I stopped in for some appetizers. I ordered an egg rolls 2 spring rolls and 5 crab rangoons. The order wad ready in 10 minutes. The egg roll was good. Made with pork, cabbage, and carrots. It was fried to a crispy golden brown. The spring rolls were tasty and nicely toasted. The crab rangoons were not the best I've ever had. The shells were fried but not very crispy. The filling was bland. This review is for those appetizers. I am willing to try the lunch specials or dinner entrees. read more

So sorry to have to write a bad review but the takeout food we ordered was not good. I doubt the egg rolls and dumplings are homemade. They were small and dried out. The beef with snow pea pods was not good. The beef was tough, the pea pods mushy and too many carrots. The Lo Mein noodles tasted fishy. The house special fried rice was boring, lacked ingredients and was yellow! It was more like a Mediterranean rice. So odd. The sesame chicken was ok. We spent a lot of money for subpar, no flavor food. We grabbed our order thinking it would include the usual soy sauce, hot mustard and sweet sauce, nope. Good thing we had a side of the ok sesame sauce to add some flavor. I am not sure if it was a bad night or what because other reviews are good. I wish the restaurant well but for $70, not worth it. read more

We stopped here for lunch as we were passing through the area and stopped based on other Yelp ratings. We are from Seattle originally so we're quite picky when it comes to our Chinese food. We ordered Hunan chicken and Kung Poa chicken for lunch. We specifically asked for spicy, but it was very mild for our standards. Instead of spicing it up with Szechuan chili peppers, they apparently spiced ours up with salt! :( We were also disappointed that the lunch special did not include any soup or egg rolls, which is probably how they keep their lunch prices under $6. I would have gladly paid $2 more to have a cup of soup included and an egg roll or spring roll with our lunch. Another disappointment, they do not accept any form of electronic payment, only cash. They also only serve food in single-use plastic dishes and plastic utensils, which is horrible to the environment and who knows what it does to our systems eating off it. It was filling and the price was right, but we doubt that would ever go back there ever again unless the had a "Restaurant Impossible" intervention from Gordon Ramsey! :D read more

Tasty, as you would expect (it seems all these small Asian places use the exact same sauce - it's almost as if they were one chain restaurant). Unremarkable; enjoyable, but not memorable. Nothing fancy here, just old fashioned Chinese takeaway, like you used to get when you were a kid. A little tip...I always ask for white rice instead of the yellow/fried rice which is a waste of your taste buds... Rather have all those sauces on plain rice. read more

This place has the best Chinese food in Manitowoc County. I've tried the others and this place is by far the most consistent and tasty. My favorite is item #C26, the Orange Flavor Chicken combination plate that is served with pork fried rice and an egg roll. I have tried a number of the other dishes and found those to be very delicious as well, so don't be afraid to be adventurous and sample something different. 1st timer here, steamed dumplings DELICIOUS! Seafood w/garlic good but had a 'left open in the fridge' taste. Now, the vegies were crispy, great portion of seafood, just that kinda 'stale' taste. General Tso chicken good and deep fried spring rolls good, but I did expect them to be steamed for some reason. We WILL eat here again and I will change my review accordingly. I don't usually review on just one visit, but food quality is VERY important. If they read this, there might be some quality control they may discover and improve upon? Again, definitely will eat here again so I do recommend! Oh, it is a bit of a bummer they dont accept CC or debit. Had to go pull $ out before coming here. I'd gladly pay a ~3% fee if they'd accept debit. read more

Best chinese food in Manitowoc county. Everything is always fresh and cooked well. The owners have stayed the same for the last decade, or at least the recipes have stayed the same for the last decade. The only cons are they're closed on Mondays and don't deliver, but this place is a must try at least once! read more

Excellent food. I've tried a few different menu items and never had a bad meal. The general tso chicken is the best here but they also have extremely good orange chicken, sesame chicken, chicken and broccoli, and lo mein. The white rice is always made up perfect too. Usually you can find out how good a Chinese place is by their soups. Ordered a Hot and Sour large, and I could see the chef make it from scratch fresh....was impressed. The soup was perfect. Since then have been back for dumplings which are cooked well on the inside (not red or pink, ick). tried the Shrimp with lobster sauce, Spicy beef and Seafood Delight. All seemed fresh.
