Very standard Chinese takeout spot. Typical pictures of food across the top, same menu, standard small dining area with sticky floors and tables, stacked up cases of paper products and beverages around the perimeter of the room, you've seen one you've seen them all. The food was however not a let down at all. Everything was delicious. Sesame chicken was crispy with great tasting sauce, sweet and sour pork was perfect and the crab Rangoon was full of filling and terrific. The small young gal handling customers was very polite, easy to understand and a bit frumpy but cute. I would not hesitate to return. read more

The best Chinese food place in Brevard. I have friends who drive all the way from Bayside Lakes to order here. The only thing I could say negative about this place is closed on Tuesdays and it seems that Tuesday is the day I always want Chinese food. They didn't have delivery service available to our hotel room because they were short-staffed, so we ordered food online then picked it up. Our order was correct and ready by the time we arrived. They had several sauces for takeout along with napkins and plastic utensils. We ordered wonton soup (with crispy noodles), egg/veggie fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, and beef with broccoli. I stayed at my friends house in satellite beach and ordered from this take a way as she regularly does. They were friendly and courteous on the phone and said delivery (which costs 2 dollars btw) would be within 40 minute - which it was. The guy who delivered was friendly and the food was hot. I ordered the started of boneless spare ribs - they were good, and the general tso dish, also good and a special dish or fried crispy prawns with veg. My son bought us dinner he had a dinner combo of the house, special lo mein on June 10 when he woke up on June 11 he was very sick. He is still sick 10 days later he hasn't been able to go to work. He has had severe stomach problems and we're going to have to have him hospitalized because he has lost more than 30 pounds. I don't think we will ever eat here again considering the amount of money we have spent trying to get him better. I should have read your restaurant report that you failed due to not storing correctly. Very sad. You were our go to but no more. Just be careful eating here. read more

I have learned, after many orders on various days of the week, that Fri & Sat I have always, without fail, received the freshest most delicious food from here. I must imagine it's bc that is their busiest days where they are banging out fresh food to fill high demand. That being said, they should consider running specials on weekdays to increase revenue without the need to serve old food which can lose customers, or close more weekdays, or minimize the menu options. I have a special order allergic to mushrooms and they make sure that nothing I ever order has any mushrooms in it I was going to order a spring roll one time and they let me know there is mushrooms in it but anything that I do order and choose to eat they make sure the mushrooms are left out and anything else that I don't like great place to eat the only reason I didn't get a five no delivery definitely recommend this place. The food is always consistently good. The shrimp were nice and plump in my entree. The vegetables were cooked ala dente with just a slight crunch. The fried rice is always freshly made, hot and tasty. It's the best Chinese food in Brevard, worth the drive. I like to pick it up and go across the street to the beach and eat it. Check out the wait times on the weekend, 45 minutes because the place is packing it in! What Chinese food place has 45 minute wait times?? It's ALWAYS 15 minutes, no matter what you order, no matter where you are, and no matter how much! This place does volume, and they do deliciousness! Best boneless ribs and fried items. I thought this place was great. Ordered on beyondmenu and delivery showed up 20 min later. Everything was good- general chicken was sweet and tangy, the small wonton soup had 4 huge wontons in it, pork fried rice seemed fresh and loaded w pork, and the house special lo Mein had huge chunks of meat and veggies. The pupu platter was pretty standard- nothing stand out but enjoyed it none the less. Will def order again next time I'm in Melbourne. read more

I was about 21 years old when this place first opened and let me just say that was a long time ago lol, that being said I've been ordering from Number One for many many years, after eating there the first time it brought back memories of New York style Chinese takeout for me. If you know what I mean by that statement then you understand what I'm trying to convey, now that being said I've certainly moved around quite a bit and in my current profession I travel often, but Satellite Beach is home and whenever I'm in the mood for some takeout I order from Number One Chinese, like any other place it has its good days and its bad days, but most times they're good. I'll typically order something off the lunch or dinner menu because there's value in the combos and I'll always order a side of crab rangoon. This place even offers delivery now which back in my day was nonexistent so that's a plus; however, they don't deliver during lunch hours which to me is a huge miss - why wouldn't you do that ? Anyway on to the food I started with the crab rangoon & as always it's nice & crispy on the outside and warm on the inside; however, there is no trace of crab or imitation crab for that matter as you would find in most takeout places it's really just cheese, but it all comes together nicely with the dipping sauce that it's accompanied with so you forget that it's missing crab. My entrée consisted of boneless spare ribs pork fried rice and an egg roll. The pork fried rice as always is cooked to order seasoned decently and never fails. The boneless spareribs are decent you get a lot of chunky pieces some are fattier than others, but none the less they hit the spot it's one of the few combos I order anywhere, the egg roll is nothing to write home about at least it's nice and crispy and a good size mostly just veggie filler and maybe a hint of pork. Overall this place is really just like any other Chinese takeout greasy spoon hangover food type of place you order it over and over because it's comforting or just fills the void for whatever it is that's missing in your day. Lastly regarding the delivery service I've got to say it's pretty prompt I believe they quoted me 25 to 30 minutes, but I honestly don't think it took that long at all and every time the delivery driver has shown up to my door they're polite and courteous with a smile on their face and even good conversation, one can certainly appreciate that. I'm giving them 4 stars not because this place is amazing it's because they're consistent, fast and friendly and I've been coming here for well over 15years so they must be doing something right. Dining in is possible, but there isn't much seating and the place can use a facelift. In my personal opinion 4 or 5 star level means you're clearly in a different culinary range as far as many factors go, but I do value this establishment so I will for go giving them 3 stars, but it's just not 4 or 5 star food if that makes sense. read more
