Ordered takeout. We ordered egg rolls, chicken lo neon and kung po chicken. They said 20 minutes and they were dead spot on. Food was good. I particularly liked the egg rolls as the were crispy on the outside and rich on the inside. Our main dishes were excellent. Value for money good! Portions sizes are good! read more

Just like all the other reviewers have said, this place served very subpar Chinese food. But it was the only Chinese restaurant close by to where we were vacationing, so we gave it a shot. I always feel like you can tell how good the food will be by the wonton soup. Just the color alone gives away the taste. Light in color, it's weak tasting. Dark color, rich in flavor. We pulled the soup out and the color wasn't even recognizable for wonton soup. Unfortunately the flavor matched. It was so weak in flavor and I couldn't even put my finger on it, what it tasted like. Not wonton soup, that's for sure. So disappointing. I went with a safe dish and got the boneless spare ribs combo with fried rice. This was decent and edible. Rice was bland and the egg roll wasn't anything to write home about. My husband ordered the bourbon chicken. He said it was okay, just super sweet. My son ordered the pork lo mein and fried rice combo. This was actually the winner of the night. It was really flavorful and packed full of vegetables and meat. It was so tasty I ate his leftovers for breakfast. They definitely give you decent portions. The prices are pretty average. If you're desparate for Chinese and don't want to take a long drive, this place could possibly satisfy the itch. Just don't go in with too high expectations and avoid the wonton soup. read more

There is little choice once you get south of "the turn" in Melbourne Beach. If you are desperate to eat SOMETHING and don't want to drive for Chinese, OK. But this is really very run of the mill. Coming from the NY area, where you can trip over a decent Asian restaurant every 500 yds, and find great ones every mile, this place does not have a chance to rate! I had hot and sour soup. Neither spicy nor sour. I am not even sure what it was. It was "hot" though and not terrible, just very little flavor. My "entree" was shrimp lo-mein. I should have the other reviews first. I don't know, maybe due to the higher percentage of seniors here, using any spice at all is forbidden? This had no flavor at all. A good amount of decent shrimp, though, and that was the redeeming value. On the plus side, its close by, and they are fast and pleasant. But please, try and put some character in the dishes!! This place has come a long way. I remember ordering a few years ago and it was not good. I didn't go back until a few weeks ago and WOW. We've ordered the garlic chicken, which is great always. The Mongolian beef, delicious and a generous portion. The General Tsos is fresh and delicious. Hot and spicy soup has a generous amount of pork, however, not very spicy. Still delicious. The sweet and sour chicken is great as well. Breaded perfectly and good amount of chicken. The only thing we've ordered that wasn't great was the steamed dumplings. They haven't been wonderful but we order enough food that it's irrelevant and they're still palatable. Overall, this place has been great every time and we have gone back three or four times now. Hate to be negative but disappointed once again. We ordered Mongolian Beef and egg rolls. The egg rolls were doughy and tasteless. The Mongolian Beef has a delicious flavor but has about 70% onions, 20% liquid and 10% beef. We were told 35 minutes wait time but it was actually 60. I have zero problem waiting 60 minutes, just don't like showing up at the 35 minutes I was told. read more

We had left to go home from Kissimmee without having breakfast. We had our dog with us so there were not many places to go to. We stopped in a strip mall and saw this place. I looked up Yelp reviews which were mixed but over two years old. Well, I ordered an eggroll and wonton soup which was enough to hold me over till I got home. The place is super clean with friendly service but that's where it ends. This is strictly a takeout place so we ate in the car. The eggroll tasted old. It was a pork roll despite the fact I saw no pork. It had to be the worst eggroll I ever had, devoid of any taste. It did taste like a used dishe rag. The wonton soup was luke warm and was mainly rain water.....no flavor what so ever. The wontons we're very heavy and doughy. What was inside was horrible tasteless meat. I gave one star because that's the least you can give else I would have given zero stars. Never again!!! read more

Moved Beachside Melbourne recently and found this place in the Publix shopping strip. I normally decide or judge the quality of food at a Chinese or Thai takeout by their boneless pork and wonton soup. Unfortunately both were not good. The BBQ sauce tasted funny and the pork was rubbery/chewy. Soup had little flavor and tasted unusual. Wontons were bland and doughy. My dogs were happy to finish off the pork and threw out the soup. But everyone has different tastes so try it for yourself. I'll stick with Thai Thai and make the drive. read more

We've been ordering from China Wok for years because they don't disappoint. Our food tonight was hot and fresh like always with plenty of it. We have vegetarians and non vegetarians in our family and everybody's satisfied when we order from here. We love the veggie spring rolls especially my 9 year old. I'll start off by saying we live in an area where there not a lot of choices close by. As far a Chinese, this is the only game in town. We've been ordering here for years and I never understood the so-so reviews until tonite. We typically order something simple like Schezwan Chicken, Schezwan shrimp, chicken and broccoli along with fried rice. It had always been fresh and tasty and in most cases when I've showed up they are still cooking the order... Ohhh.... not tonight my friends....went way out of my comfort zone and ordered bourbon chicken , mongolian beef, chicken and broccoli, BBQ spare ribs and pork fried rice. All of it 100% horrible... In order; bourbon chicken was meh, but way, way too sugary. The mongolian beef was nasty. Mushy beef, unbelievable amount of sugar, followed by a boring hot spice after taste along with a bunch of over cooked onions. The chicken and broccoli was void of ANY flavor whatsoever. The fried rice tasted like it was two days old. Both the bourbon chicken and mongolian beef were "chef specialties" Fist time I've ever taken Chinese food left overs (and there were plenty) and heaved them in the garbage. I'm putting the personal no go stamp on this place and will keep driving another 15-20 minutes up the the road... Haru's is the place to go 3 stars only because I've had better here.. read more

Its alright. Some of their stuff is way better than other things. Not wild about their lo mein but the mongolian beef is really very good (as long as you like onions). Boneless spare ribs are good also and its a good portion size. I think if they had more traffic it would be easier to maintain quality freshness with the lo mein and vegetables. Typical strip mall American-Chinese fair. It usually takes longer to complete than they say when you order so drive slowly. The boneless spare ribs are addictive, wonton soup, pork fried rice, four seasons, chicken lo mein, spring rolls, shrimp and broccoli are all good. Great food and they don't use MSG (I asked the owners who are also the cooks - husband/wife). This is a family run business - and they care about your food. My kids and all their friends ask for it whenever they are over. The serving sizes are big - in truth its cheaper to eat there then it is to shop and cook at home. Some of our favorites are; appetizers - teriyaki beef and the steamed dumplings main courses: beef or chicken with brocoli, szechuan chicken or beef if you ask they will do a curry sauce even though its not on the menu in truth the "eat-in" environment is sparse - but we always get take-out so its not an issue. read more

Only Chinese restaurant in area, so doesn't have to be great...and isn't. Food is good but not great; atmosphere is dingy and cramped -- only two tables and very hot so definitely a take-out place. Owners are hard-working but unfriendly, barely speaking to even regular customers. If another Chinese restaurant opened in south beaches, my guess is that China Wok would go under. read more

My husband and I have ordered from here countless times. Sometimes we call in to pick up, but usually we order inside and then buy some groceries in Publix next door while we wait.
