Ordering online was a nightmare - different links, different sites, even some differences in menu. Ultimately called in the order instead of placing it online. Staff were polite and pleasant. Ordered food for three people and it was ready very quickly. Unfortunately, two of the three people ended up getting very sick after eating the food. They both had boneless ribs, and both felt that those may have been the culprit. The third person's food was fine and they had no issues when eating it originally or when eating the leftovers. Ordered 100.00 worth of food. They didn't follow the special instructions, noodles tasted like they were in the sewer. The egg rolls were over cooked and burnt. Pan fried noodles are my son's favorite and he refused to eat them. This place has gone completely down hill!!! Not recommended!!! read more

So the food quality is my new favorite in Bangor and the portions are huge and the people are so so kind. I thought I didn't get part of an order (which I was wrong I never got charged) and when I called they immediately offered to make it and deliver it all the way to Levant which is way above and beyond. I stopped at China Wok on Broadway to pick up some dinner. I ordered an egg roll and house lo mein. The egg roll was disgustingly sour, one bite, and I was sick to my stomach. The first bite of the lo mein, I found the rotten chicken. I highly recommend you do not eat there. Absolutely disgusting food. There is no excuse for food leaving a restaurant that is like this. Oriental Jade at 6:00 Saturday 2 rings an answer, Asian Palace 2 3 rings and an answer. The service is better elsewhere, the food by the reviews is better elsewhere. Beth may take your order and is just as sweet as the Gen Tso Chicken! I heard the location has gone thru a few owners, but this one is a hit. This was some of the best take-out I have ever had. The Won Ton Soup is full of meat and veggies, as well as dumplings in a rich, dark stock. The boneless spare ribs are not chewy like jerky, but thick slabs of juicy pork. I could go on, but the only thing on the downside for me was the small dining room with bright lights and fixed booths. OK for small to medium sized people, but if this does not describe you, plan on taking it home or have it delivered. I was working close by, temporarily, and will miss their food. read more

This was my first (most definitely my last) visit to the new China Wok. I ordered Egg Foo Yong, you would think it would have gravy, right? No gravy! Also ordered boneless ribs and teriyaki beef. The egg foo yong would have been okay if it had gravy. It also had really large pieces of pork, some of it I spit out - not tender, mostly fatty. It also came with pork fried rice, this was dry and not seasoned well at all, most of the pork in the rice was not something enjoyable to eat. This combination also came with an egg roll. This was soggy and lacked flavor. It was obvious that it had been sitting around for quite awhile. In fact, if I had to guess, I would say the egg rolls are NOT fresh, but rather frozen. The boneless ribs were dry and for the most part inedible! I only ate one and threw the rest in the trash. They were full of gristle. Not something I would want to eat. The teriyaki beef was dry! I expected it to be flavorful, it wasn't. Don't waste your time or money. NOT WORTH IT! I was hoping the food would be at least good, guess I was mistaken. Will not order again. read more

We had your Pork Fried Rice and it was bland and dry, we had 5 pieces of pork no egg, no onions and it was cold. We only live 5 minutes from the restaurant so it wasn't because we had far to travel. $10 plus for a QT of Pork fried rice with nothing in it is crazy. I think China Wok is really good. The problem with other reviews on Yelp are that they're comparing China Wok to the restaurant that was located there before instead of comparing it to other options currently available. I have had China Wok four or five times now and compared to any of the other Chinese Restaurants in the area, their food is much higher quality. They also have always been so nice, whether it's the person taking the orders, the waitress, or the kitchen staff. China Wok is my go-to place for good old fashioned American Chinese Food. read more

Walk away from China Wok! The sub gum chicken chow mien was terrible. China Light's sub gum had celery, carrots, onion, fresh mushrooms, water chestnuts, chicken & bamboo shoots. China Wok had only chinese cabbage, chicken & bamboo shoots. And their prices are about 50% more than China light. If you have a 1/2 hour lunch break it will take 20 minutes to get your in-dining food. We have gone to China Light hundreds of times & will not be going back to China Wok.(walk). read more

My husband and I ordered veggie lo mein and general tsos chicken with rice and rangoons. I was so excited because we loved china light! However we picked up our food and the rangoons were soggy, the rice and lo mein was extremely bland, and the tso chicken was undercooked and chewy. After we ate about 45 minutes later we both didn't feel very well. We both had nausea and felt not well. I am so dissatisfied and disappointed. We paid 35 dollars for food that was so not enjoyable. We will NEVER eat there again which is sad. Hope others find them enjoyable but I will not give anyone a recommendation to eat from China Wok. read more

Visited on 10/7 - Very busy so the order took some time. But, had the best veggie fried rice I've ever had.

Food good portions big service was slow but they are new I'm sure it will get better overtime I recommend giving it a try
