Ordered take out PuPu Platter, Qt of Pork Fried Rice, and General Chicken. Food was ready when I arrived. $60. Oil tasted fresh. 2 Spring roll good and fresh. 2Tempura Shrimp 3Wings very good. 2 Beef stick and pile of pork strips could be improved. PF Rice was good but I think they might use Jasmine Rice? Odd texture for white rice. General Chicken was the best I ever had in Florida. Chicken dredged in WC Flour so they stayed crispy - with Broccoli in the Hoisun / Garlic sauce and just the right amount of dried chinese red peppers. Just a storefront in a struggling strip mall. Little boy with family started playing with the napkins and plastic spoons with his bare fingers- I told him to stop and he complied. No biggie but put that stuff up higher! Will go again. read more

We ordered vegetarian lo mein. There were very few vegetables. We ordered a 2 spring rolls and we got what looked like fried egg toll.

This is a great place to order Chinese take out in Sebastian! The general tso's chicken, roast pork fried rice, honey chicken are great! The steamed dumplings are big and delicious. Any of the Lo Mein' s are so good. Egg drop soup is very good. They're fast. They tell you 30 minutes but it's ready in 15. Take the chance, you'll enjoy the food. My only complaint is that they don't stick a bag of fried Chinese noodles in with your order. You have to buy them for .50 cents. Chicken Chow Mein or Chop Suey. This is absolutely disgusting, bland, wilted veggies and nothing like i was expecting. The chicken and broccoli is also bad, same sauce. This was our favorite Chinese place to get take out! Unfortunately the last two orders were disappointing in not only flavor but correctness also. We asked for extra sauce in each, we got extra rice to the point that there was more than veg and meat and no extra sauce. We paid for extra egg rolls and crab Rangoons, they were so over cooked they were hard to eat. Had this been a sit down restaurant we would have asked for the meal to be redone. Unfortunately the last time we ordered there it was the same. We always try to give another chance as everyone has a bad day once in a while. So we will most likely try out the others in the area. Really disappointed. Read some reviews and thought I'd get some decent fried rice. I was wrong. 10.00 for a quart of rice with sufficient shrimp but nearly raw. A very small smattering of onion, a few peas and that's about it. The rice was soaking wet and had very little taste. Another quart of what they call pork rice. Little teenie chopped pieces of I don't know what. 20 bucks for something that barely resembled fried rice. I did get 2 orders of wings. They were decent. read more

This a very underrated Chinese takeout. It has been our go to when we want Asian food and also when we don't feel like cooking. It is always ready when I arrive and I live right across the street. Every one is helpful and smiling. The orange chicken is delicious as well as the crab Rangoon and burbon chicken combo. The lomein is outstanding. read more

Was not a big No 1 China fan. We picked up takeout from here on a recent vacation. At first we mostly enjoyed our dinners. My orange chicken was very good and saucy. Then one by one we started having stomach trouble. Not sure what exactly it was but the only common meal between the four of us in my family was our Chinese takeout. Since this is pretty much the only Chinese restaurant in Sebastian we're kind of stuck with this place. I have ordered so many meals from this place and it's never the same any two times you order it. Tonight I placed an order for Kung Pao chicken with an additional order of two spring rolls. So what do I get: three over cooked egg rolls! The eggrolls at this place are absolutely horrible just as a heads up the spring rolls are at least decent but no they had to put three of the dreaded eggrolls with my meal. Also no fortune cookies very poor choice for Chinese I wish somebody in Sebastian would open a decent restaurant for takeout or quick food. read more

the food is good but tonight I order and the there barley any meats it was disappointing.

I can only really comment on a few things. First and foremost, they managed to mess up our order. Thats the biggest reason for three stars, and also the main reason I cant comment on most of the food. We ordered a pupu for four, and they only gave us a 2 person, but we weren't charged for a four, so. We weren't willing to wait (house full of hungry people), but it meant in a house of four adults and two kids under six that not everyone gets everything. The beef lo mein I got to sample as I was feeding the kids. It was decent, and my 5 year old ate her whole plate. The couple bites I got I enjoyed. I would get that again. The only other food I got to sample was the moo shu beef. I asked for it to be spicy and it had a slight heat, but I am a spicy person, I would ask for extra spicy next time (not ruling them out!), my biggest complaint with the moo shu was they wrapped the pancakes with saran wrap. Which ripped as they wrapped. For those that have never had moo shu (I reccomend it), it comes with these almost paper thin pancakes to wrap the delightful filling. When wrapped in ripped saran wrap, the corners of the wrapped pancakes got beyond hard, xouldint be separated, and shredded upon filling. But the filling itself was tasty. Given the range of Florida food, this was good from what I got to try. Wish they had gotten the order right, and wish they had a different method of transporting moo shu pancakes. We haven't ordered take out in a long time so we looked at their website for the menu and ordered off of there. BEWARE outdated menu prices! Just tried No. 1 China for the first time and we really liked the food! We got the egg drop and won ton soups and both had good flavor. We got egg rolls, shrimp toast, and fried won tons and they were cooked just right and were not too greasy. We really liked the rest of the food we ordered as well!
