOT understand?!" I was taken aback and disgusted by her nasty and unruly attitude. I will never order food from there again and will also tell others about my very bad experience with this restaurant that is over priced and now has a lady with a bad attitude over the phone. Don't speak to people like they're dumb or you won't have much of a business when the customers stop coming. China Legend recently opened its doors and is now serving all the usual dishes you'd find in pretty much any Chinese restaurant. They've got appetizers, soups, chicken dishes, beef dishes, seafood, noodles, and the list goes on and on. Don't forget combination plates and lunch specials. But is it any good? In my opinion, it's just fine. Don't count on having a mind-blowing culinary experience (despite the "legend"), but if you want some tasty grub while you're on the go, then this is a good spot for you. I have ordered pick-up twice now, and each time my food was cooked fast, was hot, and flavorful. On one occasion my order was not completely correct, but I think that's because the person taking orders that night didn't really speak English. My second experience went more smoothly. I think most of us have a generalized idea of the ingredients to fried rice and how it usually looks. My particular order had rice that was dark and pumpkin colored, no scrambled egg bits whatsoever, about 5 hard crusty peas and 3or4 carrot cubes. The chicken strips were rubbery and seriously undercooked. No soy sauce flavor at all and huge solid chunks of purple onions the size of hockey pucks. What happened?! Great value for the money. Go in to order lunch and you will be taking 1/2 of it home for dinner. Food is cooked to order nothing pre-made as far as I can tell so freshness is not an issue. The one complaint I have is that there is a bit of a language barrier to overcome between the customers and staff. read more

I placed a order for garlic shrimp and when I got home it was full of Broccoli I. Which I am allergic to. I called to say what I ordered and the employee told me that it comes with broccoli. I asked where on the menu does it say that. She said it doesn't say it on menu , next time tell them no broccoli. But it the menu doesn't say it , how do we know not to tell them. They offer a broccoli and shrimp. But we did not order that. When I try to explain to worker that if I wanted the broccoli and shrimp I would have ordered it. Them the worker hung up the phone on me. Why because they screwed up and did not want to make my order right..,never even offered. We will never recommend this place ever.
