I got wonton soup and chicken wings and both were out of this world. The wonton soup was some of the best I've ever had and the broth was so flavorful and delicious. The chicken wings were out of this world, crispy and super flavorful. My only regret was that I didn't order more food! Food was bad. We'll never order from here again. First of all we received one correct dish and one we didn't order. Who knows how that happened. The eggrolls were very greasy; the pork fried rice had NO flavor and one or two tiny pieces of pork; the kung pow chicken with peanuts was horribly greasy, overcooked, over breaded (was there chicken in there?) and lacked enough sauce to give it enough flavor. I lived across the street from this place for many years. It was my go to place. Not just because of convenience but because it was consistently good. It's easy to think that all Chinese take out is created equal but it is not, my friends. Now that I live in Queens, I have yet to find a Chinese take out place in my neighborhood that doesn't make my digestive system go haywire. Needless to say, I miss this place very much. Best General Tso's I've ever had in my life. I prefer it to be sweeter than spicier, so that's just me. It's pretty much all I ever order. People complain about the staff being a bit snippy, which is fair, but as long as you're polite they treat you just fine. They'll hang up on you after you give you their order, so you better have it right, but that's part of the fun. They're pretty quick at getting your order ready and the Wonton Soup is also pretty good. $10 credit card minimum! read more

I had a hard time deciding if I would give this 3 or 4 stars. I decided that I would go back next time so I felt it earned 4. The food was very good. We ordered a ton of food at the counter and it was ready to go in about 15 minutes. One of the specials was pineapple chicken. It was pretty good. They general tso's is a little different that I am used to (not as brown and gooey) but still very good. What really differentiates them from the terrible chinese food place i usually go to is the crab rangoon. It was very soft and the shell wasnt hard from being fried. delicious. The place is no frills for sure. There are 2 tables and 4 chairs, which is fine to wait for food, but not to eat there. The place is a little shabby, but everyone behind the counter is very busy cleaning and preparing which give me a lot of piece of mind. I am not a chinese food snob, i dont care how "authentic" it is, etc. I am not even sure if this was authentic (the menu says it is, but who am I to judge). New to the area, and this place is less than a mile from my apartment. Thankfully the food here is pretty darn good for a cheap take out place! I can't rate their delivery since I always just go and pick it up. But I like their hot and sour soup and their shrimp lo mein. The General Tso's chicken is about the same as any old take out place. I called to place an order for pick up. The lady was having trouble hearing me. After adjust my phone, I placed my order-1 broccoli with brown rice, 1 half chkn with fries. I paused in between each request to ensure she was able to hear me. Right after the second request, she says it'll be ready in 20 mins and just hangs right up. I was right next door getting a pedicure so I was able to go there and speak to her in person. At the counter was a young man. I told him a lady answered the phone and abruptly hung up, I wasn't finished ordering. Then out from the back was the lady. She started yelling at me. "I could not hear you!" At this point I'm in absolute disbelief that I have someone yelling at me in front of my two boys. I asked, "why are you yelling at me?" She repeated, "I could not hear you". I pointed out, she was able to hear me because she did in fact have my 2 orders ready and was able to tell me how long it'd take to get ready. I also said to her that it is common curtesy and good customer service to wait until someone is finished talking before hanging up. She continued to yell and curse. So decided to not purchase this food. In my 38 years on earth, I've never been treated so poorly. I can only imagine the "love" she pours into this food.
