Tried their teriyaki beef sticks as an appetizer. They were very thin, dry and overcooked. Their house special rice was lacking a decent amount of anything besides the rice. The happy family entree was just ok, the scallops were really rubbery and there was very little vegetables. WOW! We live right near this place and have never tried it. We were coming back from a long trip late at night, and our guests asked for Chinese food. They were open until 10pm, so we gave them a go. Legit delicious! Dumplings, Mongolian beef, shrimp fried rice, lo mein - all made to expectations. The only odd thing was how yellow the rice was. Like - it looked like someone dumped a bunch of turmeric or yellow dye in it. Not sure what that's about, but it was still tasty! I think we found our new go-to spot! read more

My family has been going to Jade Palace for almost 30 years and somehow it took till December of 2023 for me to finally come here but I can finally say I have done it. Jade Palace has to be one of the few Chinese sit down restaurant I have been that specialize in Chinese and not Dim Sum with Chinese. They are for sure on another level then your typical take out Chinese restaurant too. We come in for an early dinner and were quickly seated. We sat at a large round table. I loved there where was a glass circle that spins around for easy sharing too. I will say it was for sure used. They also bring out the little fried crunchies to snack on before your food comes out. There also is an amazing hot mustard on the table too. So if you are stuffed up this will clear you out for sure. Now when looking over the menu you will notice there isn't as much as you would expect but trust me they can make it. If you don't see something you think they do/should have make sure to ask cause there is a good chance they got it. I went the Sesame Beef which isn't my normal order for sure but most Chinese places around me don't have any crispy beef dishes. Our food quickly started coming out as it was ready and you could tell it was fresh because each dish came out so hot. My Sesame Beef was amazing. A light batter on the beef that was perfectly crispy. The beef was also so tender and wasn't tender anywhere with any bite. This is the best crispy beef dish I have had in the States. I'm going to have to make sure I eat at Jade Palace more when visiting family cause this is some of the best Chinese I have ever had. read more

I ordered sweet and sour pork as an alternative to spare ribs. It was a good call. I got a large portion and enough rice for two meals.

The food was surprisingly good. Had fish fillets with ginger scallion sauce. It took awhile to make but was worth it. Beef Chow Fun. extremely surprised since the pandemic I can't get a decent chow fun in NYC. The noodles there were over cooked and mostly gluteness. These were cooked almost perfectly and they were generous with the beef which was seasoned and cooked well. The vegetable were string beans in a brown sauce. They had a good snap to them. The wonton soup had a deep colored broth that was good. The wontons were not that good too much wrapper not enough filling. Egg drop soup had bits of chicken in it. A different texture to what I am used to but it did taste good. The pricing wasn't too bad and the service was ok. Our server although well meaning wasn't the best but it wasn't from lack of effort. My husband's family has been coming to Jade Palace for years and I finally got to try it out. We were a party of 7, went early for dinner on a Friday and walked right in. We got seated at one of the tables with a lazy susan, perfect for sharing. We were brought water and some crispy chips with dipping sauces... the sauces were so good! One of the sauces in particular will clear out your sinuses. For my meal I ordered the honey chicken which was on the menu online but not on the menu in the restaurant which was a pretty common occurrence. We very quickly found out that the online menu and the restaurant menu did not match. However, there were several things that they were still able to make from the online menu, just not everything so ordering was a bit tricky for us planners. The honey chicken was delicious, not the best I've ever had but still very good. I also ordered the wonton soup which was what you would expect from wonton soup, good but nothing groundbreaking going on. I know my husband's family will be back and I am hoping to join them again soon. read more

Have not been here in years but the place was very nice/cozy. The food was good we started with an appetizer crab Rangoon and fried dumplings. I ordered for myself the house fried rice and my husband had general Tso and white rice. The general Tso was very good. The White Rice was so fluffy and tasty. The waitress was very nice she brought our appetizers together. And the food came on time but we were full from the appetizers. So we asked for a to-go container put the food in that and left a little to eat remaining. So all in all everything was good. Also, the sweet tea was perfect. Absolutely great. We had not been in a while and for some in our group decades. Our waitress Cody was on top of things and very patient as we were not the most decisive group. We ordered a crab rangoon app....meh to be honest but serviceable and the low point. All of our entrees came out together and hot. The temp and the heat in the Schezuon Beef were perfect. The other entrees were all well seasoned and delicious. The portions were big and so we have lunch for tomorrow. All for about $22 a head with tip. Check out the photos.... Placed a pickup order online. Was prompted to leave a tip before checkout could be completed, then when I went to pay at the restaurant, I was prompted to leave a tip again while signing the credit card slip. At pickup, asked for extra duck sauce to accompany the spring rolls and egg rolls we ordered. The cashier appeared to be adding the extra sauce to the bag, but there were only two of those little packages in the bag when food was unpacked at home. Ordered Moo Shu chicken- menu stated that the dish comes with four pancakes, but our order came with only three. Had we known, would have ordered extra pancakes. Overall, the food was bland/under seasoned and overpriced. Will not patronize Jade Palace again. read more

I've been going to Jade Palace for 40 years. My last four visits have been less than acceptable. Each time I have ordered house fried rice there's barely any protein provided. The service is consistently always pleasant courteous and fast. This place has old school style service... The kind that is a lost art these days. The food is consistent quality, always a fantastic temperature, The flavors are well balanced and the quality does not decline with the rise of the cost and inflation (unfortunately unlike many other businesses..but not this one). If you don't want to play the trial and error game in this current economy, then do yourself a favor and just come here for your Chinese food all the time. Also notable that the rice here is the best rice I've ever had in my entire life. The WHITE rice actually has full flavor... And rice enthusiasts know exactly what I mean when I say that. I actually enjoyed most of the food from here. Way better than most of the Chinese restaurants in a strip, by a grocery store. While some items weren't perfect, you could tell they really try. I've only been twice but both times were for dim sum. Dim sum is like tapas style, order to share and the dishes come out as they're ready and not all at once. I think they're the only place in the area that has it (please let me know if there are any other dim sum places in the area!), otherwise we head to Orlando to quench our craving. Overall most of the dishes are pretty good but it has not been consistent. My friend goes more regularly than me and she says it can be hit or miss but the miss isn't terrible. My favorite dim sum dishes are turnip cakes, steam bbq pork bun, rice noodle rolls (banh cuon), siu mai, soup dumplings and shrimp dumplings. The soup dumplings here are okay but aren't like anything you'd find at a soup dumpling house in Cali. The service we've had is pretty good, you just need to flag them down if you need anything and they'll take care of you. The lighting is low to medium, overall pretty quiet and spacious inside with an efficient feel to the service. So overall Chinese food but it won't be the best you've ever had but best for the area. read more

I feel bamboozled. I chose this restaurant based on the good reviews others had left. But I have to say this was by far the worst Chinese food I have ever had. The pineapple shrimp was very tomato-y. The "sauce" was bright red and super runny. The chicken chow fun was greasy, extra chewy, and had no flavor. The general tso chicken was terrible; so much so that we actually threw it away. That has never happened. The egg drop soup was clear with no taste whatsoever. Don't even bother with the egg rolls either. Spare yourself and go somewhere else. I honestly don't know how this place got anything more than 1 star for taste. read more
